《debut love ; kihyun ff》END

~ a couple of weeks later ~
"i miss doing this." kihyun told y/n, sipping his drink. the two were sitting on her porch while snacking; it was their thing, after all.
"you had two tough weeks of recording. i don't understand why you still wanna come over."
"to spend time with you, silly. can i not spend time with my girlfriend?"
"i know that, but you must be so tired from everything. i don't know how you can handle all of this. you are like superman."
"everyone's tired, especially changkyun. i think he is napping-"
"hyung!" the two looked to see who was yelling and saw the other boys running towards them.
"i guess they aren't too tired to come over." she mumbled under her breath, chuckling.
"what?" kihyun asked, confused but a little mad that they had to ruin his and y/n's time together.
"look, you're in trouble!" changkyun gave them his phone. the couple leaned forward to look at it.
"what? who did this?" kihyun asked them, looking up at the boys, then looking back at the phone.
"debut love? that sounds so stupid for a news article." she added on, rolling her eyes. "this is what my father didn't want."
"actually, that sounds pretty cute." kihyun told her, looking at her.
she laughed, shaking her head. "seriously? whatever."
"it's accurate, not gonna lie." jooheon added on.
"we're dead meat." she mumbled, putting her hand on her head. just then, a car pulled up into the garage, startling everyone. hyungwon and his wife came out of the car and walked to the group.
"y/n, you invited everyone, hmm?" hyungwon asked, standing next to her while her mother walked into the house.
"aha, yeah."

"well, i'll be inside if you need me." he nodded and walked into the house. she turned to the boys, looking at them shocked.
"why didn't you tell him?" jooheon asked her. "he'll find out anyway!"
"i don't know how to tell him, i'm scared."
"but it won't be bad right? it is just one article." changkyun pointed out.
shownu rolled his eyes. "one article turns into hundreds real quick. everyone will find out soon."
"they can always deny it; it won't be too bad." jooheon argued.
"well, here's three more articles." minhyuk showed his phone to the others after refreshing it.
y/n sighed and facepalmed herself. "stupid reporters."
all of a sudden, the front door opened. they all turned around and saw hyungwon with his phone in his hand. he didn't seem too happy.
"y/n, kihyun, come here." he said, gesturing with his fingers. the two obeyed and walked towards him, nervous about what was to come.
"so, i've been getting these emails from reporters saying that yoo kihyun is seeing someone." he started, showing his phone to the two and scrolling the page to make them see the endless emails. "and that someone is suspected to be chae hyungwon's daughter. what did i say about scandals?"
"i'm sorry." the couple apologized, bowing their heads. hyungwon just sighed.
"what should i do? should i say yes, my daughter is dating a freshly debuted idol? oh my goodness. you guys are still young, and they're finding out that teenagers are dating."
"we're sorry, dad." y/n apologized. "but we have no words. you should do whatever you feel is appropriate, but don't break us up."
"kihyun, what did i say when you two first got together? what was the one thing i told you not to do?"

"hurt her." he replied.
"y/n, do you feel hurt in any way?"
"no, but i'm just confused," she answered, fidgeting her fingers.
"well, there's your answer. i'm not breaking you two up, but i will be telling the reporters that the news is fake. just be more careful from now on, alright?"
"thank you, dad!" she ran into hyungwon's arms and hugged him tightly. he hugged her back, chuckling.
"okay, i'll be inside now. all of you scoot closer to the door, so you aren't exposed much."
he went inside the house and closed the door behind him. the others heard everything hyungwon told kihyun and y/n, and they all sat closer to the door.
kihyun and y/n looked at each other and smiled. the two hugged each other tightly, thankful that they were still together.
"i'm so sorry y/n." he whispered in her ear.
"it is not your fault; it's okay." she replied, letting go of the hug.
"you two make me sad." jooheon complained. "i wish i could do that to someone."
"let's hug." changkyun said, pulling jooheon towards him and hugging him. they mimicked the way kihyun and y/n were hugging and made everyone else laugh.
"haha, you guys are so funny." kihyun told them sarcastically, as the two sat down in their place. he looked at y/n and put his hand on hers.
"so, this is debut love, right?" he asked, smiling.
"oh, stop it, that sounds weird." she replied, laughing and rolling her eyes.
"it's cute, though. i'll change it to your contact name, in fact." he took his phone out of his pocket and did what he said. he showed her the new contact name, which made her giggle.
while everyone else was laughing and talking to each other, she just looked at them. remembering where she was last year made her a bit surprised. in almost a year, she made new friends and got a boyfriend. some drama could've been avoided then, but wouldn't that make it a bit boring?
despite the good and bad, however, she was still satisfied with the outcome. her friends were able to accomplish their goals and debut, while her other friends got another opportunity to train as the same group again.
kihyun noticed that she was silent, and he decided to pull her closer to him. he put his arm around her waist, drawing her body closer to his. she looked up at him after spacing out, a bit confused. he smiled back, gazing at her with precious eyes. she blushed at the eye contact and placed her head on his shoulder, while he still kept his arm around her, not letting go.
i love this boy so much. she thought to herself, smiling. debut love; it feels so great.

The Card Thief of Culnivar
Deep with the cozy kingdom of Daeton, among the generation-old farmlands and villages, a young farmer’s daughter stumbles upon a dead man. His elaborate clothing has been torn to ribbons, yet his skin remains unblemished. His face is peaceful, and tucked into the hand lying across his chest can be seen a solitary playing card. He is a Ludum Haeres. The last remnant of a Summoner. Numbered among those few capable of changing their destinies. The unseen rulers of the world known as Vesperia, and one of the most powerful creatures in existence. The woman knows none of this. And so, she picks up the card... This is my third novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the second being "The Dawnfire Archives". This story is something of a test in a new genre, that of CardLIT. We'll see how well it succeeds as the story continues. It takes place in a different setting than my other tales, with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.

Choice: An Important Thing
Choice. An important thing is it not? We always make choices. Every day of every week of every month (of every year), we do “choices”. I want to show you how important it is and I would gladly welcome the attention. Free Your Mind
A journey through the mind can be a mixture of the good, the bad, the pure, and the evil. Free Your Mind is a collection of poems and short stories that I've written over the years. As of now, this book is still in progress, but I've planned to release at least 25 to 30 chapters minimum for Free Your Mind. Hopefully you enjoy reading through the works already published for this book, and I hope you'll stick around for what's to come in the future. If you have any comments, ideas, critiques, etc. please let me know! I'm always open to what people have to say about my work. Free Your Mind is a way for me to dabble into releasing my writings for the public to read. And hopefully, if all goes decent with this book, I'll continue to upload different works alongside this. Note: Currently the cover work for Free Your Mind isn't mine. I plan to upload an original design once I've completed the chapters for this book.
