《Zero Gravity / 無重力(Gakuen Alice)》【Chapter 5】Special Alice Star

The lunch was filled with whispers and glances when the small fragile ghostly figure of Yue gracefully strolled in through the doors, her usual long skirt and cardigan were replaced by a white long sleeved shirt puffiness in the sleeves and a collar tied, the edges of the shirt in a W form from the front and back, dark blue puffy shorts until her thighs and the usual brown boots with white and light pink stripped socks till above her knees.
Her bunny on her shoulder muffled its whiskers with its paws as it glanced around the lunchroom, as if in search for someone. It was strange for her to come to the lunch room, especially this crowded. Some students continued their own conversations while others still ended up glancing and whispering about her. Yue's sky-blue hair was moving in silky waves as she calmly turned her head to the sides, looking for a very loud familiar girl.
When the nanny robot began to alarm the kids of their first period, Yue caught the familiar backs of two students and smiled to herself while following them calmly.
"Yue-chan!!" Mikan smiled brightly, Hotaru and Yuu flinched and rapidly turned around, now finding the softly eye smiling Yue behind them before walking next to them.
"Uwah, Yue-san we couldn't sense you at all..." Yuu sweat dropped as Hotaru nodded. Yue chuckled lightly.
"That's normal don't worry." She turned back to Mikan that was diligently cleaning the dishes.
"Yue-chan you look so kawaii!! Just like a doll wah!" Mikan had sparkles in her eyes as she stared at the blinking Yue. Yue tilted her head and looked down before chuckling and raising her head again.
"Arigato Mikan." she close eye smiled as Mikan squealed at small Yue looked. Yuu laughed nervously while Hotaru stayed stoic with a sigh at how idiotic her best friend looked. Hotaru left and Yuu was about to leave as Yue leaned against the wall, staring in amusement at the very long pile of plates that Mikan was holding.
Yue sighed when Mochiage walked through the door with his own plates, having a distinguished feeling about what was going to happen. Alas, her premonition emotions never fail her. They bumped into each other rather roughly and a few plates fell to the floor, breaking in the process. The three students yelled in fright while Yue put the palms of her hands to her face, then opened a small hole through her lean fingers, a curious aqua eye peeking through.
Mikan had rapidly hidden herself behind the dishwasher as Yue chuckled lightly. Mochiage had used his alice and plates were now floating around. Yue's eyes followed a plate before poking another that was close to her as it fondled but kept on floating.
"Watch where you're going, no star." Mochiage haughtily stated, his eyes closed and hands on his hips. The bluenette blinked at the plate that slowly floated pass her. How interesting indeed.
Yue smiled when Mikan was staring in awe at the plates and how she said that alice's were amazing. Before the brunette passed her soap-filled arm by her nose, -Yue had to snort lowly at that-, and Mochiage's eyes widened as he turned to Mikan, just as she let out a gigantic sneeze, making even the calm Yue flinch. All the plates abruptly fell to the ground, shattering and breaking apart. Yue cringed and bent down slowly, sliding her back on the wall before turning her head down to the side, staring at where a small piece of plate was sticking out on her arm.

She sighed and wondered if she was prone to accidents ever since meeting Mikan. But then again she was always getting hurt ever since she was younger, must be a bad luck thing.
Mochiage was in shock and scared at what just happened before his eyes grew twice wider and he took a sharp intake of breath when he saw the small blue haired girl on the ground, rapidly taking out a small broken piece of plate, her long white sleeves now had a small spot of wet red blazing.
He instantly grew nervous for his life and stuttered while rapidly running to a calm Yue that slowly stood up. Obviously if either Natsume or Ruka found out that he had hurt her, they would kill the poor boy! Maybe Ruka would listen but Natsume sure as hell wouldn't care.
"Y-y-yue-san! Am so s-sorry, are y-you alright!?" He rapidly questioned with a worried look and hands held out to help as Yuu gasped slightly when he noticed the blood on Yue's arm. Mikan was getting told off by the nanny, not noticing what just happened.
"Am fine don't worry. It's just a scratch." She close-eye smiled. Mochiage and Yuu nodded unsurely but that reassuring smile of hers was quite persuasive. Even if it was actually a small hole and it was stinging like hell.
"Bye Mikan!" Yue softly yelled, hearing a "BYE YUE-CHAN!" from the loud girl, she chuckled lightly and bowed a bit to a still-worried Mochiage and Yuu as they blinked with a nervous small bow of their own. She held her arm tightly with her opposite hand and swiftly left the kitchen, her blue-cotton candy hair swaying gracefully, no footsteps and it was like the wind came and left, leaving no traces behind.
"Yue-chan." The doc sighed long and shook his head as Yue swiftly jumped onto the low medical white bed, raising her sleeves and putting her arm out as the doc strolled back with a medic box, opening it and taking out antidote and white gauge to hold a medical pad over the small but slightly deep hole.
"You were always prone to accidents. Or are you just clumsy?" He sighed while dabbing the medicine as she tried not to cringe.
"Honestly I don't know anymore." She chuckled lightly when he grinned a bit.
"I also need a new box. I can't find my bandages, my gauge somehow disappeared and the only thing I have left are those soft white fluffs." She pouted slightly, the doc laughing before nodding once, patting the pad over the now clean small wound. He grabbed the long white gauge from the box and began to wrap it gently but tightly around the arm and pad.
"They're where they always are." He thumb-pointed to the bottom shelf next to his cabinet as she nodded with a small grateful smile, jumping down with graceful movements in her body and calmly trotted over. The doc raised an amused eyebrow. He always wondered how her movements were so.....if he would compare her to anything, it would be the wind, a white weightless feather, a ghost, or a ballerina. Maybe even a heavenly figure if she weren't a kid. His thoughts were interrupted,
"Thank you for the box. I may be seeing you soon." She eye smiled and chuckled lightly while he let out a half smile with a shake of his head.
"Be careful alright." He eyed her steadily. She nodded with a small smile and bowed her head before calmly turning around and leaving quietly, once again the familiar calm aura and relaxing silence filled the infirmary as he sighed, still amused at how she made even aura's comfortable.

She hid the box where she usually did and closed the door to her room, jogging softly to where her premonition alice inside her directed her through to outside. She chuckled at the thought of her alice having a mind of its own, maybe they could have conversations? That would be quite entertaining to do. Though why does it feel slightly like being crazy. Yue let out a "pfft", putting her palm over her laughter at her thoughts.

"Natsume!" Yue gasped slightly as she bent down next to a panting Natsume. She already had a feeling as to why he was like this.
"Why are you here Yue...!?" Natsume gritted his teeth laying low, Yue following suit and holding him in her arms, the cool feel of her skin against his nervous and heated up temperature lowered his heartbeat to a calmer beat in a minute.
"I won't let him hurt you Natsume." Her calm whisper like voice firmly stated softly as she closed her aqua eyes slowly. He wrapped his arms around her torso, pulling her closer to him. The calm rhythmic soft beating of her heart calmed him into an almost relaxed state but he held his guard up just in case.
Yue, -without letting Natsume notice of course-, used her other alice and made an invisible barrier around them, making it so that they can see but they won't be seen. Kinda like a one of those opposite mirrors. They were both sideways against a big tree, Yue bent her head down to whisper into Natsume's ear.
"Natsume I made a barrier around us, we can't be seen from the outside ok?" She felt him stiffen and flinch slightly when she whispered directly next to his ear, in caution still. His temperature rose abruptly making Yue blink in confusion right before it automatically went back to normal when they heard the familiar voice of that person.
"Natsume!" It was faint at first but then he began to walk closer and closer, Natsume tensing with each step. Black shoes appeared first then his whole black-covered body as he stared directly to where they were behind the bushes and leaning against the thick giant tree. And in a split second he turned his head and looked around once more, walking away with brisk swift movements.
Once he was gone and out of sight, Yue sighed lightly and loosened her hold over Natsume, even though Natsume tightened his.
"Natsume he's gone." She smiled slightly when she noticed his reluctance to let go but he kept his poker-face and nodded, softly taking his arms away and sighing in slight relief, then leaned his back against the tree. He lazily raised his hand and tugged on a bunch of her soft blue hair, Yue smiled lightly since she knew this was his way of saying thanks at times when he couldn't just come out and say it. Oh dear pride.
She let her barrier fall just in the moment when a rather surprise gasp made them alert that they weren't alone. Yue calmly turned her head and chuckled lightly when she saw Mikan with a flushed red face, Natsume not bothering to acknowledge her presence but narrowed his closed eyes slightly while continuing to tug gently on Yue's hair, sometimes passing his fingers through, almost amused at how soft and silky they felt and swiftly passed by his fingers.
"What are you doing to Yue-chan, you pervert!?" Mikan yelled while pointing a rather not too discreet index pointer to a sighing tiredly Natsume. Yue tilted her head.
"He isn't doing anything Mikan." She smiled reassuringly.
"It's alright." She eye smiled. Mikan stuttered and slumped her shoulders down with a pout before abruptly yelling angrily at the irritated Natsume.
"Are you ignoring me?! You could at least say something back, you know!!" She yelled stomping on the ground with both feet, her arms swerving around in anger.
Yue glanced in amusement at a now glaring Natsume as he glared up at the glaring back Mikan that tried to look scary but failing miserably.
"Oh? So you're openly skipping class? It must be nice being the principal's student." Yue continued to pet her white purring bunny that was laying on her shoulder as she calmly turned around with a tilt of a head.
Three middle schoolers with blue uniforms, one with wavy dark greyish hair, another with spikey down hair, and the last was a female with light brown hair. Yue sighed softly, she knew they were trying to taunt, and with Natsume irritable, she wasn't sure if she was going to step in. Hey, she's nice but not Mother Teresa.
"Hey, she's that No star everyone's talking about." The brown spikey haired dude took a step forward and pointed at a bashful and nervous Mikan. Yue's eyes blinked in recognition as to why Mikan was in cleaning the dishes. Oh my! If Natsume ever found out about the wound.......let's just hope he doesn't.
"Oi oi, isn't that Yukishiro Yue!?" The girl took a step back with a stunned look. Under her palm, Yue felt Natsume on guard when both older boys turned their heads to the younger bluenette that calmly sat there with a sleeping bunny on her shoulder.
"Great. Another principal's pet. Just so you know, we don't consider Dangerous Ability Type's like you to be a special star!" Yue blinked calmly at his rant towards them just as Natsume stood up ignoring the older student, and put his hand down, Yue reaching and grabbing it as he pulled her up and tightened his hold, swiftly walking away from the stunned group and a rather angry grayhead.
Yue patted her bunny head for her to wake up, her light red eyes blinked sleepily and she yawned wide-mouthed, making Yue chuckle lowly. The grey-haired student growled when he noticed he was being ignored.
"Stop acting so proud just because people call you a genius! Really, the only reason you're a principal student is because your Persona's favorite." He proudly smirked when he saw Natsume halt, even if he wanted to say things to that blue-haired calm girl, he knew absolutely nothing, and almost everything about her was a mystery to the student body.
Yue calmly turned her head around just as red-yellow flames appeared on the older males hand and arm, him falling to the ground in shock and scared of the heat that was growing warmer rather rapidly, the middle-school girl yelling in fright and Mikan freezing in shock and horror.
"He's using his alice!" The brown haired boy yelled in surprise. Yue narrowed her eyes slightly and turned her head around to stare into the back head of Natsume. She squeezed his hand softly once and the flames flickered, almost dying.
"Natsume." Her soft whisper voice had a slight edge to it and he clicked his tongue before the flames extinguished and vanished, the pained-middle school boy holding and patting his arm in great relief.
"Dammit! Oi Persona! Natsume is over-"
"Call him if you want. I'll burn you all into ash before he comes." Natsume curtly turned his head around to glare at the flinching brown-haired boy. Yue sighed and shook her head discreetly. The ebony haired boy noticed and glanced at her, seeing the soft look on her face made him turn back around and tugging her hand, gently pulling her away from the irritating people.
"Wait you bastard!" Yue and Natsume both turned their heads around to see Mikan being held by the grey angry boy with desperate angry eyes as he held with his other hand one of her long brown pigtails. Yue blinked in amusement.
"Take a look at this! Don't you care what happens to your classmate!?" He yelled and began to tug and tug on Mikan's pigtail, her flailing around yelling what nots.
Yue put her small fist to her curled up mouth, letting her loud internal laughter turn into small giggles against her fist. This situation would have been dangerous if it weren't for how comical they made it appear.
Natsume shot an amused glance at Yue, wondering what she found so funny before returning his stoic calm eyes to the dude.
He smirked. Yue sighed low with a soft smile on her lips, her eyes amused still looking at the reactions of the surprised grey-haired boy and the angry yet scared Mikan, her eyes now white ovals and blue depressed lines across her face at how Natsume has just declared that he doesn't care.
"Y...Yue-chan?" Mikan stuttered with the same expression, Natsume shot her a light glare before tugging on Yue's hand, resuming his now light jog with his back to Yue as the bluenette swiftly turned her head around, her blue hair strands swaying and some glistening brighter in the sunlight. She sparred Mikan a small bow of her head with a small wave of her free hand.
She knew that Mikan's alice would protect her from any alices.......aand that a familiar shadow-caster would help her if things looked bad.
Mikan's mouth fell open rectangular form and silence took over the group. Yue turned her head around and now concentrated on trying to not fall on any stone or just pla- "Nng!" Her knees and hand met the dirt floor since her other one had tugged Natsume and he was caught off guard even though he didn't fall.
"You're so clumsy." He sighed and leaned down, his other hand reaching to grab hers. She pouted slightly but raised her hand, cleaned it on her blue puffed shorts and gently but tightly gripped his larger hand. He pulled her easily up and waited while she dusted off her knees, then raised her head and gave him one of her usual am-alright-now- eye smiles.
He turned around, letting one of her hands go but still keeping the grip on her other one and resumed walking, only this time calmer.
"Don't think I didn't see you avoiding using strength with your arm." He stated once they were close to the familiar dark classroom. Yue sighed softly and glanced to the windows that were across classrooms and the long wall they were walking through slowly.
"Got it fixed already, no big deal." She calmly turned around and smiled lightly, hoping he would let it go.
"Where did you get it? Who would dare hurt you......i'll slaughter them." He whispered the last part to himself, narrowing his eyes slightly while staring in front of him.
Yue blinked and chuckled a bit before patting his arm that was holding her hand with her free hand.
"It happened during lunch time when I went to visit Mikan, there was a slight accident but I added medicine and some tight gauge so it would heal faster." She explained with a small smile, Natsume scoffing inside his throat.
"Now enough about that. How about some mug-cakes for our 'special star' later? I'll save Ruka's so we can eat them together." She close eye smiled and let out a chuckle when Natsume scoffed, half of his lips curled up into a small smirk.
"You're in no place to talk." He firmly stated with a full smirk now since Yue was a special star as well. He had her cornered. Even though it was slightly different in his mindset. They didn't notice they had already arrived until Yue glanced and spoke.
"Were here." She gave Natsume an encouraging small smile as she felt his body stiffen and full on guard, raising his head to the doors and opening them, his hand on Yue's never loosening, same likewise. The dark classroom and silent would have been quite relaxing and a perfect place to sleep if it weren't for the tense aura and atmosphere that rarely left. But Yue at this moment could care less.
She grabbed her white giant pillow from a corner of the room and sat next to an already sitting Natsume whose hands where in his pockets. She held onto the pillow and sighed in relief and a satisfied yet sleepy smile made way to her pale features as she snuggled into the soft fat pillow that was now half on the desk and half not, her white bunny sprawled on her shoulder and on the pillow. Stars depending on behavior? Hah! She wondered if sleeping on a pillow in class was normal, but then again nothing in the world seemed normal.
She chuckled lightly when she felt the amused gaze Natsume was burning into her face that was turned towards him. Not literally. And besides, since Persona wasn't here yet, the classroom looked less tense than usual. So she just slowly relaxed her body, trusting Natsume on the job knowing he'll wake her up once the nice oll' teacher comes.
