Todoroki and I were walking back to my house hand-in-hand. Both of us kept smiling and looked at each other happily as we walked. I was feeling all giddy and overtook my whole body.
We arrived at my building. Todoroki and I stood at the entrance for a while in silence.
I then broke the quietness between us. "So, what does all of this mean?" I asked Todoroki.
"What do you mean?" Todoroki asked me.
"Like, are we dating or something? I'm not really that good at this whole romance thing and pretty much clueless. I mean, ask the girls! I didn't even know what a crush was-" I was rambling on and on.
"Midoriya." Todoroki cut me off, "Relax. I'm not that good at it either. And I don't know about the dating thing...I mean, do you want to?-"
"Yes," I answered him right away, I then realized what I did and started to feel embarrassed. "I said that a little too quickly, I'm sorry."
"It's fine. I guess I should ask you properly, would you like to my-"
"Yes!" I put my hands over my face, seriously regretting it. "I'm sorry! Seriously, put duct tape over my mouth or something!"
Todoroki chuckled slightly, "You don't need to apologize, It's okay. I now pretty much know your answer now."
I nodded, "Okay, I'll see you soon Todoroki-"
"Shoto."
"What?" I asked, turning around.
"Shoto, I want you to call me Shoto," Todo-Shoto told me.
"Okay, then I want you to call me Izuku," I smiled at him.
Shoto smiled and started to head off, "Goodbye, Izuku."
"Bye, Shoto!" I was about to head into my building, but instead, I turned around and rushed over by Shoto. I turned him around and gave him a kiss on the cheek before rushing back to my apartment, "Goodnight!" I smiled and waved at him. I saw a faint blush on his cheeks and Shoto awkwardly waved goodbye and started walking home.

I made it up to my apartment and unlocked the front door. There was a bright smile plastered on my face as I took off my shoes by the front door.
"How did it go, Izuku?" My mother called out to me from the kitchen, she then walked into the living room.
I smiled, "It was good..."
"That's great! Supper is almost ready, get in some pajamas and I'll finish making dinner." My mom headed back into the kitchen to finish up supper.
I walked into my bedroom and put on a t-shirt and PJ bottoms. I laid down on my bed and kept replaying the kiss with Shoto over and over in my head, and the image made me smile even wider. I can't believe that Shoto and I are dating, who would have thought that would happen? I asked myself, smiling off into space.
During the rest of the week, Shoto and I had been texting and calling each other for hours a day. We decided to keep our relationship a secret to the others since Shoto wasn't supposed to be dating anyone due to his father's rules, and we also weren't ready for us to be open yet.
Winter break was now over, and I got into my uniform and left my apartment. I hugged my goodbye and told her I would see her soon, I grabbed my stuff and headed off to U.A.
I pulled my jacket close to me and my whole body was shivering. I hated the fact that I was wearing a skirt in early January. I'm now wearing tights with my uniform, it's too cold for me to walk with my bare legs exposed to the freaking cold.
After suffering from the bitter cold, I finally made it to U.A. I was walking into the school when I felt someone grab my hand and pull me away from the sight of students. My heartbeat quickened and I thought it was a stranger or something. I turned my head and saw Shoto, immediately feeling relieved.

"S-Shoto? What are you doing?" I asked, still kinda surprised by Shoto pulling me to the side of the building.
"I didn't want anyone to see me doing this," Shoto then kissed me softly on the lips. I smiled and wrapped my arms around my boyfriend's neck, melting into the sweet kiss.
We then broke apart and my face was a blushing mess, I then asked the boy in front of my a question, "How were you the past few days?"
"Well, my father got pissed, like always, that I snuck out and made me clean the whole entire house and shovel all around our house, but it wasn't that big of a deal," said Shoto.
I looked down, a sad expression was plastered onto my face. I felt like all of the trouble Shoto was getting into was all because of me. Shoto must have seen my expression because he put his hand on my shoulder and looked at me with a concerned look to his face. "Izuku? What's wrong?" He asked.
"It's just..." I started, "I feel like all of this crap your dad is giving you is all my fault," I confessed to Shoto.
"Izuku, it's not your fault at all," The red and white-haired male reassured me. "It's mine for being a disappointment." After Shoto said that, he chuckled slightly.
"Why are you laughing about that?" I asked.
"Because one minute I'm this 'Precious, Powerful Creation' to my father, next I'm a 'Huge Disgrace to The Todoroki Family Name.'"
I looked at Shoto, then the bell rang. "Come on, we don't want to be late for class," I said, and we walked into UA together, slightly holding hands, trying to disguise them so no one would see us doing so.
I went to sit down at my desk and was greeted by Uraraka and Asui right away. "Deku! We've missed you!" Uraraka exclaimed, giving me a huge hug.
"You got that right," Asui smiled, giving me a small hug after Uraraka practically jumped onto me.
I smiled and hugged my friends back, "I missed you guys too! How was your break?" I asked the two.
Asui, Uraraka, and I all talked about how great our breaks were and how happy we were to see each other again. Don't get me wrong, I loved hanging out and talking to Shoto the whole break, but I really needed to spend time with my best friends after a week of being apart.
While my friends and I chatted, I felt really happy to be back at UA. I missed being back here, hanging with everyone in the common room, and training. I was mostly happy because Shoto and I were finally together, and I wish I could tell Ausi and Uraraka right now but I wanted to respect me and my boyfriend's privacy. If someone found out about us when we weren't ready, Endeavor would hear about it straight away and punish Shoto, and I don't want that to happen to him.
How would Endeavor find out exactly? Well, here's what I forgot to mention. Shoto told me the day after we kissed about how we would need to have some rules about our relationship, you know, like being discreet in public and not telling anyone about us. The reason we need to do that was that Endeavor had little 'Spies' looking over Shoto, making sure he was doing what he was told by his father.
That's how Endeavor always finds out when Shoto was doing something that he wasn't supposed to, like sneaking out to meet me and going to the winter dance. At first, I thought that was kinda extra to hide from everyone else, but when Shoto told me that he and I could be in huge danger if we got found out.
I really hope we don't, though.

Flashback: Siren Song
The year is 1969. Yancy Lazarus—bluesman, gambler, future world-class mage and fix-it man—is just a dumb, unlucky kid serving with the 3rd Battalion 3rd Marines in Vietnam. With just a few weeks left to go until Yancy gets shipped back to the States, he’s just trying to keep his head down and avoid a body bag—no mean feat in Nam. But when his squad is tasked with conducting a routine patrol deep in enemy territory, everything goes to nine kinds of hell, and he quickly sees his chances at survival slipping away. When the radio operators start to pick up some funky, dirty ol’ blues all the way out in the backcountry, it’s a nice change of pace. At least until the men in Yancy’s squad start losing their minds, turning on each other with murderous intent as the music works its deadly power within them. Convinced it’s some kind of new psychological warfare initiative, the squad leader forces the men to push deeper and deeper into the Vietnamese jungle, obsessed with locating the music’s source. What they find, however, isn’t some new technology, but an ancient spirit awoken by the terrible war. Even worse, the music is changing Yancy too, awakening something buried inside of him. Only one thing is certain, nothing is ever going to be the same.See how it all began … *** PRAISE FOR SIREN SONG:Hunter's writing is as low-down, gritty, and insidious as the blues Yancy Lazarus loves. Just like the mysterious music drifting through the jungle toward Yancy's squad, Siren Song will get under your skin and sink its hooks into your mind. —eden Hudson, Author of Halo Bound (the Redneck Apocalypse series) *** Hey everyone, this is James Hunter.
