"how long are you gonna lie to them?" shownu asked y/n, a bit irritated.

"what are you talking about?"

"come on now. i know you and shin hoseok are dating. you are obviously wearing his hoodie. look at how big it is!"

"how do you know? i could be wearing someone else's."

"i saw you two this morning before first period when he gave you his hoodie. also, every senior has been talking about you guys. you and he are like a hot topic now."

"o-okay, maybe we are dating. but please don't tell the others?"

"y/n, they know you're lying. i haven't said anything, but it's the right thing if you tell them."

"what did they say?"

"they keep on saying that you're up to something. it is better to tell them now than later; if they find out from someone else, then that's messed up."

"i guess you're right. but, i thought you guys said that you all would be mad if i had a boyfriend?"

"what? who said that?"

"him." she pointed to changkyun.

"you're kidding, right; do not believe what the kid says, he doesn't know any better. you're stupid for believing him in the first place."

her sensitive side was slowly getting to her because the tone of his voice made her feel somewhat ashamed.

she turned around and left shownu standing. he called and called for her, but she just ignored him. she ran to the girl's bathroom and locked herself in a stall, crying. she knew that she shouldn't have hidden it from them in the first place, and she never thought of the consequences it would've caused.

shownu just shook his head and walked back into the cafeteria. he sat down where he sat before and put his head down.

"where's y/n?" jooheon asked shownu.

"she ran away."

"why?"

"i think i went too harsh on her. i forgot she's sensitive."

"what did you guys talk about?" minhyuk asked.

"none of your business."

the others just looked at the ground, with nothing else to say.

"if anything, it should be y/n to talk about what happened," he said with a big sigh.

the lunch bell rang, and all the students went to their electives. y/n washed her face and ran out of the bathroom, hoping that none of the boys saw her.

"y/n!" she heard someone call her. she crossed her fingers hoping it wasn't one of her friends, and eventually, he caught up with her. she looked at who it was, and it was changkyun. he had her bag in his hand and gave it to her.

"i heard you ran away after you and shownu hyung was talking about something." he started. "are you okay?"

she just sighed. "yeah i guess. i just overreacted."

he looked at her face, which he could tell that she was crying because of her red eyes.

"i know sometimes he can be scary, but he feels just as sorry for making you sad or whatever you're feeling right now."

they arrived at her classroom, and he hugged her.

"if you have any problems, you know i'm here to listen." he told her, patting her back. "by the way, i still want to know who's hoodie you're wearing."

"i'll tell you guys after school," she replied, letting go of the hug. his face lit up.

"really?"

"really."

"you have to promise me that i'll be the first one to know."

"that, i can't guarantee. i'll promise that i'll tell you later today."

he pouted. "fine."

they both walked away from each other, y/n going inside her classroom and changkyun going to his. she saw hoseok at his desk, but he didn't look so happy. she quickly got to her seat and sat down, unpacking her materials right away.

"who did you hug outside?" hoseok asked, being annoyed.
