"... the rumour of the ghosts, that's why we're here"

Natsume said as he steps forward. Maintaining his glare to his senpais. He continues,

"You all, have probably figured out why we're here. If you want to report us, then go ahead, but know that we will report you and the wormhole. Of course, having them investigating will only make things messy"

Sakurano face darkened "How much do you know?"

Natsume challenged him, "What do you think?"

Seeing them so strain, Amy was about to resolve the tension, when mikan immediately intervened, as she desperately explains, their intention, and their plan to secure the antibiotics- begging them to tell if they know where is the warp hole.

Sakurano reaches out, trying to touch mikan's forehead as he denies mikan's words, claiming she misunderstood when another hand stop Sakurano's from reach out to mikan. Amy, who was quiet since earlier, said,

"It best if you don't... senpai," she said, smiling while maintaining a stern gaze with him.

"What's the meaning of this, amy... you of all people"

"I know what you want to say senpai, but I know what I'm doing and..."

"Liar!" Mikan shouted. Tears stream down her face as she shouted that word to Sakurano and Amy. Mikan look at them as she continued,

"You obviously know something! And you too amy, since earlier you seem to know everything that will happen- as if you've expected it. Why, why must you hide about all of this? About the warp hole! Are you actually protecting those Z people?! Are you perhaps the spies? I want to believe that, as your younger sibling in the hospital, perhaps, both of you are not the spies. Perhaps you're all... just worried. But now things are like this..."

Amy just stared at Mikan.

Ahh, I have made her cry again.

She swallows the candy and her body slowly reduced to her original size- with her clothes shrunken to fit her physical body. She then held Mikan tightly and said,

"Mikan, i, for one, hated them thoroughly. From the bottom of my heart because... they were the one who killed my parents. The reason why four of us were orphaned when we start our life in this academy."

Silence immediately ensued due to her sudden revelation- something no one in this room ever knows- except for Ruka when he accidentally overheard the other day when Amy, Natsume and the rest were kidnapped.

Amy then continued, she said,

"I understand why you're suspicious of me, and I... I can't tell you everything yet. But I promise one day I will. But not today... can you trust me on this, mikan?"

She said as she looked mikan straight into her eyes. Mikan never expected to suddenly listen to Amy's dark history all of a sudden, and felt really bad about it. She couldn't understand, just why this person keeps everything to herself.

But at least, mikan's know one thing.

"I trust you... and I'm so sorry"

"Don't be. You deserved to be mad. Everyone will feel that way if things that matter life and death was hidden from them..."

She then looks at sakurano, who already hide away his shocked expression when he heard the unexpected story. Amy said, with a sad smile,

"I know, there's no proof that they went through that warp hole... but at least, it will give us clues. Could you help us, please?"

Sakurano then closes his eyes. He remembered that at least, he promises he won't become someone who will forget those that are important to him...

"You... have nullification, Alice... She has the same one, right amy?"

Amy just nodded. Sakurano then finally make his decision. He turns around and reaches out for something in the drawer. Subaru just silently murmur,

'Shuu... so you've decided then...' Subaru statement was answered by Sakurano's silence, as to affirm his statement. He took out a notebook while explaining to his guests,

"You see, even if you don't go and chase them now, the school has already made an effort to find them and already organize a team, but seeing your determined gaze, there's no point in telling you guys don't go... however, due to HQ plan, you guys will be without Natsume and Tonouchi, i doubt you guys can go furth.."

"Who says anything about me not going? I've never agreed with any plan by those people from the HQ, never mind the old man, but don't simply add me in your equation and conclude like that" Natsume coldly interject sakurano. Sakurano just held back his sigh and continue,

"...Alright. But then, without Tonouchi, there's just not much you can do. We don't want you to play a dangerous game, risky your lives just to satisfy your ego and put yourselves in danger. And even if you managed to get to them, how confident are you that you can go back unscatched?"

At this, Amy saw how mikan was hesitant. That's good- they need to be aware of the risk following this after all. She decided to stay quiet for now and observe some more.

Natsume, feeling a tad bit annoyed, just reply,

"Who are you talking to? This is a bet I'm not willing to lose. And I will be going..." Natsume paused for a bit before he continued.

"..of course, together with Ruka" following this, Ruka, who was since earlier was quiet, touched by Natsume's mentioning of him. For wanting to go together with him. And happy that he can help him too- so that Natsume no longer held all the burden by himself.

Then, seemingly a bit comical, Natsume just continued "Well, who cares whether the shadow idiot follows or not..."

"Hey, you know, this idiot can use the shadow to tie you down and prevent you from going, you know"

"Hmph... but most importantly, mikan..."

He said, looking at her, with eyes that wish to know, that challenged, he asked,

"What about you? What are you going to do?"

Mikan, look over from Natsume, amy, Ruka, and the rest of the people in the room. Feeling more confident than ever. She said.

"I wish to protect. With this Alice of mine, I will surely- no, I will protect everyone with my power. And make sure everyone get back safely... using my nullification Alice!"

At this, amy just grinned.

"Good one Mikan! Well, you heard them. And I will, of course, go with them." Amy reply, already getting ready to go. Tonouchi then just held back his sigh, and give a simple smile- he can't help but give in to this kids determination. He said,

"To be honest, I never expected we will find the warp hole and hope that by not finding it, I could prevent you guys from pursuing them. But... hmm, let them go, sakurano, Subaru. And so I will stay as the 'hostage'. However, please, promise me, don't bother if you can't get the antibiotics; or whether your mission will succeed or not. Most importantly, always prioritize your safety. Come back altogether, ok"

And so they leave the room, heading towards a designated place bathed with moonlight. With sakurano in the front, explaining to the rest of the whole warp hole with amy and Subaru slowly walking at the back.

No words whatsoever exchange between them- silence filled the space between them as each of them occupied with their own thoughts. Subaru, maintaining his indifferent facade, thought,

'Should I say something...Comfort her... About her parents, or... Hmm, she actually never truly tell about herself that much...'

Meanwhile, Amy was thinking and considering. Should she instead ask Subaru to sneak into the room instead? While the HQ distracted?

No, that will be dangerous. And suspicious.

They both sigh at the same time. Their antiques and troubled expression of course never went unnoticed. Sakurano just sweatdropped at their similarities and interaction.

"Anyway, we have arrived. The last thing that will be needed is 'the key'."

And so, he took out a key from the notebook and put inside the keyhole. Then, a warphole appeared- earning a shocked reaction from the team.

"Quickly, go inside the portal. You only have 30 seconds"

And so started with Natsume and Ruka, they immediately jumped into the portal. Followed by Tsubasa and Mikan- with Tonouchi giving mikan a necklace,

"Mikan, make sure to wear it, it could help. Amy, you too"

As he throws another necklace to Amy. Amy nodded gratefully and immediately walk in when her hand was held momentarily by Subaru. Amy just gives him a puzzled look only for her to saw his hesitant expression before everything went black.
