《The healer Deku》Chapter 14

Here we see our protagonist in the middle of some lab in Japan. Why? He was asked to by a certain furry.
Izuku sat infrint of Nezu, sipping on tea the day after the USJ. Half an hour of silence and drinks with the principal was very... behaviour.
"Is there a reason why I'm called here principal Nezu?" The boy broke the silence.
"Why yes. I needed to ask a favour of you."
"A favour?"
"Yes, I just said that. It's to do with the nomu creature."
"What about it?"
"It's currently held in a top notch facility but the doctors can't seem to identify what it is or if it's even human."
"So you want me to figure out its genetics?"
"Precisely."
"Me, a student?"
"Yes Midoriya, did you not hear me the first time. Naturally Recovery Girl and I along with a bunch of 'experts' will be there as well."
"Ok, seems legit."
The second Izuku entered the building and showed his entrance card, he was suddenly whisked away by a bunch of security guards into an underground lab.
After a bunch of weird tests, Nezu entered the room and motioned Izuku to follow.
"Nezu... what the heck?"
"NO TIME TO WASTE MIDORIYA! WE ARE GOING TO IMMERSE OURSELVES INTO THE WORLD OF INTELLECT AND GENETICS!!"
The boy slowly scooted away next to a familiar old hero. "Drunk on tea?"
"Drunk on tea." Recovery Girl confirmed.

The group arrived in a small white room where the nomu was being held. While the others were looking on data that Izuku and Nezu deemed worthless after putting on sun glasses inside, the boy and the bear continued to approach it.
Izuku stared at the Nomu's dull eyes and slowly lifted his arms so that his hands could be placed in front of the creature. His hands began to glow as he tried to study the genetic atrocity before him.

Many images and memories came through the boys head. Ripped parts of corpses, human experimentation, the blood curling screams of the doctors victims, even past moments and lives of the many people stacked into one being.
Izuku quickly put his hands down and backed away from the pitiful being(s). This had gained the attention of all the people in the room.
Nezu pattes the boys back. "What did you see."
"Everything but not enough."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Some scientist asked.
"Geez, get with the flow k a r e n , obviously the boy just did a body analysis with his quirk but also saw some information in forms of flashbacks that may or may not have any relevance towards the plot of this story." Nezu deadpanned while looking straight into space.
"Okay, 1) I feel attacked, 2) my name is Jessica, not Karen and 3) not everyone has a quirk that makes then geniuses." Kar- I mean Jessica retorted.
The group of scientists now sat in a room review the data but that doesn't matter because the only people that honestly matter is Nezu, Recovery Girl and Deku because they are part of the main cast.
"This Nomu creature is definitely not human, due to the genetic variety found in its composition, it's safe to assume that it is the result of experimentation far beyond our knowledge." Nameless scientists #1 said.
Nameless scientist #2 nodded his head. "Agreed, wh-"
"OOOOHHH MY TEA, WON'T YOU IDIOTS SHUT UP ALREADY." Nezu k i n d l y interrupted.
"Excuse me bu-"
Before nameless scientist #3 could defend #2 he was once again interrupted by our favourite tea furry.
"You're excused, now can we please get on with it."
"Very well the principal Nezu , what do you suggest."

Jessica spoke.
" Well-"
"Anyways, I'm sure Midoriya has seen stuff that might explain more stuff." Recovery Girl tried to butt in but she was a pure healer, she had no idea what the hell she was doing here, a research lab. What did they want her to do, kiss it?
"Might as well." A certain attention loving bearmousthing scowled.
The green bean, who has been relooking through the Nomu's memories and somehow managed to communicate with it looked at the group. "Okay, what do you need?"
"Let's start easy, how old do you think the Nomu is?"
Nameless scientist #2 started.
"I'm not sure, mind turning on the mic so we could communicate?"
While the rest were in sweat drop, Recovery Girl, the only one used to bullshit, turned on the mic and deadpanned when Izuku started squawking. If you look close enough, you could see her life her soul when the Nomu squawked back in response.
Deku turned around like nothing happened. "He said four years but the main host of the experiment was in his thirties."

Cybernetic Dragon
Idea Seven, or Inter Dimensional Explorer Automaton Unit-7, has had a bit of an accident. Hijacking the egg of a dragon rather than its intended target of a bird egg, it isn't fully in control of its host brain. Rather the two, dragon and cybernetic AI interface, must work together to survive in a hostile world of magic, dungeons, beasts and adventurers. The AI must deal with being a machine from a world of science trying to carry out its mission of exploration, while the dragon, Rex, must deal with being a cyborg living with symbiotic nanotech that sets him apart from other dragons. What adventures await them? Author Note: I tagged this story GameLit because it contains concepts like levels, classes, and dungeon/beast cores. But, it isn't tagged LitRPG because no one has status screens, other than occasionally Idea Seven who likes to organize data into blue boxes. It isn't a natural function of the world to display level ups or skill ups with an announcer voice. I mention this to set expectations, because otherwise I feel like LitRPG fans might be disappointed by my lack of LitRPG elements while others might be turned off thinking I have a lot of LitRPG elements. I think that if you approach the story with an open mind you will appreciate the gradual way in which the main character learns and expands his understanding of how the world works, but the game mechanics aren't meant to take center stage to the actual story.

Artifice: Iysinfyr
Nalulthyn is the young daughter of a duke that is one day asked for a favor. This favor involves the adopted daughter of the duke from a neighboring area. This girl has had a traumatic past and has closed herself off from the world completely and reacts violently when touched by anyone but her personal maid. The duke hopes that a girl close to the age of his adoptive daughter will be what she needs to recover, but things are never as easy as they seem. First is that this adopted daughter is a Terran, a rare being from a different world that has skin and hair as white as snow and an almost alien build. Second is that there is a power to this girl, one that makes her recovery all the more dangerous to Nalulthyn and perhaps beyond. Author's note: This is a soft reboot of Artifice: Tools of the Gods. As I wrote the other story years ago I felt it would be better to do this approach as my writing has changed and improved since then. For now only two characters will return though I might reintroduce others later in the story. Even though this has the gore tag, I don't plan on being excessive with it. Most chapters shouldn't have any. The only reason I have it is to be realistic with the descriptions.

Voidsong (A NaNoWriMo 2018 winner)
Synopsys: The Empire thought humanity died, and forgot all about it. The Empire is mistaken. A Note From the Author: This story was written as a National Novel Writing Month 2018 entrant. As such, its entire 50,000+ word length was written between November 1, 2018 and November 31, 2018. Overall, I would consider this no more than a polished draft. In that vein, the chapters have no names, only numbers. Special thanks to Chronus on youtube for answering my questions on NATO radio procedures! My Apologies to the Finnish Language, which I have abused in (probably) unforgivable ways to create Twisted Empire names. If anyone is interested, break the names up by commas and toss them into your favorite translation program (I used Google Translate, and tried to avoid umlauts and other accents) for some semi bilingual boni. If I got something wrong (and I know I did… somewhere…) let me know over on reddit and I will see what I can do to fix the mistake. Lyrics, where included, are cited in footnotes.
