"wow" yoonha said looking around and running through the field that was covered in flowers.
"i missed this.." kihyun watched as the short haired girl bent down and reached out to a few of the flowers that grew on the ground.
"when.. when was the last time you went here?" kihyun asked.
"about a year ago i think?" yoonha said without turning away from the flower that she gently held in between her fingers.
kihyun smiled at the thought.
as far as kihyun's mind could go, he would've thought that he was the reason yoonha ever came back to this place. or maybe it was just that the field was a bit too far and that yoonha didnt want to waste her time by going there. kihyun would never know. but he does know that bringing her here with him caused her to smile, and not just any plain sweet smile she'd give him in the bus or the convenience store. it was a big joyful smile, so big that the smile even reached her eyes.
———
kihyun breathed.
he and yoonha were sitting next to a tree watching the hue of the vast sky above then shift from a bright warm orange to a dark and cool blue with stars.
"we should probably head back now," yoonha said standing up and streching her arms before turning to kihyun.
"its getting late.." kihyun stared at yoonha, a million thoughts going through his mind. he nodded and stood up before they both walked back to their long journey to the nearest bus stop.
kihyun would be lying if he said he didn't develop feelings that are more than friends for the latter. she definitely wasnt his ideal type but that just proves to him that there's no perfect girl that he could ever wish for and that sometimes your heart just goes for what it wants without asking your brain for a little permission.

"kihyun?" kihyun quickly snapped back into reality as he looked at yoonha.
"yeah?"
"i said we're at the bus stop" yoonha said a long with a soft chuckle.
"..hey yoonha" kihyun said mustering up all his courage.
yoonha hummed in question as she looked at kihyun. kihyun felt his chest burn, anxiety was taking over him but it didnt stop his mouth and his heart at all.
"..i know we've only met like a month ago" kihyun muttered.
the bus tires squeaked as it came to a rough stop at the station. the sound of the doors opening for the passengers to get off and on the stop.
"but i like you. i dont know how it started or anything but i really real-"
kihyun was taken by surprise when yoonha quickly cut him off with her soft lips connecting with his. the short haired girl's arms were placed around kihyuns neck while the blonde ginger male held her waist tightly like it was the last time he was going to see her.
yoonha broke the kiss and the two stared into each other's eyes, looking for answers and feelings.
"does that.. answer your statement?" yoonha said with a tint of pink on her cheeks and a small smile.
kihyun chuckled and held her closer before giving her tip of nose a small peck. "definitely."
"does that mean im mrs. potter now?!" yoonha suddenly exclaimed out of no where.
kihyun and yoonha both had a moment of silence, the sound of the bus leaving clearly audible. the two broke into fits of laughter, both bright smiles planted on their faces.
"you're the harry to my potter." yoonha said and smiled.
"did that even make sense?"
"i hope it did."
kihyun really couldn't be more grateful to yoonha for calling him out as harry potter on the day they both met.

Forced Development (What does it truly mean to live a fulfilling life?)
To get things started I would like to admit that this story does not bring much new to the table when it comes to the over-saturated Litrpg genre in terms of things like mechanics and power systems. Then what exactly am I trying to bring to the table with this work? A nice slow-paced novel about people maturing and growing older think of it as the re: zero or jobless reincarnation of Litrpgs. A story that tries to take into consideration how a worldwide system would affect the economics and culture of a world. A story that is much more character-focused than the typical heavy progression-focused novels this genre is known for. The RPG system, like any good power system, is there to actually explore the themes of the story and not just as a plot device for characters to get stronger. This is a story where we will see the growth of the Mc from being a baby to when he dies of old age. With plenty of heart-racing actions and intriguing plot developments along the way. Exploring themes like; What does it mean to improve at something and what does it mean to mature as a person? How does magic, the constant threat of monsters and people so much stronger than the average joe that they can destroy countries affect one's culture both on the micro and the macro scale? How people are affected by the culture in general? Generational trauma Nature vs Nurture Talent vs hard work What is morality, society, and people's opinions on both? What does it mean to be human and what does it mean to be alive in the context of a world with multiple sapient species vastly different from one another in basic biology? All these questions are going to be explored from multiple angles using the system as a catalyst for those discussions. So if any of does questions sound interesting to you what are you waiting for, I'm sure you are going to love this story. PS - Chapter come out every Friday at about the same time.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
