She was at the medical center- that was her first thought when she opens her eyes to a white ceiling and a strong smell of medication. She looks by her side and saw her younger brother falling asleep with his head placed on the armrest.

"You're awake?"

Amy immediately looks for the source of this voice only to see Goshima's concern face who was standing at the edge of her bed. At this, she quickly pushes herself up only to have a hand gently push her down.

"It's alright. Just rest for now. The doctor said that you have a very high fever hence why you fainted..."

"I see... thank you very much senpai. I appreciate it. And I'm so sorry for suddenly fainting like that, never thought that it will happen"

"That's fine. Though... are you alright now? The doctor said that if you're already fine, you can discharge soon"

"Well, never better. And, I really wanted to go back. Staying here at night just doesn't feel right with me."

"I will see the doctor on that. If you will excuse me, I will meet the one in charge now"

"Again, thank you so much senpai"

"No problem" Gohima gives a final smile before disappearing behind the door. Amy, who was maintaining a calm neutral facade immediately break into pale expression. She still feels uncomfortable, but who can blame her.

She was being careless- VERY careless, of the fact that she forgot about the traitor Goshima Hijiri. That explains why she keeps on feeling unsettled.

"Nee-chan...? Are you, feeling better now?" amy turned to her side and saw her younger brother who just woke up, staring straight to her eyes. Amy smile.

"Yeah, I'm feeling better now. Sorry Yusaku"

"If you still feel bad, you need to rest nee-chan"

"Geez, I'm fine. Your sister is much stronger than a bulldozer ok"

"B-but... you faint..."

"Ahaha, well, sometimes this sister of yours kinda forget to rest more. Don't worry~"

"..."

Seeing Yusaku sulking, she just smiles again and ruffled his brother's hair. And slowly pull him into a hug.

"It's alright. I won't be going anywhere"

Later at the dorm, Sophie makes a lot of fuss, saying Amy should stop staying up so late and rest more. Afterward, decided to take charge of both Mirai and Yoichi for a week, in which they will stay in her room instead.

Sumire came in visiting her room, giving a small bag of cookies and asking if she can help with anything. It was quite a shock for Amy as Sumire rarely show her soft side even when they are close. Seeing Sumire who toned down her attitude a bit makes her smile and ask Sumire to join her with eating cookies and drink cocoa.

In which, her room was soon barged in by Mikan who look worried with Hotaru trailing behind her looking indifferent. It was quite hard to convince Mikan not to cry anymore and that she was just having a fever- although Hotaru just giving her a look that says 'you're lying'. Amy just shrugged at Hotaru's pointed look.

Her room was bustling with her siblings, Sumire, Mikan, and Hotaru... and she just smiles at the rambunctiousness that was slowly brewing.

At which, sometime later, the elementary dorm caretaker came in and snap at them. Amy being amy just laugh it off...

Though, her heart still feels unsettled.

She keeps on thinking about Goshima Hijiri. She was so scared... and angry. Because Goshima is living proof- they will never truly safe here as long as ESP still actively brainwashing people to his side... that this is not the time to be happy for such simple things.

Goshima Hijiri... should she pull him to her side...?

No.

That will be dangerous. Who knows how long he had been brainwashed by ESP. Trying to pull him to her side will only expose people around her in danger. Especially with him being a two-faced... She can't take a stupid risk like that just because she felt the need to help him escape from ESP grasp.

She needs to remind herself again and again- she is not a hero. And survival is a priority.

But then, should she left him alone?

That... will be stupid too. Having the knowledge of a possible future, leaving him alone to his and ESP device will only cause her to be jumpier. Having Metamorphosis Alice... she also need to think of a way to counter that problem too. Not to mention, he is vital- important. She cannot dismiss it just like that. Maybe... she could thread around Goshima carefully just so she could be prepared if ESP were to pull any action outside the norm set in the original timeline.

After all, the butterfly effect really needs to be considered. Who knows, maybe something about ESP change- And that changes may not be good.

But, the second choice is still dangerous. Undoubtedly, Goshima and ESP will be suspicious of her...

...That's how it should be. But today, somehow, while she is reminded of her carelessness, today's incident also gives her opportunity.

Opportunity to just casually getting to know him. Then, their second meeting will be important- important to determine whether they will continue to keep in touch with each other. And maybe that way, she can quietly snoop around.

Risky... but both choice risky. At least, the second one won't let her expose things they have been preparing while still getting information on ESP.

Yep, that seems fine. Though, undoubtedly a new headache started to brew.

Amy finally closed her eyes- resting for the night...
