Christian that he could stay, he was really surprised that I would let him. To be honest I was surprised too.
Me letting a stranger live in my house. Nobody who knows me would've imagined that.
After that, he again introduced himself to me and I did the same.
His full name is Christian Amore. He is half Italian and half Brazilian but was born in the USA. He is 25 years old. Only two years older than me which makes me 23.
The whole day he was in the guest room, resting, whereas I was cleaning my house like a maniac.
I can't stand dirty and filthy things.
I also made sandwiches and brownies for lunch and pasta for dinner. For both dinner and lunch, I texted Christian to come out. He had given me his number before.
And after watching a bunch of Teen Wolf and snacks, I am sitting on the front stairs of my house under the shade watching the raindrops on the ground in front of me.
My nights are always like this. I barely get two hours of sleep daily. I've learned to live with it now.
An incident that completely ruined my nights and life. Those memories which I want to erase. So many things I want to forget. So many mistakes I wish I could undo.
I am so lost in my thoughts that I don't realize that someone is sitting now next to me.
"Gosh Christian, you scared me." I jump and put my hand on my heart.
"Sorry. I called your name but you were too deep in thought. Care to share?" He asks.
"Just thinking." I vaguely reply.
"Thinking?"
"Stuff." I dismiss the topic.
"Hmm." He lets out. "Can't sleep?"

"Yeah. What are you doing out when you should be resting?" I ask.
"I couldn't sleep and just needed some fresh air." He tells me.
"Me too. Especially in this weather. I love the rain." I say while resting my face on my palm.
"You do know that the rain symbolizes gri--" I cut him off.
"Grief and pain. I know." I quietly tell him staring at the rain.
He doesn't say anything about it after that. But I feel his eyes burning into me. Like he is trying to read my thoughts.
"So how do you know so much about the doctor stuff?" He breaks the silence.
"I'm a doctor in training. I help taking care of cancer patients mostly." I share.
"Cancer is a bitch." He spits. His eyes are dark and cold.
"Tell me about it." I roll my eyes. "I wish there was something in this world that can cure it in minutes. But it's is too good to be true."
"Yeah." He scoffs.
"What do you do?" I ask him.
"I'm a business major." He answers. "I help my dad with his business."
"That's good."
We fall into a comfortable silence after that. The times flew so fast that we didn't even know that it is 3 in the morning now.
"You should go in there and rest Christian," I tell him while standing up.
He nods in response and I help him stand up.

Another night of me tossing and turning in my bed. The fear of sleeping never leaves me. I can't risk somebody seeing in that state.
My nights are worse when there is a storm outside, even though I love that weather but it brings out too many memories.
Too many.
I lost count.
Glancing at my nightstand, I see that now it's 7:00 am. Time to get up.

My day is again the same. Breakfast for both of us. Me changing his bandages and making lunch, watching TV and again making dinner and then again watching TV. I seriously need a social life.
Today is the last day of the storm. Well, that is what predicted.
Like this, the whole day passes and I'm in my bed wondering why my life is so fucked up.
I get up the next day after my sleepless night. It's eight-thirty in the morning.
I get up still in my PJ's to make coffee, I almost start making it that Christian comes in shirtless. Holy fuck. He is one fine piece of art. It's a fact that I'm stating and not afraid to admit it.
"Morning." He mumbles.
"Good morning." I greet him back.
"Looks like you didn't get much sleep last night." He remarks.
"Is it that obvious?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah." He chuckles. "Why didn't you get any sleep? You looked pretty tired before we got in."
"And he laughs," I remark at his chuckle. "To answer your question, I was thinking the whole night."
"About?" He pries, again.
"Stuff," I reply and change the topic before he could say anything. "So how are you holding up with all the... Injuries."
"I'm doing much better. My personal doctor knows her job really well." He says with a smirk.
"Well, she must be really good then," I say with my own sly smile passing him his coffee mug.
"She is." We are basically flirting.
"Good for you then." I smile. "I was thinking about going out for breakfast, you want to join?"
"Where are you going to eat?" He asks.
"There is a cafe about 5 minutes' drive away," I reply, sipping onto my coffee.
"Yeah, I'd love to join you." He answers.
"Cool. We'll go in fifteen minutes." I say and he nods.

I wear my new outfit today. It's really cute. A long Jersey with black stockings and my black boots. I let my hair fall into its natural waves over my shoulders until just above my waist.
I apply concealer under my eyes to cover my bags. I also apply mascara and eyeliner to make my eyes pop out. Finishing with a pink lip gloss and my VS bombshell.
I love to dress myself up. Something that I got from my mom. She used to buy me everything and every type of thing to wear. She kind of rubbed off on me and I'm thankful for that.
I take my coach handbag and put my iPhone with my wallet, car keys, and house keys. Making sure I have everything I go out in the living room to see Christian seated there already.
When he notices me, he stands up. He is wearing a black T-shirt that says 'I'm human' and black skinny jeans with one of my dad's boots. He and my dad are of the same size.
Also, I don't have many clothes for him to wear so he needs to go shopping.
"Come on, let's go," I say making my way towards the door with him following me.
He closes the door while I open the garage. I take out the 1969 Chevy Camaro Convertible.
Damon Salvatore also has the same car. That is why I'm in love with this car.
I drive it through towards the driveway where Christian is standing.
"Holy Fuck, this is your car?" He asks. "This is an original classic."
"Hop in Christian." I laugh out.
He does what he is told and we are off.
