《✶ c h a n g e d ✶ { Female Deku AU }》Forty Two

I woke up the next day, quickly showered and got cleaned up, threw on my uniform and walked out of my dorm the exact time I had to leave. Even though I was crying my eyes out about Shoto, today was a new week and a new day. I wanted to focus on the positive side of things, but I still felt terrible about the Shoto situation.
While walking to campus, Uraraka and Asui walked over by me. "Hey, Midoriya! How was visiting Todoroki?"
"Yeah, is he doing okay?" Asked Uraraka.
I looked at my two best friends. "The doctor says he's doing well, but he still hasn't woken up yet. The doctor also said that he probably won't wake up for another two or three weeks, but it's too early to tell..." I say sadly.
Uraraka gave me a sympathetic look, "oh, Deku. I'm sorry."
"You don't need to apologize, Uraraka. He may be in the hospital still, but he'll get better, I know he will. Shoto's a fighter, he'll push through this whole mess," I told my friends, trying to boost my friend's spirits, mostly my own.
Shoto make it through with everything. You know he can, Izuku. He's one of the strongest people you know, he'll get better. He will.
Asui smiles, "that's the spirit, Midoriya." The girl with the long dark forest green hair pats my back as all of us walk to U.A.
We make it to class and everyone in the class comes up to me, and I already know what they're going to ask. All of them are going to ask if Shoto is okay, and I was right.
I had to explain what I told Uraraka and Asui, even though I really didn't want to. After telling my class about Shoto, everyone's face fell in disappointment.

"That's awful..." Spoke Ashido quietly.
"I know, two to three weeks? That's a long time..." Kirishima added.
"We're so sorry, Midoriya," Iida said.
Everybody kept telling me things to try to make me feel better and saying sorry, which made me mad but I didn't show it. I hated all the pity I was getting, but I was too sad to show my anger to even tell them to stop telling me these things.
All I said was, "thanks, guys..." It was so quiet it could have been a whisper.
The bell rang and Mr. Aizawa got up from his desk and to the front of the room. The students all went to their seats. "Morning, class. Now, a lot of things happened this weekend. All of you snuck out without permission late at night, we had to arrest a former student, Hisaki Shirogane, and Young Shoto Todoroki was badly injured and had to be sent to the hospital," our homeroom teacher began.
"But, we have bigger things to discuss. Your punishment." Everyone groaned and either started complaining or slamming their heads on their desks. Yaoyorozu, Iida, and I were the only ones who didn't whine. Us three knew we did something bad and we deserved punishment for it.
Mr. Aizawa put his hands on his hips. "You all put this on yourselves. Anyway, you guys are going to be helping around U.A by fixing up buildings and other things kids have destroyed. Get in your gym uniforms and meet me at the fake city. Get to it."
We all got up and got our uniforms on. When we went to the fake city to meet Mr. Aizawa, he gave us a bunch of cleaning supplies, tools, and other things to help get the city back in shape.

"You have all week to fix up this entire city, so start moving."
"This is so unfair!" Ashido whined as she picked up a bunch of tools.
"I know! So we missed curfew by six-seven hours?! No big!" Kaminari replied.
"Can you extras shut up and start working? You're being so annoying!" Kacchan growled as he started making his way to one of the buildings.
The students of class 1-A grabbed the materials they needed and started to work in the city. We had to spend the whole day here and for the rest of the week. Iida, Uraraka, and I were washing the windows of a random building.
"Tenya, can you pass the bucket full of the soapy water?" Asked Uraraka. I thought it was cute that the couple was now calling each other by their first names.
Iida nodded and handed her the soap bucket. I kept wiping the window I was standing in front of, making sure it was all clean. My two friends and I kept cleaning the windows of most of the buildings.
The others were either fixing up the windows, roads, or buildings. Yaoyorozu, Sero, and Jiro were filling up the cracks in the roads in the sidewalk; Kacchan, Kirishima, Ashido, and Kaminari were fixing the holes in the side of the buildings; Along with Iida, Uraraka and I, Asui, Tokoyami, and Ojiro were cleaning the windows as well. The rest were picking up trash that students left around the area.
After seven very long hours of cleaning, our class got a good portion of the city done. All of us went to our dorms very tired. Half the class just went to their dorms right away and went to sleep, but only a few missed dinner. During dinner, my head kept dropping tiredly and I almost smashed into my food a couple of times.
When dinner was over, I started heading to my dorm when I saw Uraraka standing outside my dorm room door.
"Uraraka, what are you doing?" I asked her. Wondering why she was at my dorm.
The brunette looked at me, then she suddenly gave me a huge, death grip bear hug. "I'm so sorry!" She said while holding me close.
I was so confused.
"Why are you apologizing?" Questioning Uraraka.
Uraraka let go and she had tears in her big brown eyes. "I'm apologizing because I feel like I haven't been comforting you through this whole Todoroki thing. You're just sitting there, crying about your boyfriend, and I'm just watching you while hanging out with mine!"
Looking at my best friend, I was absolutely shocked. I had no idea Uraraka felt like this. It was now my turn to hug her. "Uraraka, you don't have to apologize for anything. You've helped me through this whole entire time and don't feel like you did nothing. You don't need to feel bad that you have Iida, too. I'm happy that you still have your boyfriend."
My friend sniffled. "R-Really?"
I nodded, still hugging her. "Yes, really. You've been such a supportive friend, Uraraka."
Uraraka hugged me back tighter. "Thanks, Deku."
"Thank you too, Uraraka."
We stood there hugging for a little while, then we both went to our dorms to get some shut eye for my cleaning tomorrow. I was so glad to jump into my bed and just sleep.

My Quiet Life
In a world where rank, blood-ties and religion are intertwined; Silika Everest lived an idyllic life as the third child of the Marquess of Oblon, spending her time causing trouble for the estate servants and playing with her siblings to her heart's content. Until a fateful day when a game of hide and seek turned into tragedy. When she woke up, her life had turned on its head, everything she had now slipping away from her. That day her quiet life began— an unforgiving life where all odds are stacked against her. **************** Hi there! This is my first webnovel story! I hope you will enjoy it and help me make it better! I try to keep my chapter lenghts between 1,500-2,500 words The story will follow Silika, the young daughter of an aristocratic count who becomes handicapped and must adapt to a world not designed for people in her situation. She will have to struggle through her disability, religion, family, abuse, trauma and politics. The world will not be kind to her, but she will find her place. The tone is a bit darker at times in this story, but not in 'edgy' or 'grimdark' way. They reflect the main character's struggles. There will be happy times, funny times, but also sad times and painful time. The main character will grow and learn in what I hope will be a very interesting experience for you all to read!
