lights.
always illuminating the dark skies as the night progresses. everyday, often the same as yesterday that every second spent, i know what happens next. exhausting as it is, nothing's new.
rain starts dripping from the grey skies and i knew that i have not brought any umbrellas along. as my pace was about to quicken, a sudden halt of the rain did not drop nor drizzle onto my shoulders. i looked up and an umbrella was sheltering me.
i turned around and found him, looking at me with a feeling of abandonment. the way his eyes stared to how his hair was wet. i wanted to escape him.
"jiyeon, c-come back."
because, simply because falling in love with him was the biggest mistake of my life.
"c-changkyun..." i ran into his arms and embraced him. tears poured from my eyes and began to sob. his free arm wraps around mine mumbling little sorries and telling me that it's was his fault for taking his frustration out on me.
"i just didn't want to lose joonwoo... and i know for sure that i didn't want to lose you. cause jiyeon... i- i love you." i gaze up at him, who was staring at me with that look in his eyes, that he meant it. he cups my face, with his eyes almost in tears.
"i didn't want myself to get into this mess." i said. "i simply accepted for joonwoo." i halted. "but why did i end up falling for you? and loving joonwoo like a son? why did i think that we were going to have this future together?"
"i thought that too."
"but we have to bring joonwoo back to his parents..." i said, digging my face into his hand.
"we'll start a future together." changkyun blurts out. "we can have as many kids as you want."
i give him a faint smile. "stop trying to make us feel better. let's just cry it out."

Rise for the Sky [Slow-Pace Multi-Lead Dungeon Crawler]
Sixty people have awoken at the bottom of a one hundred floor dungeon. Together they must confront the terror of monsters and seek the answers to why they are here. Expectations: This story is written from multiple perspectives, male and female. Most chapters are a single person, but there will be chapters where there are a couple of quick scenes with different people. The story does take place in a dungeon, but there is no leveling system. This a realistic take on the classic litRPG and iskai tropes written like a traditional novel. There is a profanity warning because I wish to be natural with how people talk and cursing is a thing people do. So it will happen where it makes sense. Gore is warned because this is a realistic take, and people will be torn apart by monsters. I don't plan to be overly detailed with it but be warned it will happen. Updates Every Monday. Chapters will be between 3,000 to 5,000 words. Fulfill Patreon goals to increase updates
8 198A Dungeon Tested
Its a hard life balancing all the things a successful dungeon should be doing. Will our newest addition to the dungeon race even survive let alone make it to the top where dungeons such as the megafauna roam? Or will our main character suffer in the dust till some inauspicious and ignoble death at the end of some F-rankers sword? Note this is me having some fun while I wait for new releases of dungeon stories. Feel free to comment on that basis. I will be keeping the first few chapters slow so as to give me plenty to build upon later. I have tentatively given this the gore tag for now. With that in mind "Let the games begin".

8 206The Crows and the Plague
As the Black Death ravages Medieval Europe, the ominous Plague Doctors (commonly called "Crows") may be the only thing standing between Christendom and extinction. There is no cure for the Plague, so all the Crows can do is stop the spread of the disease, even as the monstrous Vermin seek to spread it on purpose. But not everyone understands just how necessary the Crows and their often brutal methods really are. .............................................................................. This story is an alternate history/low fantasy story taking place in Medieval Europe. Rather than elves, goblins, and orcs, the fantasy elements in this story are generally things people in the Medieval era would have actually believed in, some exaggerated just a bit more for flavor.#thecrowsandtheplague
