y/n's phone buzzed. She looked to see who texted her.

y/n, i know you're at the boys' dorm, but could you come home?

she replied.

why?

: you have to come with me to the meeting. we will be discussing the set up of the final stage of the show.

: with the crew and everything?

: yes.

: okay, i'll be home as soon as possible

"i'm so sorry, but i have to go; my dad texted me and said that he needs to take me to a meeting." she said, standing up from the couch while grabbing her little purse.

"that's a bummer." jooheon pouted while the rest of them stood up to say their goodbyes to her.

"happy birthday again, jooheon." she hugged him one more time before she exited the dorm. he hugged her back tightly, happy that she did so much for his little party.

y/n waved to the others and walked out of the dorm.

"thank you for the present!" he yelled.

"you're welcome!"

he closed the door, and kihyun sighed. jooheon noticed but didn't want to say anything. everyone walked into the living room and sat on the couch. some of them eyeballed jooheon's gifts and the others just stared at the ceiling.

"you guys wash the dishes, i'm tired." kihyun ordered shownu, changkyun, and minhyuk. they nodded and headed for the kitchen to clean up. he leaned on to the couch, sighing and closing his eyes.

"what's with the sighs, hyung?" jooheon asked, scooting closer to him on the couch, worried.

"oh, it's nothing."

"are you sure?"

"yeah. i'm just tired, that's all."

"but earlier, you weren't like this. come on, hyung, tell me. do you not trust me?"

"i do. i just, ugh."

"what?"

"don't tell anyone what i'm about to tell you, okay?"

"why?"

"they'll definitely tease me, and i don't want to go through that right now."

"do they not know about it either?"

"do you want me to tell you or not?."

"yes, sorry."

"alright, so here's the thing. i like y/n."

"what?"

"i know, it sounds crazy. i don't know why, i guess, when we were both cooking yesterday for your birthday, i guess that's when everything flipped."

"it was just yesterday?"

"yeah. now i have this feeling where i miss her so much to the point it's driving me crazy."

"i can't believe it."

"you sound offended. why?"

"hyung. i like her too."
