day - february 2nd

i felt the smooth and soft texture of the bed. my eyes open and landed upon the ceiling. my head turned to my left and noticed changkyun. he was sitting on a chair and his upper half sleeping soundly on the edge of the bed. his hand was out, holding mine.

i really hope i didn't worry him...

"changkyun," i whispered. his eyelids shot open and jumped from his spot. his hand still in mine, he looks at me. "come sleep next to me, this is your bed. i feel bad looking at you sleeping that way."

"no, i'm okay." he responds, smiling. "i'm fine. but if you say so..."

"just come here."

"yes, ma'am." he slowly lets go of my hand, and walks over to the other side of the bed. he pulls the sheets and gets in the bed. he sighs and faces me.

"are you okay? you fainted and i was honestly just worried about you."

"yeah, i'm fine. just scared and overwhelmed."

"i'm really sorry, jiyeon. about ahra... i had no idea she would visit out of all days..."

"she was something... else."

"i didn't mean to, but i heard your conversation with ahra..."

he chuckles. "you deserved to know, anyways. she barged in unannounced and started going insane."

"she doesn't deserve you... changkyun."

"..."

"you have been a good person, to me and joonwoo included. you were always worried and putting others before yourself. that's an admirable trait."

"you're pretty admirable, too..."

"we're talking about you here..."

"but i want to talk about you."

"i'm just going to ignore you." i voiced, my back facing changkyun and looking out at the window. i turned around and ended up facing changkyun. his eyes widen as we made eye contact.

"i didn't expect you making the first move here, ms. jiyeon," he says, with a flirty expression. "and you said you were going to ignore me."

"shut up and sleep. and to think i was worried about you in the beginning..."

"now that's cruel." he pouts, giving me a puppy look. he chuckles and a heavy sigh escaped his lips. "so... are we gonna hold hands while we sleep?" he puts out his hand towards me, smiling.

"no thanks," i said as i slowly put my hand on top of his. "go sleep."

"....let me look at you while you sleep first."

"changkyun..."

"yes, ma'am. closing my eyes and sleeping it is."
