"ride for two?" the operator questions changkyun as we waited at the front.
"yes." his deep voice responds with a placid tone.
"your girlfriend?" the operator interrogates, chuckling in a jesting manner.
changkyun brushes the back of his hand on mine, and proceeds to intertwine them casually. "something like that."
this time, his voice sounding faint and meek. he began to look at my visage, with a heartfelt and genuine look on his face. he looks back up to the operator and mouthes a faint thank you.
both of our feet began to saunter to one of the cable cars, his hand still clinging on mine. my heart vigorously throbs, as if it would burst out of my chest.
my. heart. throbbing?
impossible, changkyun is a complete stranger to me. amidst it all, i barely have no clue about him. his birthday. his age. his life. nothing.
how can a stranger... an attractive one at that... make me feel things?
"hey, are you okay? you've been standing there for a while."
coming back to reality, i felt that my hand was no longer occupied. i looked up to see changkyun motioning for me to enter before the cable car starts moving.
shaking my head, i replied back. "no i'm completely fine."
he extends his hand for me to hold. "i noticed you looking at your hand before. were you sad that i let go of your hand?" following after a smirk, which was utterly unfair.
"you're a sly one, mr. im, did anyone tell you that you're such a flirt?"
he chuckles, "just get in."
surrendering, i took his hand and entered, with the operator closing the door behind me.
