"make sure you take good care of yourself, okay?"

"mommy..."

"make sure you finish all your food, sleep well, put on sunscreen, and don't be shy to tell your teacher what you want."

"daddy, mommy is worrying again."

"you're going on a trip with your class, without mommy and daddy. of course, she's going to be worried."

joonwoo stares at changkyun and slowly turns his head to face me. "mommy, i'm a big boy. i will make sure i'll come back in one piece." he pats me on the head and gives me a kiss.

"hey, no fair! i want a kiss too." i heard changkyun whine behind me. i got up from kneeling and looked at him. "you're getting no kiss." i playfully slapped him on the shoulder and he rubbed it in pain.

"stop being a flirt in front of joonwoo. you're going to be a bad influence on him." he pouts and gives me a puppy dog look, as if he wants me to take that statement back.

"mommy?" my eyes met with joonwoo.

"yes joonwoo?"

"you're staying here and keeping daddy company while i'm gone, right?"

i looked at changkyun. "uhh, i don't know yet. maybe..."

and let me tell you... a week without joonwoo is going to be a week full of chaos.
