《cocaine》my brother's broken laptop
Advertisement
So, my brother (who's name I won't mention) has a laptop. It's not functioning anymore, and I want to tell you why.
My brother has some real anger issues. It doesn't help that he's on the autism spectrum (I assume) and that my parents literally do nothing to calm his temper at all.
My brother also plays video games, and keeps playing games that frustrate him.
Now, what does my brother do in his temper tantrums?
Why, he simply hits slams slaps whatever he's holding or is directly in front of him.
By doing this, he's already severely damaged four Wii remotes, broken a Wii U charger, made the Wii U joystick bad, and now he's his laptop. Completely.
The laptop's screen is , and will not turn on. He's had this thing for 6 months, and it's already obliterated.
My freaking brother will not stop playing things that frustrate him, and trying to get him off those things frustrate him even further, and I am told by my mom and dad to leave him be because I'm not his freaking parent, but they don't do anything about it anyway, and now my brother has freaking payed the ultimate debt, and I hope he learned his lesson.
Also, from the entry above, it makes it sound like my family is money loaded. . We're freaking poor, and I think my dad likes to ignore that sometimes. We just got the money for our (two siblings and I) laptops because our grandmother died, and we got an inheritance from it.
We had one laptop, and we'd argue over who's turn it was to use it, mostly my brother and my sister (It wasn't worth the arguing to keep the turn). Dad, being tired of this and not feeling like putting in the effort to discipline his children or something, decides he wants to buy us all touchscreen computers for Christmas with our inheritance money.

But then he buys them a month early because he's so tired of my sibling's wining of laptop turns.
This is a waste of money, I'd told him, I'd rather have an i-Pad, (apps are accesible, animating is easier, and it was cheaper). Dad asks if I'd complain about how the others had laptops, I said yes (Like, the only con was that some Roblox games weren't available on tablet. everything else seemed fine to me.) I neglect to mention that my brother is going to hit his laptop because if dad doesn't think this is a waste of money, he surely won't listen to reason.
And so we get them. I reluctantly take mine, it's nice, but I honestly would've preferred for us to save our money.
And so, Roblox was downloaded on both mine and my brother's laptop.
M brother keeps hitting his laptop in frustration.
I try to get him to stop.
Mom and dad tell me to leave him alone.
And now we're here, $450 wasted, because my brother couldn't slam his fist on the ground instead of his laptop's keyboard.
ugh.
