"you what?" kihyun asked, shocked.
"y-yeah. i actually liked y/n for a long time now." jooheon replied, scratching the back of his neck.
"i can't believe this. how can we like the same girl?"
"i've liked her ever since a couple of months ago. i realized i had feelings for her when her and shin hoseok started to date. i was getting jealous every time i would see them together, and every time she would talk about him."
"i could tell you were very overprotective over her at the time."
"but hyung, i don't know what to tell you, other than y/n is my girl."
"what makes you think that? just because you liked her longer than i have doesn't mean that she's yours all of a sudden."
"obviously, the bond me and her share is way closer and stronger than your bond with her."
"whatever. just because you're finally the same age as i doesn't mean that you own everyone and everything."
"we'll find out."
jooheon stood up and walked away from kihyun. kihyun felt so many negative emotions at the moment, some of them being mad and jealous. who does he think he is? he thought to himself, shaking his head.
~ time skips ~
"hyung, is it just me, or is kihyun hyung and jooheon acting weird?" changkyun asked shownu, as the two sat on his bed while writing down lyrics.
"i have no idea. if they got into a fight, they would resolve it somehow."
since kihyun and jooheon both shared the same bunk bed, kihyun decided to sleep on minhyuk's, which was the bed across his top bunk.
"are you seriously going to sleep now?" minhyuk asked, climbing onto kihyun's bunk with a journal.

"yes. i'm tired," kihyun replied, tucking himself to sleep.
"hyung, let him do whatever he wants to do." jooheon told minhyuk, glaring at kihyun.
"can't you shut up for once?" he sat up, glaring back at jooheon.
"oh, and what are you gonna say to make my birthday worst?"
"it's not your birthday anymore. it's past midnight, so shut up with the birthday crap."
"you guys have been bickering with each other all night." shownu complained. "what's up with you two?"
kihyun and jooheon just looked at each other, both knowing that they can't say anything.
"nothing." jooheon replied.
"well, you're the one who made it into a big deal in the first place." kihyun mumbled, lying back on the bed.
"you know what? get out if you want to mumble more stuff. i don't wanna vibe with your negativity." jooheon snapped. "kihyun."
"fine! i will!" kihyun jumped off of the bed. he put on a hoodie and grabbed his phone, then walked straight to jooheon, face to face. "and you better know your place in this household."
kihyun stormed off and walked out of the dorm, slamming the door shut.
"what was that for?" changkyun asked jooheon, looking at him. jooheon just sighed.
"don't worry about it. let's continue, and whatever is left, make him do it all by himself."
kihyun walked out of the building, not knowing where to go. he was a bit scared about going alone on the streets this late at night.
"that punk." he mumbled, putting his hands in his hoodie pocket. he stopped at a stoplight, thinking of places that were still open. he also felt lonely and lost; not having at least one of the boys by his side made him feel out of it.
he reached for his phone from his pocket and decided to text someone he knew that would make him feel better.
y/n, i need to see you.

THE TIME MACHINE (Completed)
The Time Machine is a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells, published in 1895 and written as a frame narrative. Wells is generally credited with the popularization of the concept of time travel by using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposely and selectively forwards or backward in time. The term "time machine", coined by Wells, is now almost universally used to refer to such a vehicle. The Time Machine has been adapted into three feature films of the same name, as well as two television versions, and a large number of comic book adaptations. It has also indirectly inspired many more works of fiction in many media productions.
