"What?" He breaks the hug.
"I will go with you if that's what you want." I cup his face. "I mean you would feel better, right?"
He leans into my touch. "What did I do to deserve you?"
"Don't think like that." I kiss his nose. "You are an amazing man, that deserves the world."
"You really think that?" He asks me with so much emotion.
"I know that Christian. Don't ever think otherwise." I scold him.
He says nothing more, just captures my mouth with an overly addicting, mind-blowing, and breath-taking kiss. I melt into it.
He pulls back and rests his forehead against mine. "Let's pack, yeah?"
I nod.
●●●
I look at my now-packed bags. I packed all my essentials. I just love my clothes and when they weren't fitting in, Christian promised me that he will buy me the whole store there if I want because everything happening here was because of him.
I tried to make him think otherwise but he wouldn't have it.
I change into my comfy Micky Mouse clothes and let my hair down messily but in a good way. With a pair of converse, I was ready.
"Baby?"
I turn around. "Yes?"
He comes to me and wraps his arms around me. "You done packing?"
I nod. "But there are two tiny little problems."
He pulls back with narrow eyes. "What?"
"What do I say to Uncle Smith? I have to be at the hospital in an hour also what about my visa?" I stress out.
"Your job won't be a problem. I took care of it." He passes me a smile.
"What do you mean?"
"What it means is that you haven't gone on vacation so I told your uncle that I am taking you on a vacation and he agreed." He explains. "And about your visa, you don't need to worry. Just give me your passport I will handle the rest."
"Oh, wow. Okay."
"If you're done, shall we move now?" He asks.
"Um.. before we leave can we sit and.. talk for a moment?" I look down.
He looks carefully at me and nods. "Yeah, come on."
We sit criss-cross on my bed facing each other. I take both his hands in mine, intertwining our fingers together.
I take in a deep breath. "Look Christian, I've been cooperating with you the whole time. I.. I just want to know what exactly is happening." I finally make eye contact. My eyes, teary.
"Baby..."
"Christian, I don't know if you can see it but I'm so scared. They definitely are dangerous people and I deserve a proper explanation." I reason.

"I know you do, beautiful... it's just when we go to Italy I'll explain everything, just trust me."
"I do trust you, but those people are dangerous and they can hurt you again. What if something happens to you? You got lucky that I found you that day, or you would have died that day." I cry.
I see the emotion that came into his eyes. Something I can't unsee. Love and adoration.
Is it really possible?
"That's what you are scared of?" He asks. "Me getting hurt?"
I nodded wiping my tears.
"I promise you nothing will happen to me and you. Okay? I'll keep you safe and you will love it there." He pecks me.
He picks me up and puts me on his lap so that I am straddling him. He says many soothing things in my ear making me feel better and stroking my hair.
I hear his steady heartbeat making me calm.
Christian's phone rings and he picks it.
"Yeah?" He speaks on the phone.
"Everything set?" He asks. "She shouldn't feel uncomfortable or out of place even for a moment, you hear me?"
Why do I get the feeling that he is talking about me?
"Wait hold on." He says and looks at me. "Baby, would you like your own room there or you wanna stay with me in my bedroom."
"With you." I rest my head back on his chest.
"Make sure you clean my room properly and put all the essentials there." He orders. "Just don't mess up."
"Who was that?" I ask once he hangs up.
"The housekeeper. We don't want the princess to live in an unorganized messy place, now do we?" He smiles playfully at me.
"You are just amazing." I peck him.
"Come on now let's go."
He takes my one bag while I take the other. We load the bags in the Mustang. The car will stay at the airport parking.
We finally sit in the car. "Is there anything you forgot?"
I sigh. "No."
"What's wrong?" He asks.
"I am just so confused. Are they so dangerous that we cannot hire some bodyguards for ourselves?" I ask.
"Things are complicated than you know, mia dia." He sighs. "Right now I have to keep you in the dark. But don't worry once we reach home, I'll tell you everything."
"Okay." I nod.
Christian looks at me for a moment. "I think you should talk to my mom, to ease a few of your worries."
I just nod in reply.
He dials a number and puts it against his ears. "Hey mom... I know, I'm sorry but I have something important to talk to you about... I told you about Victoria. I want her to come with me to Italy... Yes, mom to meet you. I want you to talk to her and ease her worries and if she can trust us. She'll feel better."

He passes me the cell phone, "Hello?"
"Hello, dear Victoria. I'm Christian's mamma."
"Hi, Mrs. Vasquez."
"Cara, you don't need to worry about anything. My son is a sweetheart and if he does something to upset you, I'll get my flip flop ready. Okay, dear?"
I laugh, "Of course, Mrs. Vasquez."
"Now, I'll let you go. You guys must be getting late. I'll see you soon."
"Goodbye, Mrs. Vasquez."
"Ciao." She hangs up.
"Satisfied?" Christian asks, smiling.
"Yes," I giggle, remembering the flip-flop part.
"What did she say?"
"She said you are a sweetheart and I don't have to worry," I tell him. "She also mentioned that if you misbehave she'll make sure to make your pay with her flip flop."
"Christ." He grumbles. "Well, that's my mom. Ready to leave?"
"Yes, let's go."
Throughout the whole ride, Christian held my hand tightly. No words were needed.
Once we reach, Christian takes my one bag and his small bag. He left his most clothes back at my house.
We make our way through the security and give away our luggage to a private runway with many private jets.
"We are going through a private jet?"
"Yeah." He replies. "It's a friend's."
"Okay..."
We get inside a white one. We are greeted by a really handsome pilot sanding.
"Good afternoon, sir." The pilot looks at me and flashes a smile. "Ma'am."
"Good afternoon, Mr. Drew," I reply looking at his name tag that read Captain Drew.
"Babe come this way," Christian tells me glaring at the pilot. "My girl needs some rest. I'll come to you and discuss a few things before take off once I make sure she is settled." He tells the pilot with a pointed look.
"Christian, be nice." I scold him. "Sorry about him." I apologize.
Without any further discussion, I climb the stairs dragging Christian with me. I am welcomed with the sight of a comfy bed. Without taking off my shoes I jump on the bed.
"Ugh I am so tired." I let out. "Christian because of you I am addicted to sleeping."
"You're welcome, Goddess." He winks.
"You and your charms." I sigh. "Now go and hurry up, do all the discussion so I can cuddle with you and then sleep..." I pout.
He chuckles. "Don't worry, killer I'll be back in a minute."
He gets down the stairs while I shout. "Be nice!"
"Yeah, yeah..."
I sigh. Christian is just perfect.
I wait for Christan while thinking about him. The way he treats me like a princess. How protective he is over me. Such an adorable human being he is. Such a--
I look at my arm where I feel something moving.
"Ahh!" I scream my lungs out.
A fucking spider on my arm.
And not just any spider, a freakin' Tarantula.
"Christian!!"
At the exact same moment Christian comes up, both pilots behind, with a fucking gun in his hand. I Ignore it jumping into his arms screaming, "Kill it, kill it."
"Oh, it's Mr. Rico's Tarantula, he lost it here somewhere." The other pilot says picking it up from the bed.
I hide my face into Christian's neck when the pilot came closer to me.
"Take it away, Bill." Christian orders.
"Yes, sir." Bill says and takes the spider down.
"I'm sorry for that ma'am. I hope the rest of the flight will go fine." Mr. Drew says.
I nod.
"You are excused, Drew." Christian curtly says.
Once Drew goes down, Christian puts me on the bed as I was still clinging onto him and lays down next to me.
"I leave you for a minute and you do this to yourself." He says motioning to the way I am clinging onto him for dear life.
"But I know that my knight in shining Armour will be here to save me, so I don't worry." I shrug.
He hovers over me. " Oh yeah?"
"Ahmm." I nod my head.
He quickly kisses me lays down next to me, cuddling.
●●●
The plane has taken off and we have taken our 2-hour nap in each other's arms.
Right now we are acting like those teenage Cliché couples, laying on our sides and gazing at each other while I trace his features with my finger.
"Sing me a song?" Christian asks just as my finger reaches his lower lip.
I shrug.
"In your eyes, there's a heavy blue, one to love and one to lose. Sweet divine a heavy truth, water or vine don't make me choose."
I wanna feel the way that we did that summer night, night, drunk on a feeling alone with the stars in the sky.
I've been running through the jungle, I've been running with the wolves to get to you, to get to you. I've been down the darkest alley, saw the dark side of the moon to get to you.
I've looked for love in every stranger, took too much to ease the anger, all for you, yeah all for you, I've been running through the jungle, I've been running with the wolves to get to you, to get to you."
"So beautiful. Like always." He pulls me closer.
I just relish every second of being in his arms and scared of the secrets that Italy will bring us.
