When I woke up from my slumber, the light of the sun pierced my eyes as I got out of my bed. Rubbing my emerald orbs, I looked at my clock on my bedside table, and it read 1:48 p.m.
Holy crap, I slept that late?! I thought and quickly grabbed my phone and I saw that I had nine missed calls from Fuyumi-Chan. Had something happened with Shoto?!
I clicked on the calls from Fuyumi-Chan. Listening to them one by one.
"Hey, Izuku-Chan, it's Fuyumi. We just got a call about Shoto's condition, something's up. Call me back soon."
"Izuku-Chan, can you please call me back? Natsuo and I are at the hospital. Doctor Chickao is saying Shoto's health is going up and down like crazy."
"Please, call me or Natsuo back, Izuku-Chan. This is really important."
"I don't know what's going on with you, right now Izuku-Chan, but you really need to answer my calls."
"Izuku-Chan. Shoto isn't doing too good right now, we really need you here right now. We all are getting pretty worried about you and Shoto. Pick up please."
"They're saying that Shoto's condition is something like they never saw before. He may not make it after all of this...Just give me one call, a text even."
"We don't know what's going on right now with Shoto. They won't tell us anything, and we're all pretty scared."
"Doctor Chickao is here. He's saying that Shoto is okay, miraculously, and they're letting us see him now."
"Izuku-Chan, you need to get over to the hospital right away...
Shoto's awake..."
I dropped my phone as soon as I heard it.
Those two words. Those words I've been wanting to hear for the past month.
He's awake.
Jumping off my bed, I went to my closet to get dressed. I quickly put on some leggings and an All Might shirt, brushed my hair a little and grabbed my bag. I ran down the stairs and rushed past my friends and teachers.

"Midoriya, where are you going?! No running in the halls!" Iida yelled and asked at the same time.
"Yeah, why the rush?!" Ashido asked.
"Young Midoriya, you need to tell us where you are going!" All Might shouted down the hall.
I stood at a halt and turned around to face my teachers and classmates. Telling them something that made my lips curl into the widest smile I ever made in months.
"Shoto's awake." Is all I say before running off to the Hospital, not wasting any moment to see the boy I've been wanting to see for forever.
I rushed into the hospital and ran up the receptionist's desk, panting and out of breath. "I-I'm here to s-see Shoto Todoroki," I tell her.
She hands me the sign in form. "Here you go. He's in room 319."
I already knew this information and I quickly and sloppily written my name down on the form. I moved quickly through the hospital halls and walk into the elevator, pushing the 3rd-floor button and I watched as the elevator doors closed and the little handle on top if the elevator kept going up until it reached the 3rd floor.
I stepped out of the elevator and rushed down the hall and finally made it to Shoto's room. Peering through the small piece of glass on his hospital door, I saw Shoto. Fuyumi-Chan and Natsuo-Kun were talking to him, smiling and laughing as they chatted with their younger brother.
I stepped away from the door and leaned on the wall next to it. I didn't want to disturb them since they were in the middle of a conversation, so I just waited in the hallway. While waiting, my mind raced with thoughts.
What do I say when I see him? Do I just say; "Hey, Shoto! So, I haven't seen you in a long time and you got stabbed in the process and now we're finally meeting after all this time. Isn't that crazy?!" Agh, no that's stupid! Do I just wait here and not speak to him ever again? No, I most certainly don't want to do that. God, Izuku, what's wrong with you?

After basically having a conversation with myself, I hear the hospital door opening and I saw Fuyumi-Chan and Natsuo-Kun exiting the room. Fuyumi-Chan shut the door and then she saw me.
"Izuku-Chan?!" She asked, somewhat shocked to see me.
I looked at her with a sad expression on my face. "I'm so sorry I didn't reply to your calls, I overslept and was really tired. Please forgive me."
Fuyumi-Chan looked back at me and wrapped her arms around me in a big hug. "Oh, I forgive you Izuku-Chan! I was worried that you got hurt or something!"
"Well, I'm fine. I'm doing even better now that Shoto's awake." I turned my head to Shoto's room.
"Why didn't you knock when we were in there? We would have let in," questioned Natsuo-Kun.
Fuyumi-Chan let me go and I looked at the two Todoroki siblings. "I didn't want to interrupt you guys, and in all honesty, I don't know what I would say to Shoto. It's been so long, it's like I don't know how to talk to him anymore."
"Izuku-Chan, all you have to do is just go in there and let your heart lead the way. You still love him, don't you?" Asked Fuyumi-Chan.
"Of course I do! I love him so much, more than anything," I tell the female with the medium cany-cane hair.
"Then, let us get you in there!" Natsuo-Kun smiled and opened the door to Shoto's room and Fuyumi-Chan pushed me in there.
At first, Shoto had his back turned to me. Then, he turned his head because of the noise and his eyes widened when he saw me in front of him. "I-Izuku?" Shoto was in complete shock as he stared at me.
I stared back at him and a little sob escaped from my lips and I covered my mouth with my hands. "S-Shoto!" I rush towards him and wrap my arms around his neck. He's startled, then wraps his strong arms around me and we embrace for the first time in what felt like one million years.
We both looked at each other. "Is that acctually you, or am I having a really good dream?" Shoto asked me. His cool gray and exotic blue eyes staring into my emerald ones.
"It's really me, I promise." I smile softly at him.
Our faces slowly became closer and closer to each other, and soon our noses were touching. Our lips finally met and it was like fireworks going off in both our minds. I missed the feeling of Shoto's lips on mine and the kiss we shared was the best thing ever.
"Oh, my god I missed you so much Izuku. All this time away from you was absolute hell," Shoto stated as he rested his chin on my head.
I held onto the taller male tighter, never wanting to let go. "Same. I was so scared you were never going to wake up, Shoto. I was so worried. So was the rest of the class."
"Well, I did, in the end, didn't I?" Shoto looked at me with a small smile.
I let out a small laugh. "I guess you're right."
Shoto and I were still holding each other close in his hospital room, and we stayed like that for a long time. We both never wanted to let go, and right then and there I felt like my heart was going to explode of happiness. All that went through my head was;
Shoto's back. He's really here...

Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons: Year One
Build a Dungeon. Slay Heroes. Survive Finals. Wounded Army vet Logan Murray thought mimics were the stuff of board games and dungeon manuals… right up until one ate him. In a flash of snapping teeth, Logan suddenly finds himself on the doorstep to another world. He’s been unwittingly recruited into the Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons—the most prestigious interdimensional school dedicated to training the monstrous guardians who protect the Tree of Souls from so-called heroes. Heroes who would destroy the universe if it meant a shot at advancement. Unfortunately, as a bottom-tier cultivator with a laughably weak core, Logan’s dungeon options aren’t exactly stellar, and he finds himself reincarnated as a lowly fungaloid, a three-foot-tall mass of spongy mushroom with fewer skills than a typical sewer rat. If he’s going to survive the grueling challenges the academy has in store, he’ll need to ace the odd assortment of classes—Fiendish Fabrication, Dungeon Feng Shui, the Ethics of Murder 101—and learn how to turn his unusual guardian form into an asset instead of a liability. And that’s only if the gargoyle professor doesn’t demote him to a doomed wandering monster first…
