y/n walked into the big room, where group b was now performing their choreography. she sat in one of the seats in the back row and smiled, watching the five of them sing, dance, and rap.

once the performance ended, she silently clapped, not wanting the camera to capture any sounds she made.

jooheon texted y/n after him, and his group ate dinner, resting in the dorm.

y/n sat on her desk while doing her homework and looked at the calendar. september 30 marks today. she thought to herself. her eyes widened, remembering that jooheon's birthday was coming up in a few days.

she decided who to text about the event since the others were planning on giving him a surprise feast for his birthday. kihyun was the first one to pop into her head since he was the one who cooked in the group.

"i need to bring a birthday present." she thought aloud, facepalming herself for not asking him of jooheon's interests. i'm his friend, i should know what he likes and doesn't like.

"should i ask one of the other guys?" she asked, picking up her phone and going through the others' contacts. "i'll just ask one of them tomorrow."

y/n thought of someone she could talk to about it. changkyun is the same age as him. he has to know.
