The next morning, she woke up.

Their parents haven't back yet. This is definitely bad news. They never went out this long. But decided to dismiss it.

She woke up her younger siblings, instructing them to take shower before heading downstairs. She then took Mirai and went for a quick shower together before heading downstairs where yusaku and Sophie wait.

"Amy-nee, why mama and papa aren't home yet?"

"I'm not sure Sophie. But first, let me cook some scrambled eggs for everyone. Is that ok?"

They all nod which then Amy started to take some eggs and start the stove. After finished, she starts preparing Mirai's mashed pumpkin.

They all chat amongst themselves, about cartoons, their Alice progress while Mirai's been fed by Amy. Suddenly, the door blew open.

Shocked, Amy immediately took Mirai from the toddler's seat, ushering both Sophie and yusaku to hide behind a cabinet. After quickly reassured Mirai, who was about to cry, she gives Mirai to Sophie.

Silently whisper to them "Hide here. Yusaku, send telepathy SOS to any police station nearby or anyone with Alice's signature. Trust me, and don't move from he-"

Shocked, she turns around only to see 2 men, in a full clad black suit, aiming what looks like a pistol towards her.

Amy immediately held her hand to the side. Showing her protectiveness.

One of them, silver hair with red eyes, only look at her amused. The crazy bastard of the duo.

"You must be the rumored eldest. The cool and protective sister. Daughter of Kanao and Tanjirou Tsuyuri... right?"

They know us! Who are they? AAO? Some other sick organization?

"Who. are. You? And stay away, I'm warning you!"

"Hoho, quite the feisty one ehh"

Then he shot, miss by a millimeter from her ears.

"Shut up, brat! You have no position to talked back now. Follow us now"

"As if anyone stupid enough to follow you after your dangerous feat. Just what are you going to do?!"

"Heh, Isn't it obvious? You guys are Alice. Of course, there are many things we can do, and even price we could sell you after all. We don't know what your Alice is, cursed those maggots, concealed all your location and Alice!! But now that your parents are dead, we can take the time to analyze you guys"

Dead? Who? Them? Our parents? Dead? Killed?

One drop of tear falls down her cheek. She could hear her siblings sniffled at her back.

"YOU! YOU EVIL-! WHY DID YOU KILL OUR PARENTS!!"

Amy shouted. Rage. Intense hateful rage swelling up from inside. One remained stoic, and one laugh maniacally.

"HAHAHAHA. You have no idea. Hah! They simply get in our way so we decided to get rid of them. Easy. But you, you dare to shout at me?! You dare show defiance against me! Your life is in our hand now, so..." then, he proceeds taking out his black slimy whip and attacked her.

"This is your punishment for defiance"

She just shot a look of disgust before summoning her shield Alice. She mimicked the shape of a classic shield as she protects herself and her siblings. The whip rebound, hence the crazy guy and the stoic guy just jump aside.

Ohho! Shield Alice, how unique.. - the crazy guy mutter.

"Hand up! We are the police. We have surrounded the household."

What?! How did they get here so fast? They did not even have the time to call for anyone, unless...

The crazy guy shot a look to the bunch of kids.

Maybe one of them is a telepath.

The stoic guy approached the crazy guy. The crazy guy just nodded and disappear as the police rushed in. The only thing they saw was a large crack on the ceiling and floor. 2 adults suddenly disappear. And a bunch of kids huddled together, scared.

One of the female officers approach them. After a few words exchanged, they were all brought to the police office for further investigation and protection.
