1 week has passed since their transfer. And guess what, negative rumours already spread throughout the school.

About a certain black cat is apparently a murderer. Of course, it is none other than Natsume Hyuuga.

Everyone was wary of him today. Some keep away from him. It's easy to understand, they are scared. Who wouldn't if they heard an elementary student, so powerful with his Alice, added with him being a 'murderer' which is 100% based on rumour.

I just rolled my eyes - internally at this. Can't show any impoliteness. Anyway, this just shows how humans tend to succumb to rumours and judge a person based on it, without personally getting to know him.

The class started as usual, but the row which Natsume usually sat is empty. Only Ruka is there.

He... probably skipped his class, or... persona's mission.

She glanced to the empty seat once again before shifting her focus to the board.

Damn school and damn those stupid people.

It was recess when he, Natsume came in. From the looks of it, I know he just went back from his mission.

C'mon, this kid has only been in this school for 1 week. Where the hell are all those 'responsible' adult, haa?

Anyway, while I bemused in my own thoughts, Yusuke pulls my sleeve slightly. Getting my intention. I just raised my eyebrows.

At this, Yusuke asked, "Amy-nee. Look there, some students are ganging upon him. What should we do?"

I just stared at those group. Contemplating. Suddenly, Sumire stood up.

Reprimand them for ganging up on a person. Nevertheless, in front of so many.

"Hey! Stop ganging upon him!"

"Hah! Girls. What do you know? He is a murderer. And all you girls see is his look, his Alice and what's not."

And the gang just laughed. Suddenly, a ball of fire appeared, burn their clothes and hair slightly, in which scared them away. Natsume just walked to his sit and sleep.

I just look back at Yusuke.

"It's ok. He is strong. But, it's nice of you for showing concern. Good job Lil bro"

"Hmmm, ok nee-san..."

"Amy-nee..."

"Yes, Sophie?"

"Is it true that... that rumours?"

At Sophie's question, I went quiet. I looked at Sophie, who shows me her puppy face. I know what she is up to. She probably wants me to help them dispel the rumours, at least for people who sat around her.

Geez, my cute sister. You know I can't reject that look, right?

I was about to answer her question when I realised that the whole class are quiet as if wanted to know my reply. It seems that I have no choice but to answer then.

Haa... 

I give Sophie a pointed look which delivered a silent message, which I promised to double her training this weekend. Sophie just gulped but still smile happily. Anyway, firstly, I need to address the situation...

"Hmm, why did you all suddenly quiet? You want to know, too?"

There's a silent murmur, and Amy sighed, taking it as yes. She looked straight at Sophie eyes, slightly caressing her sister's hair.

"My dear, dear sister. It is called rumour in the first place because it does not have any evidence. Surely we can't use rumours as a pretext for facts in argument and so..."

"But then Amy-nee, every rumour must have a reason, right?"

"You are very smart. Yes, indeed. Every rumour must have a reason. But think about it. For this 1 week. Did you see, him, hurt anyone of us? No right. He is cold, despite his Alice. But do you remember what our mum teach us? She taught us... That.."

Amy glanced to the whole class, flashing a very calm smile - filled with fondness.

"She taught us, that we should judge a person based on how we personally know him/her. Not because of other's talks or rumour. But based on our experience, being his friends. We are all friends here after all. or at least comrade. Isn't it important for us to get to know him first before judging him, right?"

At this, everyone slowly nods. Agreeing. Sumire enthusiastically nod.

"Definitely!" - Sumire says with stars in her eyes.

Then, Inchou added,

"Pl-plus, everyone, I think the rumour started is because Natsume is part of dangerous ability class. So, maybe there are person who is jealous of him and spread rumours. Right, Amy-san?"

"Good deduction, Inchou. So, I guess, that answers it?"

Everyone agreed. The bell rings, and recess is over. Misaki-sensei slides the door open and walked in. While Ruka, shot a thankful glance to Amy, which she just smiles.

After this, while the rumour still spiralling over, most of the elementary students, especially class A, ignored it. They tried to approach Natsume in an attempt to befriend him. Of course, Natsume being Natsume, he remains indifferent. But everyone can see he has a soft spot, but he does not show it too much.

Still a defying storm.

Oh! And also, another rumour spread about an angel and her siblings of class A. But the said person has no idea about the rumour. Not anytime soon of course.
