《✶ c h a n g e d ✶ { Female Deku AU }》Twenty Eight

It's been a few weeks since Shoto and I have started dating. We've been working on keeping the fact that we were dating a secret, but I think that some of our classmates are kinda catching onto us.
Do you want to know how I know that? Well, the other day, while I was in the lunch line Kaminari and Ashido, came up to me and Ashido started the conversation with, "Hey, Midoriya. How has Todoroki been lately?" She asked.
I looked at her with a puzzled face, "why are you asking about Todoroki?"
"We just wanted to know because you've obviously been getting closer to him." Kaminari had a little smirk on his face as he said it.
"H-He's fine, I-I guess," I stammered somewhat, feeling like they knew what was going on.
A smile rose upon Ashido's coral lips. "That's good to hear! I and Kami over here have to get going, but we'll see you later."
"Yeah, see ya around!" Kaminari waved off, still having that smirk on my face. I stood in the lunch line for a while, worried that the secret was out and that those two told everyone in class 1-A. I got snapped out of my trance when some of my peers in the line yelled at me to move up. I did what they asked and kept walking to get my food.
Right now Shoto and I were hanging out in the Common Area with Asui, Uraraka, and Iida. All of us were in the middle of playing Uno.
Iida slammed down on the pile of Uno cards a color-changing card. "I'm changing the color to red."
"Dammit!" Shoto spoke while looking at his cards. I was guessing that there were no red in his deck and I giggled a little at his reaction.
"I'm putting down a Draw Two card," Asui smirked, looking over to Uraraka, who was right next to her. The brunette only had two cards left, but now she had to add two more because of Asui.
"That's unfair!" She slightly pouted, taking the cards from the deck and placing them in her deck.

I just simply placed a red 8 card on the pile, since I didn't have any special cards in my deck. Shoto smiled and placed a yellow 8 card on top of mine, now changing the color.
Iida then looked at his cards and a small smirk crept onto his mouth, he then placed one Wild card, one reverse card, and one skip card, after he did that he told the group, "Uno!"
Asui and Uraraka had their mouths open wide in shock, Shoto slammed his cards down on the table with a frown, and Iida looked proud of himself that he won the game. I looked a little surprised as well.
"This is why we don't play Uno with you, Iida," Asui stated, folding her arms across her chest.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Iida asked the girl with the long dark green hair.
"Because you always place your special cards at the end of the game and win, without even barely trying," Shoto told the boy with the blue hair.
"It's called having a strategy! You need to be prepared!" Replied Iida.
"It's just Uno, not a villain attack!" Said Uraraka.
"I agree with Uraraka, it is only a game, the point is to have fun," I told my friends, trying to get them to relax about the whole situation.
All of them gave me a look, and I looked back confused. I mean, that was the point of a game. You have to have fun to enjoy it. I think my friends think board games mean competing to the death to win the game. That takes all the fun out of it in my opinion.
While all my friends were conversing with each other, others then walked into the Common Area. "Hi, guys!" Yaoyorozu waved at us, sitting down in one of the chairs in the large room.
"Yeah, hey," Kirishima waved.
I said hello to all the people who entered the common room, which was most of the class except for a few people. I saw they were all turning on the TV and searching through the channels. "What's going on?" I asked my classmates.

"There's a huge recap on TV on famous Sports Festival clips and the Pro Heroes we know now in their younger years will be on there, oh is that Food Network?" Ashido explained to me and then got distracted by the channel that popped up on the screen.
I scooted closer to the TV and looked at the screen, waiting for the beginning of the recap to start. It sounded awesome to watch and everyone in the room was leaning towards the TV, waiting for the program to start like I was.
"I think watching this will help us learn some new techniques for training and fighting villains. Plus, it'll probably somewhat entertaining," Iida stated, looking at the large television in front of us.
"Watching this is definitely going to be entertaining," Sero added, then Kaminari and Sero started to snicker after his comment he made.
Then, the recap started all of my peers and I started watching. First, it showed All Might's first Sports Festival, and he looked soooo different back then.
"Whoa, is that All Might?" Asked Kirishima.
"He aged a lot!" Kaminari added.
"Guys, could you be quiet? We're trying to watch," Yaoyorozu told the two boys. They shut up but continued to whisper to each other about our teachers.
While watching all the rewinds of previous sports festivals, I noticed how many heroes have changed a lot. Present Mic had really short spiky hair and his glasses weren't as flashy as they are now, and Mr. Aizawa still looked the same, except a little less tired and no facial hair.
After watching multiple fights between Pro Heroes we knew and didn't, Endeavor appeared onto the screen, and he was battling All Might. Endeavor still had that crazy look in his eyes as he used his fire and I looked over at Shoto, who had an angry expression plastered onto his face.
"Oh, Todoroki. It's your dad!" Ashido pointed out, looking over at Shoto with her black and golden orbs.
Shoto looked the other direction and murmured, "father dearest."
While all the others were distracted, I moved closer to the red and white-haired male and whispered, "are you okay?"
He nodded, "I'm good, I just don't want to look at my father."
I put my hand over his, making it discreet, trying to comfort him a little. I then let go of his hand so no one didn't see but I still stayed by him, still watching the TV.
"Guys, you won't believe what I just heard!" Uraraka dashed into the classroom, panting and catching her breath a little.
"What is it, Uraraka?" Iida questioned, sitting down at his desk.
"When I was walking in the halls, the teachers were talking in a room. The door was open so I heard everything. They were talking about another event, like the Sports Festival, but slightly less important," The brunette informed us.
"Really? It's basically like a small time Sports Festival?" Jiro asked.
Uraraka nodded, "It's going to be televised too!"
"Sounds awesome!" Kirishima replied.
I looked at all my friends, "yeah, I can't wait!" I said excitedly.
Mr. Aizawa then slithered into the room in his yellow sleeping bag and ordered all of us to sit down in our seats. He then crawled out and started talking about the fest that Uraraka was just explaining to us, and he said that it was to help us get prepared for the Provisional Licensing exam.
I just sat in my seat and listened, but also drifting off into space at the same time thinking about the new festival coming up. I wonder what techniques I should use when all of us are fighting, oh! I wonder who I'll be fighting?!
My mind kept moving further and further away from focusing on my teacher that I heard Mr. Aizawa yelling my name trying to get me to focus. I apologized quickly and continued to pay attention to my advisor.
