a road surrounded by dense jungle. The silence in the car is killing me, both of us actually.
We go for a few more minutes and the sight of a big gate. The gates open instantly upon our arrival. The guards standing there, welcoming Christian.
Holy fuck.
The house in front of me is huge, it's not a house it's a castle. The property is so big. The house is in the middle while there are beautiful gardens on either side of the house. There is one greenhouse on the corner.
A big fountain at the front of the house. On the further side, there is a huge lake with a fountain constructed in the middle, as well.
This Mansion is enormous.
We park outside the front French doors, where a few people are standing, the door is opened for Christian, he climbs out, a man opens the door for me as well, but I am rooted to my spot, unable to move.
Christian notices and comes to and gives me his hand, without a single thought I place my hand in his. He pulls me out of the car and walks me inside.
Just as we reach the people standing I am crushed in a hug and my eardrums are exploded due to squealing.
Before I can comprehend anything, the person breaks the hug.
"Chris, you didn't tell me she is this Bella." The girl scolded.
Christian didn't bother to reply just rolled his eyes ad steps inside with us following.
"Chris, my man." A man standing next to the girl did a bro shake with him.
He's a handsome man, to be honest with blue eyes, tan skin, and dark hair.
Christian is way hotter, though.
I blushed at my thought.
"Ria, this is my cousin Francis and his fiancée, Amara. This is Victoria." He introduces us formally and his tone is so dejected.
What's with the whole attitude?
"Hello." I give them a small wave and a smile.
Francis looked at me carefully for a moment before nodding. "I approve." He smiled at me. "Welcome to the family, Victoria."
I don't know how to respond, so I just respond with a small thank you.

"Yay, there's another girl in the-" Amara is cut off by a really harsh Christian.
"-If you guys are done, shall we head inside, we are tired and we don't have all day!" He snaps at Amara making her flinch.
"Man," Francis warns.
Well, this was the last straw.
"Christian. What the hell is your problem?!" I turn back snapping at him. "She did nothing wrong and if you want to go to bed you can go by yourself because it's not like we for whole 10 hours on the way here," I say sarcastically.
He eyes me. "Victoria-"
I shake my head. "-don't you 'Victoria' me. That sweet girl did nothing wrong and after coming off the jet you've got your panties in a twist--"
Amara touches my arm. "Victoria it's okay." She looks alarmed and amused.
"No Amara, nothing is okay with the way he behaved. You did nothing wrong," I tell her. "You were just welcoming me. He has no right to do so."
I look at Christian. "And you Christian. Who even are you?" I ask him. "You are not the Christian I've spent the past month with." I hold his hand. "Just talk to me."
Francis speaks for the first time holding her fiancé. "You guys sort it out, we'll be going to our room."
With tearful eyes Amara thanks me.
Just as they both leave I turn to Christian. "You made her cry," I state with tears of frustration in my eyes. "What is wrong with you?!"
He says nothing just pulls me in a hug. I struggle for a minute but then just give in by wrapping my arms around his neck burying my face in the crook of his neck, sobbing, and letting out all my confusion and frustration.
"I'm sorry, baby. Let's get to the room." I nod against his neck.
We take the staircase going a floor up, passing through some hallways to a room with big black French doors. He opens the door and Christian's scent invades my senses.
His room is big. A round bed in the Centre with black sheets and white pillows. One wall totally made up of glass that leads to the balcony. While one of them is black the others are grey.

A shelf is present on one side of the room with many books. A soft white rug in front of the bed. A white couch to the opposite wall. His room is elegant.
But no sign of pictures and memories. Just like mine at my house.
He takes my hand and leads me to the bed. I sit down and he kneels in front of me taking my heels off. Suddenly he scoops me up in his arms making me wrap my legs around his waist.
He takes me to the door which is probably his closet and puts me on the big round stool in the middle. I take a look around, it's a U-shaped closet.
Half of the side is full of Christian's clothes and half of the other side is empty, probably for me.
He pulls out a white T-shirt for me and a pair of black boxers. "Change I'll be waiting for you outside."
I nod. "Okay."
I quickly slip out of my dress and fold it, placing it on the stool. I change into Christian's shirt which is huge on me. And slip on his boxers. I brush a hand through my hair before going out.
Christian is lying on his bed in his boxers, showing off his drool-worthy body, looking at the ceiling, lost deep in his thought.
I climb on the bed and place my hand on his bicep making him look at me with a snap.
"Sorry didn't see you there." He sits up.
I am still sitting on the bed with my hands on my lap, my gaze lowered on them, thinking about the whole situation.
"Victoria-" I cut him off by wrapping my arms around his neck, breaking into sobs, again.
"I'm so sorry, Christian." I cry out.
"Hey, hey? What are you apologizing for, precious?" He pulls me closer onto his lap, straddling him.
"I was such a bitch to you today, I ignored you, yelled at you when you were just trying to help me." I let out. "It's all my fault."
He pulls back the slightest so that he could look at me. "It's not your fault baby, it was hard for you and my attitude was of an asshole." He sighs. "So I'm sorry. It won't ever happen again."
He wipes my tears from my face, kissing my forehead, then my lips. But before he could break away I deepen the kiss and let my hands okay with his hair. I slightly rock against him when he pulls me closer. He nibbles at my bottom lip playfully.
We break away and stay like this for a while just enjoying each other's presence. After a while he slides a bit down so I could lay down on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.
After a few moments of lying in each other's arms, Christian tells me, "Did I tell you how sexy you look in my clothes?"
It made me blush and giggle. "No."
"Well let me tell you. You look sexy as hell." He flips us over. "But I'm pretty sure you'd look even better with them off."
With that, he rests his soft, warm, addictive lips on my own for a slow, loving, passionate kiss.
"I really, really like you. You know that right?"
A smile takes over my face. "I really, really like you too. I hope you know that."
A silly grin gets plastered on his face. "I do."
He gives me an Eskimo kiss making me giggle.
"Hey! That's the sound I love."
He lays next to me after that, placing his head on my chest hugging my stomach like a baby. He snuggles more into me as I massage his scalp making him fall into a peaceful slumber.
I place a long kiss on his forehead, "Sweet dreams, love."
With that, I fall into darkness as well.

The Queen's Guard
Friedrich Schreiner is a proud gefreiter of the Queen's Guard, 2nd Company: the finest fighting infantry on the continent (barring the Temple Guard; but please don't bring that up). Service is honourable but, with the Empire on a peacetime footing, terribly boring. Affairs take a dramatic turn for the worse when a mysterious invader uses a forgotten and taboo magical means to breach the capital, plunging the nation into chaos and endangering the royal family. With events spiraling out of control, Friedrich is entrusted with a critical mission. Will hot lead, cold steel, and his determination be enough to see him through? The Queen's Guard is what I'm calling a black powder fantasy story: it's set in a loose equivalent of the early 18th century (plus or minus a few pieces I decided I wanted or didn't want). Magic exists, but not in a spell-slinging sort of way: it's Earth-shaking undertakings or minor enchantments forged in by master craftsmen, the grand working of a secretive cabal or a slight nudge to the course of a blow. I, the eternal optimist, have a full trilogy in mind. The first book is The Prince's Arquebusier, hence the cover and the title disagreeing! This is my shot at 2021's NaNoWriMo and RR Writathon! I've hitherto been terrible at writing long-form fiction, so this is an effort to break out of that by having some accountability in being supposed to post chapters regularly. Here's hoping it works! I have an outline, but not too much detail. I'll do my best to avoid continuity errors, doing anything glaringly stupid, or otherwise fluffing my lines, but I can't make any promises on that. Please do let me know any feedback! Always happy to improve. [participant in the Nov 2021 Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Emancipation - An Isekai Story
When they tell you 'a hero was summoned'. Do they expound on what it takes to truly be moved? Does it make sense to rip a hole within reality into another dimension, to a planet billions of galaxies away, and accurately transport a single person(s)? No, well truth be told, it takes a whole lot to summon anyone so far away, maybe it might take an attempt in summoning of a Dark God, to transport him. Then again they never tell you about what it means to travel between Dark Matter. Or what horrors exist there. Cover by Red Bluebery! I am a new writer, I am trying to find my style of writing. So please have patience. If you see any grammatical errors let me know and I will work to fix them. If you have any criticism please Pm me. or leave a detailed review, not just a single star! Hope we have fun with this.

SPECTER
This is a story I wrote when I was fifteen. I'm twenty-two. I decided to post this piece hoping it'll help inspire people to finish their story. The point of a rough draft is to barf words onto the screen. It's not suppose to be pretty. It's suppose to be finished.
