"sorry to change the subject, but when did you start learning to cook?" shownu asked y/n. "the bibimbap you made for us the other night was delicious!"

"mm, maybe last year when i turned thirteen? it's my mom's recipe."

"did you make anything for the other group too, or just us?" minhyuk asked.

"keep this a secret, but i only made some for you. in the other group, one of the members was really rude to me when i offered them food, so i never bothered after that."

the five boys frowned, hearing the sad news.

"really? who was it?" jooheon questioned.

"i don't wanna say who it was, but he's in the other group."

there was a knock on the door, and minhyuk stood up to open it. hyungwon was there, waiting to pick up his daughter.

"y/n, i finished my business. ready to go home?"

"yep!" y/n stood up and walked towards her father. she then turned to the boys once more. "it was nice talking to you guys!"

"bye y/n!" the boys waved to her.

hyungwon bowed to the boys. "thank you for keeping her busy." the door closed, and changkyun suddenly started to jump and punch the air.

"hey, calm down!" jooheon scolded, walking towards the youngest one.

"i can't believe i got her number and a picture. what can go wrong today?" changkyun asked, pulling on his hair.

"damn, it's only been a couple of days, and you like her that much?" minhyuk teased. changkyun nodded.

"and can't you believe she's going to our school next year? i can't wait to show her around the campus and spend time with her!"

the older ones just shook their heads.

"and he's fifteen for a reason." kihyun said, chuckling. changkyun slapped his arm, making kihyun widened his eyes.

"hey, who do you think you are, im changkyun?" he raised his voice, scolding the youngest.

"i'm sorry, i'm sorry!" changkyun apologized, scared of what his hyung would do next. the rest of them just laughed at him, seeing how frightened he was. after figuring out what happened, his ears suddenly got red.

"you guys are mean!"

~ time skips ~

"jooheon. tell changkyun to stop texting y/n. dinner is ready." kihyun ordered. changkyun clearly heard it because he was at the dinner table with everyone else. he chose to ignore him; he and y/n were having an enjoyable conversation about his experience as a freshman.

"changkyun, get off your phone." jooheon told him, bumping his shoulder.

"okay, let me just tell her bye and i'll start eating!" changkyun texted some words and then turned off his phone. "we definitely need to invite her for dinner."

"remember, her dad is the founder of the company. we can't just ask her, we also have to ask her dad." shownu said, stuffing rice into his mouth. "plus, why would she want to come here anyway? look how messy our dorm is. we can ask to invite her when the dorm looks more presentable."

"fine. i'll start cleaning by tomorrow." changkyun announced. everyone else looked at him with big eyes, then laughed.

"really? you and minhyuk are the most laziest guys here, and you, wanting to clean? in my dreams." kihyun said. minhyuk looked at him, offended. he was about to say something but was then interrupted by changkyun.

"no, i'm serious. if i don't start cleaning, then i'll cook for a week."

"please. the only thing you know how to cook is instant ramen."

"kihyun, just give the kid a chance." shownu told him. "if you keep on putting him down like that, is there gonna be anything done?"

"i guess you're right, hyung. sorry, changkyun."

changkyun just nodded. "like seriously, hyung. when was i ever this happy about a person? never."

kihyun just shrugged. "i have nothing to say."
