《That Day // Villain Deku》Chapter 24 : Phase Two...

"Kurogiri."
"Yes, Young-Yagi?"
"I need a warp gate back to Musutafu."
"Ah, I was wondering when you'd be returning to the League. Shall I meet you and Stain here in an hour?"
"..."
"Hello?-"
"No. I need a warp gate right now, and Stain will not be joining me."
"Might I ask why?"
"..."
"Ok, send me the coordinates of your location and I'll open a gate for you."
"36.2048, 138.2529"
"Thank you, I will open a warp gate from your location to the bar. See you in a moment."
I pressed the end call button as the words of confirmation rendered through my mind. Seeing the purple mist begin to grow in front of me, I stepped forwards.
All I could see was red. All I could smell was the sickeningly sweet smell of blood. All I could hear was an ear-piercingly high ringing. All I could think of, was what would have happened if I hadn't left.
Stain would still be here.
I am going to enact my revenge on those bastards whom had ended the life of my Master. I am going to find an opportunity to end them all in the slowest, most painful way possible.
Escaping the metallic smell, I entered the bar. It smelled like alcohol and regrets. Waiting for me, was Shigaraki and Kurogiri. They seemed to be excited that I was back. I was happy to see them all again as well. After all...
They're my family.
I looked towards them and nodded before walking to my room. I was so tired. I needed to think. Think about my options. Options of what to do now. My Master just died, and it was the fault of the three people whom had turned me into the monster I've become.
No.
I'm not a monster.
I'm the person I've always been.
A warm liquid started to drip down my arms. I looked towards my arms, noticing my nails dug deep into them. My nails were covered in the crimson liquid I had remembered so well, and my nose was once again enveloped in the metallic substance I had longed for.
They're the monsters.
"Yagi."
I looked up and saw that my door had been opened. There in the frame, stood Shigaraki. He wore a look of concern as his eyes wandered my figure.
"I just checked the news..." He stared at me, his features contorted in pity.
I had known that Shigaraki hadn't liked Master much. I think he thought Stain was taking me away from him, and to be fair, I did leave with him for a few weeks, so his nerves weren't misplaced.
In his face I could tell he shared my emotions. Although faint, they were still present. I could just tell. However, I had no idea what those emotions were representing. I knew he didn't like Master, so why did he seem so distraught over the death of his one-sided rival?
"If you need to talk, I want you to know I'm here for you..." He took a breath, trying to find the next words he'd utter to cheer me up. "I think of you as a little brother, y'know..."
"Yeah, thanks Shigaraki..."
"You can call me Tomura, I don't mind..."
I looked up at him and smiled sweetly at his words. It crossed my mind that he was trying to make an effort to help me through this difficult time. Maybe he was empathizing with me... He too has a Master, so I guess he can understand how terrible I feel.

As well as the death of my Master, he was murdered by the people whom had ruined my life. The people whom had abused and harassed me through out the majority of my time on Earth. That's just the cherry on top. The ribbon to tie it all together.
"Thanks Tomura, you can call me Izuku..."
He smiled at me and started to leave before turning back towards me. He opened his mouth and words that I hadn't expected flowed from it.
"Oh yes, I almost forgot..." He paused for a moment.
"Master wants to speak to you."
"What was it that you wanted to talk about, Shoto-kun?"
I glanced around the room and frantically flickered my eyes from person to person. I was currently siting in the Yagi's living room with Bakugou, Izumi, Mrs. Yagi, and Mr. Yagi.
It's been a few days since my encounter with the Hero Killer, and since I had seen Izuku. The internships had just ended and I needed to tell someone about this. Of course, I couldn't tell just anyone...
I clenched my fists as I stared at the floor. I didn't know how to say it. I could barely muster up the courage to even ask to talk. As I felt their impatient gazes on me intensify, Bakugou spoke up.
"Well? Spit it out!-"
"Izuku."
The already silent room went dead quiet as I uttered that name. I could feel the tension building between the five of us. It was so silent, you could hear a pin drop.
"I-I..."
I could feel the tears starting to build in my eyes as I struggled to choke out the words I had been meaning to vocalize. The stares of shock only grew as I quickly turned into a stuttering mess.
"I... I saw Izuku a few days ago..."
"What are you talking about? He died..."
"If this is your idea of a joke, it's not funny, Young-Todoroki..."
My eyes widened as they spoke.
Do they not believe me?
Of course they don't believe me!
I don't even believe me...
I'm practically saying I saw a dead man walking. Except he was perfectly alive. He even seemed to be thriving.
"I swear! Izumi was there too!"
"What? When was this?"
"Agony."
Everyone other than Izumi and I looked shocked as I uttered the villain's name. Of course they would be confused, only Izumi, Iida, Native and I were aware of the villain's bizarre name.
"What? What do you mean?"
"Agony is the name of one of the villains Izumi and I fought in Hosu. Well, we didn't really fight him... We basically just had our asses handed to us the entire time he was there..."
"What are you talking about? You only fought the Hero Killer, right?" Mr. Yagi's voice interrupted my thinking out loud with his own question.
"No, Shoto's right, there was another villain..." She paused before continuing. "And yeah, he did have green eyes that matched Izuku's, but plenty of people have green eyes.-"
"No! He took of his mask after you fainted!" I cried out in annoyance. "He had Izuku's freckles, his eyes, I could slightly see his fluffy, green hair! I'm telling the truth!"
"We all know that's impossible, Todoroki! He had an open-casket funeral for God's sake!" Bakugou's voice erupted through out the whole of the house. "You need to let it go..."
It was dark and ominous in the room. I was always nervous in dark rooms. It makes me feel alone. Like I'm falling in a deep void of nothingness, being forgotten by anyone and everyone whom had once known me.

Dark rooms, void of any light freak me out. I guess it could also be that the darkness metaphorically transports me back to the days of my misery, despair, and torturous way of life before I escaped into the light of villainy.
Ironic.
I feel more alive now that I'm dead; although, I'm alive.
"I had heard of Stain's death. I send my condolences."
I nodded and thanked All For One for his kind words.
There must be more...
I highly doubt All For One, of all people, would call me to the viewing room just to talk about my Master's recent death. Usually, when he had a message for me, he would send it through Tomura.
There must be more...
I subtly glared towards the one person standing in my way. The one person standing in the way of my scheme. The one person who can prevent me from reaching my goal.
My goal of changing the minds of the public. My goal of curing society from the hero plague, infecting the innocent and simple minded. Infecting those, blinded by the shining light glowing from the monsters we call 'heroes'.
A knock sounded on the door, pulling me from my thoughts as I glanced upwards. There in the doorframe, stood a man in sunglasses stood with two other people beside him.
The man was dressed in a fitting purple suit, tailor made to fit his form perfectly. His semi-see-through sunglasses, shading his eyes delicately. His hair was a darker shade of grey, and his face was set in light wrinkles, further expressing his middle age.
To the right of the unfamiliar man, stood a blonde girl. She was dressed in a beige cardigan, overtop a navy blue school-girl's uniform. Complimenting the undershirt, her matching mini-skirt swished about, following her hip movements as she swayed impatiently. Finishing the look, she wore a vibrant red tie.
Her ash-blonde hair was styled in twin, messy buns, letting her bangs hang down over her face. She wore a childish grin on her face as she glanced around the bar with awe-stricken eyes. My best guess for age would be around fifteen to seventeen or so. Around my age.
The other person beside the man, was a dark-haired man wearing a deep-blue jacket and a low-cut V-neck t-shirt underneath. His black, spiky hair complemented his gorgeous, electric-blue eyes.
The features I noticed standing out the most were his scars. I felt my eyes wandering the man's figure, taking note of every scar present on his body. They flowed from his collarbone to his bottom lip, from his bottom lip to his ears. As well as underneath his eyes. The burnt flesh was attached by mere staples.
That's not sanitary.
I took note of his height and features, making a mental persona as detailed and accurate as humanly possible. He looked to be at least twenty to twenty-three years old.
I watched as his eyes roamed around the base, until finally landing on mine. I looked towards Shigaraki and Kurogiri, both to break eye contact with the man, and to ask who they were.
"Shigaraki! Your League Of Villains have been the talk of the town lately. Word is, you're about to start something big."
"Ah, Giran, it's a pleasure to see you. What inspires your gracing us with your presence?"
Kurogiri's voice echoed throughout the base, and I felt the pair of eyes currently mentally-undressing me, tear away from my being.
Thank God, Kurogiri.
Dude was starting to freak me out...
"So it's really you? I've seen you in pictures, but I've gotta say... You're way grosser in person."
"Wow! It's the weird hand guy! You were friends with my hero, Stain, right? Cool! Let me join the League... I wanna be in your group!"
"These two heard of Stain's death and motives as a liberator." The man, whom I'd assume to be Giran, spoke in an upbeat tone.
"Ok, so what? Why should we care?"
I noticed all eyes turn towards Tomura as his snarky, and obviously annoyed voice rung out through the bar.
"They want to join the organization that the Hero Killer had served in."
Who is this guy?
I figured that he must have some affiliations to the League, but I couldn't understand what those ties were...
"Kurogiri, get these two out of my sight. I can already tell they're exactly the kinds of people I hate."
"Now, now, Shigaraki, they came all this way. Let's hear them out. Besides, this man is a well respected broker in the underworld, they're bound to be valuable assets."
"Like it or not, you still owe me a finders fee. In cash. I suppose I could introduce them before I go." The man, Giran, I think, spoke.
"This one looks like an adorable high school girl, right? She's actually the suspect in a series of deaths where the victims all bled out. Her name and face has been kept out of the media so far.
"Toga here. Himiko Toga. I just want to make it easier to make it in this dumb world. I want to be Mister Stainy. I want to kill Mister Stainy. Come on handy-man, please let me join your League of Villains."
"And this guy, he hasn't committed any flashy crimes, but he's really taken Stain's ideology to heart."
"I see no point... Is your group really dedicated to the Hero Killer's mission? Obviously not if you're gonna let this psycho join... This was a waste of time."
"She may be a psycho, but at least she knows how to introduce herself... Come on, what's your name?"
"Right now I'm going by Dabi..."
"No-"
"Hah- Leave him alone Tomura... Hey, I'm Yagi Izuku." I spoke, breaking the tension between the man and my 'big brother' before it ended in bloodshed.
"You don't know if our League really cares to carry on the ideals and aspirations of Stain? Well, I can tell you for a fact that we totally do... After all, my Master and I have always had the same mindset."
The girl's eyes widened as she realized what I had said.
That, Stain, was my Master.
That, Stain, was my teacher, and I were his student.
"All Might, Attraction, Endeavour, they're all full of shit. I'd like to take their bodies and dismember them in the most slow and gruesome ways imaginable. Then, hopefully with them still alive, I'd like to burn them alive." I paused as I thought of the satisficing cries of agony that would escape their lips as I burned them all to a crisp.
"And I think you could help me with that goal... What do you say? Still think we're a waste of time? We obviously have the same ideals and goals."
"And those are?"
"To rid the world of the virus known as the heroes, and carry on the legacy of my Master."
The blue-eyed man stared at me, still with the same bored expression. I watched his lips as they curled up into a sinister grin.
"I'm in."
The door quickly shot open, revealing the Traitor. They looked worn out and sweaty from where I had been sitting.
"Heyo! I heard we've gotten new recruits!" Their voice was more energetic than usual, and that's really saying something.
I nodded my head with exhaustion at the energetic U.A Student, pointing towards the newest recruits.
Toga Himiko, and Dabi.
"Hey wait... I know you! You're that kid from U.A's Sports Festival! What's a hero in training like you doing in a Villain Group?" Toga's questioning and annoying voice rung through my ears.
Ever since she saw me all bloody after a midnight mission, she's been clinging to me like a fruit-roll up wrapper. Those damn things always seem to stick to me....
"Oh, I'm working undercover and gaining information for the League. Like a spy."
"That's so cool!"
As they talked and introduced themselves to one-another, I sat thinking. I have too many goals floating through my mind. I have to pick one and follow it for a while.
Somehow I need to make all of my goals cross paths and merge into one.
Although I'd love to enact my most recent goal, inspired by my chat with All For One, I think the first thing I should get done, is my plan for Todoroki.
"Oh yeah, Yagi, I came here to tell you something."
I looked up from my notebook to see my friend gazing at me from across the bar as they started to walk towards me. I closed my book and waited for the Traitor to elaborate further.
"The Hero Course students are going to a training camp over summer break. It's completely isolated, and I don't think I'll have any service out there, so I'm going to be off the grid for a while."
I stared up at the person in front of me in shock as an idea popped into my mind.
"Where exactly is this training camp again?"
"Uhm, I'm not exactly sure..."
"Could you find out?"
"Yeah, I could do some digging... Why though?"
"I think this could serve as an opportunity..."
"For what?"
"To enact phase two..."

8 294The Archaic Elements
A fantasy world, its own unique power-up system, some mystery aspects to make it look interesting and an MC that should make sense but well messes up, cause plot. Flashy fights. Characters will use their brain, unless it is an arrogant young master that needs to be taught a lesson. The starting is slow and maybe boring. The main MC does not desire great strength or harbor any great ambition. He starts out as a naive, lazy and a boring person. But the story does hold one aspect which will fuel the growth of our MC, which is his boundless curiosity for adventure and his will to explore. The second MC is a reincarnation/transmigration and he has a clear cut aim that he needs to achieve. His past life experiences also becomes a pillar that will help guide the main MC, while his friend also supports him. The writing is slow and steady. I will provide reasonings behind most happenings and keep it a logical story. It's a WIP as I edit the previous chapters even as I release more, so while the content doesn't change, the style and smoothness improve. The current release rate is 3 chapter/week. There is no specific date as I can get sidetracked or forgetful., but I will try to stick to Tues, Thurs and Sunday releases.
