How would you react if one day you woke up inside an environment running on tropes and clichés? For allegedly average high-schooler Leonard Dunning, this question became quite relevant when one day he woke up in a pristine city on a strange island in the middle of the Atlantic, without any memories, surrounded by classmates who are barely more than characterless placeholders, and with a classic indecisive harem protagonist and his impossibly beautiful love interests for friends. That would be hard to deal with already, yet his investigation into the tropes governing the world, trying to avoid harem shenanigans, and his odd blend of outside-context knowledge, unique abilities, and a penchant for causing trouble wherever he goes ends up dragging him into the center of the action anyway. Disclaimer: This is a tongue-in-cheek, slice of life romantic comedy, with occasional sprinkles of combat and mystery to spice things up. Please do not expect a straight up deconstruction beyond some in-universe meta-commentary by the characters.

This is real, and death is real, and this part streaches beyond the fiction into reality. -I'm going to say a minor spoiler, but I don't want it to take you unaware because it is something to be aware of. At one point, my MC attempts suicide and fails. It's a very violent scene and I will put up the gore tag after writing this, and it's also just really depressing. If this will be triggering, you need to be aware of this before you read it. -This is a christian book. It may go against some of your beliefs. Before she could answer, the loud bang of the door opening interrupted the concerned maid. Four soldiers came as they draw their swords circling around the poor lady as she was held by her maid. A man with a look of disgust and hatred was visible towards her as he uttered the following words. "Take her, and step away from her" The grip from her maid tightened around her, as she defends "No! I will not, nor will do anything you says!" "Very well, take both of them." As the guards start approaching them, the maid struggled as she watched her lady get taken. "This is nonsense! Lady Francheska did nothing wrong!" "Nothing wrong..." the man repeated, turning to the Lady held by two guards, he spoke what led the situation. "Francheska Del Von Hartpinjer, you are held responsible for the attempted killing of the crown prince." As the words reached to the 'now' Francheska, her face grew pale as she remembered what her friend have told her. This is the part where the antagonist is going to die.
