Tomorrow, it would be the festival. Class 1-A was training their butts off before the big event came. The fest would basically be like the Sports Festival, but there will be no team events and everyone will have to fight for themselves. It sounded fun, but I was kind of scared of being alone for the whole time. But it's all for the Licensing Exam and becoming a hero, right?

I was in my dorm, doing situps while going over my homework. I had to keep up on my cardio for the festival if I want to do well tomorrow. About to do my thirty-fifth situp, I got a text.

Are you nervous for tomorrow?

Kinda, are you?

Yeah, because my father will be there. He got all up in my face about me losing at the Sports Festival, and I'm not ready to get another lecture.

Well, I'm rooting for you!

: So am I. Make sure to get some rest, goodnight.

I will, goodnight to you too.

Setting my phone down, I took Shoto's advice and chose to get some sleep. I put away all my homework, threw on some PJ's, and crawled into my bed. Thinking whether tomorrow will incredibly amazing, or terribly horrible.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I set it to 4 a.m so I can get some more workout time before the festival. When I got out of my bed to change into some fitness clothing my phone was ringing, I saw it was my mother calling. Is she really calling at four in the morning? I asked myself. Thank the lord I was already up.

Picking up the phone, I heard my mom talking straight away. "Hello, honey! Did I wake you? If I did then I'm sorry and you can call me later so you can get some more sleep in for today-"

"I was awake before you called mom, it's fine," I told her, leaning on my dorm room wall.

"That's a relief," My mother said. "I was just calling to wish you good luck today! Can't wait to watch my little baby on TV again!"

I smiled, "thank you mom, that means a lot."

"You are so welcome, Izuku. I have to get ready for work, but I'll be done before the fest is on. I love you so much, good luck again!"

"I love you to mom, thanks again!" I heard my mom disconnect the call and I went back to working out for a short while. When the time was 4:40, I stopped and got into the showers and got ready for the school day.

Fixing up the tie on my uniform, I still had some time to relax in my dorm room. I sat down on my bed and read for a little while, trying to pass the time before school started. Reading also helped me calm down when I was nervous, like right now and with the training festival.

It was finally time to get to school. I grabbed my backpack and headed out of my dorm to get to school. I saw Uraraka racing to catch up and I stopped and waited for her. "Hey, Deku! Can you believe the festival is today?!"

I shook my head full of curly, jade hair no. "I can't. It seems so unreal it came around so quickly."

"I know right? I thought I was the only one who thought that!" Uraraka told me, still walking beside me to our school, which was the destination we were about to arrive in a few minutes.

Uraraka and I continued to talk about the festival and how we felt about it until we made it to UA campus. My friend and I parted ways because we needed to go to our lockers and get our stuff. I walked through the halls of my school, went to my locker, then started going to my homeroom.

As I walked Into class 1-A, I saw that Mr. Aizawa was already there and looking over some notes while the class was talking and bouncing around like usual.

"Midoriya, are you nervous for today?" Asui asked me, standing right by my seat.

"Totally. It's cool and scary at the same time," I replied to the frog girl.

Others from the class joined in on the conversation. "I feel the same way, Midoriya. It's so nerve-wracking one that we won't have teams with us," said Yaoyorozu.

"At least it's not as huge as The Sports Festival, so we can go easy on ourselves a little," Kirishima told us.

"It's still being televised though," Todoroki informed the redhead.

Leaning on my seat, I looked at all of my friends. "All we can do is doing our best and having fun," I told my peers for encouragement.

"That's a sentence is what a loser says," Kacchan commented. Kirishima punched his boyfriend's arms and Kacchan growled angerly but did nothing to the redhead next to him. That's true love, right there, I joked in my head.

I ignored the blonde's remark and we all continued to talk until it was class time. "Today is a big day, everyone," Mr. Aizawa announced to the classroom. "Now, just because this is more a training event and not so much a big deal as the Sports Festival, I still want you to give everything you got."

Mr. Aizawa then explained the instructions we had to follow. First, we had to get dressed in our gym clothes, then get down to our training room before the fest, next, we had to get down to the arena and wait for the fest to begin.

All of us got to the locker rooms to get changed and then we went to our training room. I started doing pushups and mountain climbers to get started. While I was doing my workouts, I had this nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach. Maybe it could be all about the fest, but I had a small feeling like it was something else. I just don't know what, though.

Sitting on the ground, I reached for my water bottle. While I was drinking my water, I caught a glimpse of Shoto. He was doing pull-ups on the pull-up bar and his gym shirt rid up his chest a little and I saw a good glimpse of his abs. I felt my face heat up and I coughed up my water somewhat.

"Are you okay, Deku?" Uraraka asked me.

I nodded, clearing up my throat. "I-I'm okay, just choked on my water a little."

The brunette saw me move my eyes toward Shoto and she smirked, "choking on water huh? Or was it because you saw your boyfriend's abs showing?"

My eyes widened and I told her to stop talking in case anyone heard her. My friend giggled and I felt embarrassed right at this very moment. While Uraraka kept laughing about what I did and me covering up my face due to the fact I was as red as a tomato, I heard our homeroom teacher opening the door, and telling us it was now festival time.
