《A Villains Bright Side (IzukuxOchaco)》Ch.14 The night in town

3rd POV
Ochaco was confused when Iida went running out the doors after taking a call. But then was even more confused when he came back looking like he just got done crying his eyes out. He probably was. Ochaco walked up to Iida. "Iida are you ok?! you look sad..." Ochaco asked. "Yes. I am fine. It's just, my brother, he died." Iida looked down at his shoes. Ochaco's eyes widen in shock at the news. "I'm sorry." she said, trying to comfort him. "If I may ask, how did he die?" Ochaco asked.
"The villain, Deku. He killed my brother." Iida said. Dying by Deku is not a foolish way to die, in fact, it is actually a honorable way to die. No one will judge you for dying by him, they will praise you for seeing him and not running away. The ones who do try and run away, if you're not a hero, he will let you go and tell your story of encountering him. Then you will get called a baby or something for not trying to fight off a quirkless villain.
Everyone underestimates him for being quirkless, then they will take it back for everyone he kills.
This world makes no sense.
Ochaco's eyes somehow widens even more by the mention of his name. She never forgot her crush on him. Sometimes when no ones around, she looks his name up one the internet, just to see his face. Some may say that she was obsessed, but she isn't as long as no one knows. Right? A hero and a villain? That's nonsense.
No one will suspect a thing.
That was what she thought, until something happened 3 days after Iida's brother died.
-----------------------------------
Ochaco and the girls decided to stay up late. They were all having fun and talking until, a certain question came up. "Ochaco, what was it like being kidnapped by Deku?" Everyone looked at Mina. "MINA!" Momo scolded, "You can't just ask someone that, you don't know what she could have suffered through." "That's why I'm asking." Mina replied.
Momo put her head down. "It's ok Momo, she can ask, because I actually didn't suffer through much. Sure the villains hurt me sometimes, but they had their reasons." Ochaco said. The girls all looked at Ochaco now. "Did you ever have good times?" Jiro asked. "Actually, yes." Ochaco leaned back and looked out the window. "Really? Like what?" Tsu asked. Mina narrowed her eyes, remembering the night they found Ochaco and Deku.
The time they at first ran from them, then finally, when they had her, that one last thing they couldn't hear Deku say to her. "It was the times me and Deku snuck out of the hideout. We would go to so many places. He may have been a villain, but he can be nice. He was actually nice to me the whole time I was there. He was there to talk to me and keep me company. While all the other villains took turns to cut and burn me, he would always pretend to burn or cut me, sure sometimes he actually did hurt me, but those were times that he was just in a bad mood. Or something. He does what he wants, and I don't question it. But the thing is, I guess Deku was the reason why I was kind of fine with being there." Ochaco explained, blushing when she remembered the kiss.
All of the girls were in shock. "So...the day me and the others found you....you and Deku was having another one of your 'get aways'?" Mina said. Ochaco nodded. "He was planning to take me up the mountain at the park. The same mountain that you guys took me away from him." Ochaco said. "What was your favourite get away?" Tsu asked, putting a finger under her chin. "other than all of them, my favourite night was one of the nights we spent running around town." Ochaco smiled as she remembered the night.

"Can you tell us what happened?" Mina chose to ask for details.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The night in town 1 month and 2 weeks ago...
Ochaco, sitting in the chair waiting for Izuku. Until her wish is granted and she saw the door open and Deku walking through it. "Hey Ochaco!" he cheerfully greeted her with a smile. "Someone's happy today." she greeted back. "Yeah! I got something for us to do today! I have to go into town today and do something, but after that, we can run around town and act like we're 10 again! :)" Deku said with a big smile on his face, leaning on the wall with his hands in his pocket.
Ochaco giggled at the explanation of tonight. "Sounds like a plan." she got up out of the chair.

Ochaco and Izuku walk up to the run down building. "Here is the job." Deku says in a serious manner, kneeling behind a bush. Ochaco does the same. "What are you going to do?" asks Ochaco. "Hehe what do you think?" Deku smiles a wicked smile and looks at Ochaco. "By how you just laughed and are smiling, I'm gonna guess murder or rape." Ochaco plainly states.
Deku makes a surprised face at the 2nd guess. And Ochaco notices the face. "W-wait wait wait, did I get it right? Are you actually going to rape the person here?" Ochaco says, scooting away from Deku. "NO NO, no, I just didn't think you would guess that. I thought you were going to just guess murder." Deku says, trying to make her stop scooting.
"Oh" she scoots back to Deku. "So you are going to murder the person." she says. "No, I just wanted you to think I was going to murder them." Deku smiles and looks at her. "Are you being sarcastic?" Ochaco looked back at him, raising a eyebrow. "No, no, I'm being serious." he replied. "Then what are we doing here?" Ochaco asked focusing back on the house. Deku's smile got wider.
Ochaco glanced at Deku, noticing that his smile got bigger. "W-what are we going to do Deku...?" she asked in a worried voice. "We are going to pretend to be kids on Halloween" Deku answered with a smile. "we are going to trick or treat this house?" Ochaco deadpanned. "Haha good idea but no." Deku took off the bag that he was wearing, and opened it, taking out 3 cartons of eggs. "Omg, I figured out what we are doing." Ochaco said.
"Yep. You gonna join in?" Deku said with a big smile. "I thought this will be in town?" Ochaco raised her brow. "We can egg the shops too" Deku answered. Ochaco sighed and took a egg. "You want to go first?" Deku asked, also grabbing a egg. Ochaco smiled, reeled back her arm, aim....and......FIRE!!!
The egg made a splat sound as it made contact with the wood. "I'm proud of you." Deku said as he stared at the splattered egg. Ochaco giggled at the comment and took another egg. Deku reeled back his arm and threw his egg. Leaving the same sound and same image after it landed on the wood. They kept doing this until they were all out of eggs.
They laughed as they ran off of the land. But they made it out just in time for the owners of the property to make it back home. They hid in another bush as they watched the land owner rage at what they did to their house. Deku and Ocha laughed and ran off the property. "Hahaha did you see that dude!? H-he stopped his foot!!!" Deku said threw laughter, mimicking what the guy did. "Hahaha S-sure B-but did you see his face." Ochaco mimicked the scrunched up face the guy made. Deku looked at Ochaco and laughed even harder at the face she was making.

Once they finally got themselves to stop laughing they started walking through town. "I thought you said we would be able to egg these buildings too." Ochaco said, pointing at the buildings. "Yeah, we will once we get more eggs." Deku said, looking at the buildings. "Doubt it" Ochaco said looking at the sidewalk ahead of them. Deku chuckled and looked up at the sky. The sun was almost gone and the moon was almost up. Deku can see a couple stars in the sky.
"It's almost night. Can you believe that?" Deku said in a calm voice. "You're a nice and calm guy from time to time. Can you believe that?" Ochaco replied, also looking up at the sky. A small smile made its way to Deku's face and his eyes soften after that comment from Uraraka. "I'm glad it was you." Deku whispered.
"What? Sorry I couldn't quiet hear that." Ochaco asked. Dekus eyes widen. "O-Oh y-you weren't supposed to hear that. I-I was j-just talking to myself." Deku's cheeks go red. Ochaco looks at him and giggles. "Yeah, it's totally normal for a cold hearted beast to talk to himself." Ochaco said. "I-is that really how you view me?" Deku said and pointed to himself. "It's not just me." Ochaco exclaimed.
Deku looks at the ground in shame.
"Hey Deku. You want to go into that store right there." Ochaco says, grabbing Deku's arm and pointing at a store. The store seems to sell everything that Walmart sells, but mainly clothes. But that's just what it advertises on the outside. The inside was a complete diffrent story. After a lot of blushing and unlinking arms, they 2 finally made their way inside. "WOOAAHHH" Ochaco is in complete amazement of the store.
Deku just doesn't care. He only cares if she's happy. And she is happy.
"Never been to a place like this before?" Deku asked Ochaco from next to her, pulling down his little face mask. "N-no never. Must be a expensive place." Ochaco says, taking a big look around the place. "huh" That's the only words that Deku can think of saying. After about a hour of looking and messing around the place, they finally make it back outside, because they got kicked out due to the store closing.
11:00pm
"Hey Deku, it's getting pretty late. Don't you think that we will get caught?" Ochaco asked Deku. They are currently walking down the empty sidewalk of downtown. "Get caught doing what?" Deku smiles and looks down at Ochaco. "Ya' know. Sneaking out." Ochaco says looking up at Izuku. Deku chuckles. "Don't be paranoid, if we get caught then screw it, we're moving out." Deku says. Deku and Ochaco make there way into walking in the middle of the road.
"Don't you think it's prettier out in the middle of the road?" Deku says, looking at the light up signs from the buildings. Ochaco only nodded her head. "Hey guess what I got" Deku says, looking at Ochaco. "What?" she looks back at him. Deku takes off his back and reaches in. Ochaco's eyes widen as she sees a carton of eggs get dragged out of the bag. "Ya' up for it?" Deku asked, holding out the eggs for her.
A large smile makes its way to her face as she opens the carton and takes a egg. "This time, it's your turn to go first. And please tell me you have more eggs" Ochaco says. Deku just looks at her and smiles. "look in the bag" he tells her. Ochaco leans down and looks into the bag and sees 3 more cartons of eggs. Deku reels back his arm and fires the egg at a building. Ochaco does the same after him. The pattern of throwing eggs just keeps going until all 4 cartons are empty and the buildings are covered in egg.
The two teens look at their masterpiece until a shop worker that was still on shift comes out, takes one glance at the egged building, and starts running towards the two. "Oh shi-" "COME NO!" Ochaco takes DEKUUUUU!!!!'s hand and starts running down the street that was lit with street lights. They kept running until they saw that they were no longer getting chased. Ochaco smiles and starts to laugh. Deku starts laughing along. They didn't know why they were laughing, but they just went with the flow.
Deku gives a good look at what was in front of them. It was a clear field, some flowers rising out of the nice green grass. The field had a pretty view of the starry sky above them. Deku walks onto the field and sits down, Ochaco shortly joining him. "Beautiful, isn't it?" Deku asks, breaking the silence between them. "Yeah." Then the silence was back. It wasn't a awkward one though, it was a little comfortable. So the two sat back and enjoyed it.
They stayed like this for a while. Then Ochaco got sleepy, no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't stay awaked ended up falling onto the grass and passing out. "O-Ochaco??? Are you ok???" Deku asked, worried for her. When he got no response, he quickly turned to her and didn't see her. Then he looked down, and everything made cense. He also lied down, all he did was stare at her for the rest of the time there.
Until he finally brought her back to the building, though it took all his will power to peal his eyes off of her. He thought she looked cute asleep, though isn't creepy to watch someone sleep?
That was the night in town, though it didn't sound that fun, it's fun once you experience it for yourself.
-------------------------------------------------
Back to present time
Ochaco sighed after telling the story. "Is it possible to believe but not believe someone at the same time?" Mina asked. "I don't know, I do remember going outside into town one day and seeing half of the shops egged to death" Jiro answered. "Wow. What in the hell did you do to earn that kind of respect from Deku?" Toru asked. She knows the answer. Ochaco may have acted like it, but she never forgot the crush Deku had on her.
I mean, would you forget a time that a dangerous sociopath told you that they liked you? I think not. "Ochaco, do you trust Deku?" Tsu asked. Ochaco considered this question for a bit. "Well I guess." Ochaco timidly answered. "What is your opinion on him?" Tsu asked another question. "Well I don't think he is as bad as he seems. Sure he may act like a cold hearted beast sometimes, but he really is a nice caring guy. He is sweet and kind. He's a great, strong, kind of hot, cinnamon roll, cute guy-" Ochaco realized what she just said, blushed, and covered her mouth.
"Did she just say that?" Toru asked Mina. "I knew it. I knew something was up when we got you from Deku" Mina said. "I think there is some sort of Stockholm syndrome going on over there." Tsu said. Ochaco couldn't believe what they were saying. Stockholm syndrome? What's that?
She just didn't know what to do.

Kingdom of Tyr (Original)
This fiction has been concluded as of the end of Book 1, the portion of the story posted here. There will be a complete rewrite as a separate fiction in the future to make the system more consistent and add more to the world while expanding on the events within this fiction. This rewrite will begin eventually, posted as a separate story. Colt, twelve, is walking home from school when he's approached by another boy dressed oddly, who asks him - theoretically - about living in another world. After asking some information about the theoretical other world, Colt says he'd probably prefer to live there, to get away from the problems he has on Earth. Once Colt confirms that, he finds himself in an abandoned city, the other boy revealing himself to be a god, who then offers to train Colt until he can stand on his own and live by himself. After a couple of months, the god sends Colt off for greater training, to learn to use both Aura and Mana, with his only instructions being to return every now and then to visit, and to make friends and have lots of fun. This story follows Colt, a boy named Tyler he meets in the new city, and their journey to growing stronger, having fun, and striving to beat each other. Note: this story is not intended to be professional-quality, and it does draw inspiration from many sources. That said, it is its own story, in its own world. It has never been and never will be edited. It will also have multiple PoV's, starting somewhere after Chapter 8.

Hazelsong: A LitRPG Novel
Release Schedule: I will be moving to a set release schedule as of 1/1/2022. A new chapter will be released every Saturday at Noon EST. If I have time that week for a second chapter, I will leave a note on the Saturday chapter and post the second chapter on Sunday at Noon EST. An up to date character sheet for the MC Erik will also be posted on Sundays at 12:15 PM. If life happens and I am for some reason unable to write that week, I will post a blank chapter giving you an update on where I am with my writing. Saturday Noon EST: First weekly chapter Sunday Noon EST: Second weekly chapter (if I have the time) Sunday 12:15 EST: Updated character sheet Synopsis: Years after surviving a deadly accident, Erik struggles to come to terms with his painful disability. When offered the chance to playtest the world's first full immersion VRMMO, he wants nothing more than to retreat back into his secluded life, until he learns what Hazelsong really offers. An escape from the pain. Hazelsong is a world of magic and adventure, a place where friendships are formed, loot is won, and glory and fame are there for the taking. While the threats feel real and the stakes are always high, there is only one thing Erik is really in danger of. Forgetting which world is actually real. Story Themes: Hazelsong is a LitRPG novel that not only explores the fictional world of a realistic online fantasy realm but the life of a man suffering in silence from chronic pain and PTSD due to a significant physical injury and disability. Mental health is an important subject and we all know at least one person in our lives who has or is dealing with some form of mental illness. I plan on putting my best effort forward to represent these illnesses in a fair and accurate manner. Not as a cheap plot device to help make the protagonist more unique, but to help paint an accurate picture for those of us who have been lucky enough to not have to suffer in silence. About the Author: I am Ash Durra, general video game nerd and a connoisseur of fantasy and sci-fi of all shapes and sizes. Needless to say, I am not a professional author (B.S. and M.S. in Education, 8 years teaching). After really getting into LitRPG novels over the past several years, I found my way to Royal Road, which has inspired me to use my spare time to begin writing a story of my own creation. As this is a hobby, I am not writing and posting chapters on any kind of specific schedule at the moment, though my goal is to post on average 1-2 chapters a week. I am incredibly excited to share this story with others as I write it, and I look forward to any constructive feedback about how I can improve in my writing.
