Yue sighed close-mouthed while staring at the burning building, next to her a stiffened Natsume with sweat beading down his face and a worried Ruka, his rabbit in his arms.
"Natsume..." Ruka walked next to him and stared at him worried, Yue softly patting Natsume's hand that was tightly holding hers. His widened eyes that were staring up at the flames looked down as he turned his head around to Ruka, his hand slowly loosening his tight hold on her hand, but not letting go.
"Are you ok? You're drenched in sweat." Ruka questioned while staring at him. Yue calmly nodded and took out her handkerchief from her cardigan pocket, dabbing it softly against his rather heated up skin.
"Yeah." He turned his head around.
"What's the matter?" Ruka's eyes narrowed slightly in genuine concern for his best friend.
"I'm fine..." Natsume stated absentminded, Yue sighed softly and wrapped her lean arms around his neck, standing on her tippy toes. He leaned forward slowly and wrapped his own arms around her small waist, pulling her closer towards him, their bodies touching as Ruka shook his head with a blush covering his face, wondering when they got so expressive.
"Flames are....really scary aren't they?" His low voice question came out more as a statement, Ruka's eyebrows narrowing and Yue's head shaking to the sides calmly.
"Natsume..."

"Natsume!" Yue softly yelled when Natsume's hand made contact with the small head of Yoichi that was sitting on her lap. The smaller boy took out his tongue to an eye twitching Natsume. Yue sighed.
"Yoichi." They began their retorts to each other, rather amused with the situation Yue let them go at it like kids - literally- all they wanted. The most interesting thing was the fact that Yoichi's hand was holding tightly Natsume's sleeve, him sitting so close that their arms and shoulders touched each other, neither of them minding.
Yue chuckled beneath her fist when she saw Yoichi and Natsume in a poker-face stare off once again.
The almost calm atmosphere brought out by the bluenette was instantly replaced with a tense and stiff aura when a clicking of the door sounded and in walked in the familiar person dressed in all black with a white mask over his eyes.
Yue stayed silent, her eyes following Persona, Natsume's eyes hardened and his body stood on guard, even lil Yoichi stayed silent, slowly clutching tighter onto Yue and Natsume's sleeve. Thankfully the only thing he did was calmly but swiftly grab a stack of tight grey closed file on his desk, then leaving as if he was never there.
But Yue's keen eyes happened to catch view of some words that were written inside a paper. What would that person want with her school file.....? Her eyes narrowed slightly, Natsume and Yoichi both staring at her as they noticed Yue sigh almost worry filled.
"Were they yours?" He lowly questioned, his eyes slanting. She lightly patted his hand.
"It's alright. I can kind of guess what he wants them for anyway." She softly chuckled, making Natsume raise an almost non-seeable eyebrow.
"Yue-nee." Yoichi tugged on her shirt, both Natsume and Yue's head turning to down. Yoichi had sparkly eyes as he stared at them both.
"Let's play." Yue chuckled lightly while Natsume sighed in his throat.

"Mikan!" Yue eye smiled while jogging lightly towards a surprised blushing Mikan that yelled in excitement when she saw her bluenette friend. She grabbed the smaller girl's hands and jumped up and down in excitement, Yue smiling softly at Hotaru who nodded in greeting and a waving smiling Yuu.

Natsume stayed slightly behind, his hands in his pockets as he turned his head, took a glance at the flowing paper with a wooden rode, then turned his head back around.
"You must really get a kick out of putting in futile efforts." Yue gave him a glance but he didn't waver this time. Mikan shot up ,-all 4 feet and karate clothed-, with angered eyes and stood on guard in front of him, an amused Yue standing more to Natsume's side but almost in the middle of them both.
"Shut up! Go away! I'm serious about this!" She yelled. Yue smiled softly at a serious Mikan, a weird sort of proud feeling lifting in her chest.
"I'm sure Mr. Jinno will acknowledge me if I train and get better!" Yue raised an eyebrow at that. Now why would Mikan- ohhh. Something must have happened in class that made him tell her horrible things, and now she's wanting to prove him wrong.
If what Yue thinks is correct then wow she must be quite a physic, though that isn't much far from the truth either. If it was in her situation, she would have just let him talk and talk all he wants. It's very easy for her to tune in and out you see, one of her special quirks that come with the whole package.
"Yue." She blinked and tuned back in, turning her head to an expectant Natsume that was behind her, waiting for her. She tilted her head in confusement before a loud familiar scream went through her ears, making her calmly look up to see a yelling and flailing Mikan very high in the air moving up and down by a calm Mochiage who moved his hand in the same motion.
"It's not good! Not working! I'm scared! Let me down! Yue-chan!!" Yue softly smiled and offered Mikan a hand to help her up when Mochiage put her down, the boy proudly leaving after saying his goodbyes to both Natsume and Yue, then waving his hand lazily at the group.
"You could have gone a little easier on me!" She huffed in and out, shakily grabbing Yue's hand, which made Natsume's eye twitch, going unnoticed by anyone obviously.
"I wonder why it's not working....she was able to extinguish Natsume-kun's alice, and that's several times more powerful than telekinesis." Yuu wondered out loud, Natsume's eyes narrowing slightly.
"That's right. All right, Natsume! Fight me!" Yue just had to. Her palm met her face as she sighed and shook her head. "You're hopeless. Your still gonna do this?" Hotaru questioned, her hands behind her back as she stared down at a determined Mikan.
Natsume's eyes narrowed with a line. "You're getting cocky. No crying about it later." He stated rather threating, Yue having to pat him on the arm to make sure he wouldn't be too rough.
"Come!" She yelled, Yue gracefully moving out of the way as Natsume's hand was engulfed with fire.
"Aahhh! Firee!" Yue chuckled lightly at Mikan's screaming yell, Yuu rapidly and nervously bringing out a fire extinguisher out of nowhere, pressing the shooting water towards Mikan's butt, Hotaru with a sweat drop to the side of her face. Yes this was her best friend in 'training'.
"Well, I gotta run so see you." He glanced to an amused Yue that was staring at Mikan. She turned her calm eyes to his dark red ones and smiled softly with a tilt of her head and a light pat on his arm.

"I'll be there quick." His eyes narrowed slightly but he nodded and took one last glance at the group, then at her and turned, walking away. Hotaru and Yuu were about to leave as well but Mikan had rolled over to them with long tears, making Yue chuckle and walk towards them.
"Yue-chan! Hotaru-chan wants to leave me!! She said she quits being my best friend! But I won't quit!" Mikan yelled, trying to hug Hotaru just as the poker-faced girl took out a pink oval gun and shot pink balls at Mikan, each one that flew out were followed by a "Baka!" from the gun. Yue stared in amusement at the turn of events from next to a nervous Yuu.
"Let go. Idiot girl." Hotaru shot Mikan a few more times as she backed up, the bluenette watching in rather interesting gaze, before her eyes narrowed slightly when she realized how one of the balls flew right by the face a shocked Jinno. He angrily turned his head,
"What are you doing?" And walked towards the worried group -minus a usual calm Hotaru and Yue-.
"I don't know what you're up to, but you caused a commotion just last night!" He had his hand strictly behind his back, his judgmental glare to the pigtailed girl. Yue blinked and nodded inwardly, know realizing that it was her brunette buddy who had jumped back inside for a lil girl's tape.
"Here I thought you were reflecting alone somewhere on what you've done." Yue raised an eyebrow. Excuse him? Did he just diss Mikan for actually trying to help out of her own will? Is he freaking moronic? Yue had her calm face on the outside, inside scoffing at the ridiculous older man.
"I want to develop my Alice more so...!" Mikan's eyes widened slightly, her eyebrows raised while she held her hands in front of her.
"It's bad enough that you're a No Star. Just how much trouble do you plan on causing?" Yue stayed silent, calmly listening with a rather worried Yuu next to her. Her mouth curved into a small smile when she saw Hotaru take a step forward.
"She's training because she's a No Star." Jinno raised his head slightly, staring down at them, then taking a glance at Yue before glancing back at them.
"What are honor students like you two doing with this idiot in the first place? Even that kid is here..." He mumbled the last part to himself in distaste, Yue scoffing silently in her throat, wanting to roll her eyes at the look he gave her, thank god they missed his last words.
"Sensei, I'm the one who dragged Hotaru and Inchou into this." She tried to reason, Jinno's frog croaking after.
"Sensei, please tell us why she's the only one who's not able to send letters." And right after Hotaru questioned that, Jinno automatically stated his answer, "It's because terrible students like her should be worrying about things other than family." His judgmental tone making Hotaru narrow her eyes by a tad, Yue slowly clasping her hands behind her back, hoping she wouldn't have to use her alice but staring on at the situation happening just in case.
"You should be thankful this academy took you in, and concentrate on your studies."
"I was just-!" His glasses gleamed in light before disappearing, eyes narrowed a tad bit more than before.
"You're a terrible student who's barely worthy of being called an Alice, and you should realize that" He coldly stated, Yue's hands tightening around her wrists in slowly filling anger. Mikan was frozen shocked and fully depressed before Hotaru glanced to the side and mumbled
"Cold-hearted bastard." Yue did an air fists behind her back, her anger slowly turning into proudness at Hotaru stepping up for her long-time friend.
"What did you say?" His eyes glared down at the short-haired girl.
"Know your place!" He threatingly raised his thin wand that was in his hand, lightning flashing in it.
"You always tell us to not use our Alices, but all you do is use your alice to threaten or punish students." She let out with a rash tone in her monotone voice. Yue's eyes narrowed when the wand was raised with electricity filled around it.
"Don't talk back!" He yelled slightly, just as electricity zapped hard on the back of Hotaru's hand. She winced as her panda mirror fell to the floor and broke into pieces of glass, tightly holding her hand back in comfort.
"Hotaru! "Hotaru-san!" Yuu and Mikan both gasped and yelled out in shock. Hotaru turned her narrowed eyes and head back to the angered Jinno.
"You abusive teacher!" She retorted once more, Jinno's eyes narrowing into a glare before raising his wand while stating coldly.
"Seems you still haven't had enough." Just as a giant light blue volt was about to come out of his wand and zap her, Mikan yelled loudly for him to stop and ran in front of Hotaru, her arm out in front of her body with her other one in front of Hotaru protectively. Boom! Her power finally worked and she stopped the electricity! Yue smiled lightly at the achievement before her eyes narrowed when Jinno clicked his tongue in annoyance and was about raise his wand once more, only for his eyes to widened as his body abruptly froze, a rather strong ton of pressure against him, almost making him press down against the floor if it didn't stop a few seconds later. The three kids in front of him looked confused at what just happened and glanced back a calm Yue who had her hands behind her.
Jinno glanced to the bluenette and sent her a scowl before turning around, -his frog crooking out like chokes-, trying to shake of the nervous feeling and rapid beating in his chest.
"I'm sure you know what's going to happen now. I'll hand down your punishments later." He yelled out, stomping away with the same expression.
Yue smiled softly at the three kids in front of her celebrating that Mikan had used her Alice to help Hotaru, but became confused when she mentioned she didn't use her Alice the second time. Hotaru turned her head around to a close-eye smiling Yue, the other two following suit.
"Was that your Alice?" She questioned. Yue tilted her head to the side and softly nodded, a very tiny smile on her lips.
"Thank you..." The short-haired girl let out a very small grateful grin.
"Am really curious about what's your alice, Yue-chan. Narumi said you have three! One of them being the Premonition Alice and the other being the Barrier Alice. But he said I had to ask you if I wanted to know your third one." Mikan wondered out loud with awe staring at the calm girl who shifted and chuckled lightly.
"Maybe later." She softly smiled but with a firm tone in her voice. Mikan nodded as Yuu and Hotaru stared with thinking eyes.
"That's really awesome though! Your alice's are so cool!! One day you have to show me they ok?!" She yelled excitingly, making Yue chuckle lightly.
"Not all Alices can be seen Mikan." Hotaru explained to the still in-awe Mikan with Yuu beside her nodding, then adding his bits of information.
Thank goodness that they were so into the conversations that they didn't notice the silent grey zaps of electricity surrounding the silver thin bracelets that were on Yue's trembling wrists hidden behind her back.
The moment she had used that Alice, her body was rapidly engulfed with a strong shock going through arms first, then running through almost every part of her. Fighting the numb nerve feeling that came soon after, she had tightened her hands and waited until the feeling came back.
Her calm demean was quite a save in these situations, even if her eyes were narrowed, she only froze when she felt the bolting shock, then silently swallowing to take away some numbness. When Yue saw a figure appearing from far away, her eyes slightly widened with relief. She turned to the small group.
"I'll be going now Mikan. Congratulations on being able to use your Alice, and don't mind what Jinno says, he's just a tight-ass." The three students gasped with widened eyes -Hotaru only with slightly widened eyes-, at the use of their calm classmate using such a word, it was unexpectedly a new discovery for them to hear Yue like that, especially since she added a stronger emphasis on the word. The bluenette bowed her head with a small smile, then lightly jogging to the figure.
"Natsume!" She chuckled lowly, wrapping her arms around the taller boy's neck. He sighed, almost all his anger leaving and hugged the smaller blue-haired girl back.
"Sorry, there was a tiny problem with Jinno." They let go and Yue began walking first from where Natsume was coming from, the ebony boy right next to her. He raised an eyebrow, sighed in his throat before turning his head to the front. "That's why you used that Alice? I can still feel the small electricity coming off from your body." He answered her questioned glance as she nodded slowly.
"Be careful.....you should know not to use it too much." He mumbled darkly, his slanted eyes narrowing at the ground with his hands in his pockets. Yue smiled and gently patted Natsume's arm, making him turn his head to her a bit. "Am fine Natsume, it's been a long time since I had used it anyway. Now it won't get too rusty." She chuckled with an eye smile.
Natsume nodded curtly after seconds of silence and grabbed her hand that was on his arm, walking in front of a silently chuckling Yue who noticed his ears almost a non-seeable darker color.
"Ruka's waiting for us." He mumbled at a faster pace, Yue nodding calmly even though her eyes were gleamed with happiness, her bunny on her shoulder sighing with a shake of the head before it sleepily plopped back.
"Ruka!" She softly yelled and lightly jogged to the small silver table where a waving smiling Ruka was sitting at, his rabbit in his arms. Natsume casually walking after her in a more slow pace, his hands now in his pockets once more as he stared at the close-eye smiling Yue grab a mug-cake that was on the table, Ruka laughing at her with his own mug-cake in front of him, Natsume's right next to where Yue's was. The stoic faced fire caster let out a small smile, feeling a comfortable and calm atmosphere flowing in as he sat down next to a laughing Ruka and smile talking Yue.

Grey Worlds
A mysterious incident occurred on a otherwise normal science centered world where all of the children from the age range of eight to sixteen suddenly vanished. “Where have their kids gone and will they ever return?” The now childless parents never got to really ask that question, because a strange new element replaced their lost children. This element slowly mutated the various animals that they once ruled over with their technology to the point that they were immune to their modern weaponry. The barren land of savages on a continent far away from theirs also had their children taken, but they easily mutated just like the beasts and only grew stronger thanks to the incident. A revolution of animals eventually took place after the mutations started to cause the animals to understand just how badly the humans ruined their lives and planet. Humans were the slowest to figure out how to use this strange new element to evolve, while their opponents were evolving and growing stronger by the day they couldn’t even surpass their modern technology. When humanity was on the brink of extinction a long forgotten event finally ended and their children finally started to return from the various worlds they were summoned to! It turns out that the mysterious new element that they didn’t know what to call was mana and that it’s everywhere in some fantasy planets. The children brought back a increase in technology and techniques to grow stronger with, which caused the humans to finally be able to build safe havens for their race. They grew stronger and started to finally adapt to their brand new environment. This is the story of a orphan who was taken away from his world, before he could gain a sense of attachment to the world. Who only has his older sister to care about and how he ends up adapting to the new world in front of him.------------------Dog notes by doggo First 'five' chapters aren't what the story is really about and is more of a prologue. The reason why some are separated into parts is because Doggo originally posted them as a entire chapter. The main setting is Ghost's actual world and not any foreign world. So this story was already posted once to another site or this site three years ago… and Dog is finally ending that three year hiatus! The explanation on why Dog was on a three year hiatus would of been written in the review section, but rrl doesn't allow self reviews. I'd have to create a alt just to self review which they obviously don't want even tho I'd not give myself any stars so its going to be here instead. The update schedule is a chapter a week till Dog get a editor and then two chapters a week till Dog gets enough money to pay for Dog’s bills. The final goal is to release a chapter every other day. Dog writes 4k word chapters so they are about twice as long as some of the other authors so every other day is actually more like once a day. ------------------- The part that was supposed to be the 'review' which Dog wont bother editing out repeat infomation since it wasn't supposed to go here in the first place. The first thing Dog will go over is what changed for the first 5 chapters, so that anyone who still remembers Dog's little novel and wants to continue from where Dog originally left off can decide whether or not to reread it. Also Dog is moving over to qidan simply because dog like the app they have. Dog won't go premium even if Qidan tells dog to and will simply move back to royalroad or create a blog. The things that changed over the years are mainly two important things. The first is that Dog changed the first person point of view to a third person, because Dog read a really bad first person novel and it reminded dog of dogs own novel. Dog also changed the thoughts of the character to be - - instead of italics. Finally dog changed chapter 3 completely to make the mc not seem like a homicidal maniac and introduced a important character in chapter 3.What happened to do in the three years that dog was away? Was dog at college and now needs money to eat? Was dog off in space after successfully becoming a astronaut and has now returned home with a completed novel or two? The answer is actually quite plain dog graduated from highschool and was supposed to only spend a year at dogs owners house to choose what major dog wanted to go to college for.Dog didn't do that and is still stuck with dogs owners and is sick of being a neet. Dog wants to move and buy doggy food, but dog is antisocial and doesn't want to work a simple 9 to 5 job for the rest of dogs life. Dog is a reader before dog is a author and the reason why dog got into writing was because dog wanted to write a novel without all the things dog finds annoying. Dog spent the first year reading various novels and dropping various novels. Dog is all caught up and has to much free time on dogs paws. The first year that Dog took off was the very same year that qidan came out so dog was naturally overloaded with free chapters. But now that pemium exists dog naturally has to limit the amount dog can read. Dog is addicted to reading like my very own readers and can understand your frustrations for dog disappearing for 3 years.Dog decided that dog will go back to writing 2 years ago. Dog wanted a decent stockpile incase dog has any other emergency so dog didn't post for a year but then dog decided to change the point of view which took another year.Dog has a patreon page https://www.patreon.com/mclaindog but there isn't any tiers there or goals till dog gets a editor. My final goal is to release a chapter every other day, but as long as Dog gets a editor Dog will do two free chapters a week.Dog will probably also make a kofi for anyone who just wants to send dog a tip and can't afford to donate money monthly while maybe having bonus chapters if the tip jar gets filled.
