into Emily's with her best girls right behind her, everyone paused what they were doing and smiled. Almost instantly, both cute little Seth and Lizzie perked up, smiling at eachother. Once Embry spotted Josie, he choked on the cookie he was snacking on, and fell out of his chair. Josie giggled at the sight, blushing when he stood up instantly and kept eye contact with her.
"So..." Clary trailed off. "You guys already know Paul, Seth, Jacob, Jared, and Embry," She said, gesturing to the boys. "But, this is Sam, Leah, and Emily." She smiled as Emily handed her a sandwich. "Thanks, Em."
"You're so beautiful," Josie said, looking at Emily with kind eyes.
Leah huffed and went to storm out of the house, knocking shoulder with Hope who turned to her quickly. Leah glanced back at Hope on her way out, and her eyes widened and she seemed to stop breathing for a second before she physically shook her head, and continued her way out of the house.
Clary's eyes widened as she saw the interaction, having a feeling on what just happened. She wanted to shout at Leah to come back and speak to Hope, but she remembers how Leah told her the story about Sam and her seeing as they got close over the past few days. So, she sighed and didn't say anything. Leah will come back and speak to Hope when she feels comfortable enough to do so.
"Hey," Seth said, approaching Lizzie with puppy eyes. Clary, Josie, and Hope turned to watch the interaction. "Can I, erm, can you talk a walk with me?"
Lizzie brightened up and smiled, nodding. "Yeah, sure." She trailed after Seth, sending her best friends a look. They all three gave her a thumbs up and watched as both girls and boys disappear into the woods.
Clary let out a little screech as Paul came up behind her and twirled her around. They both laughed and smiled at eachother as he placed her back on the ground.

"Paul!" Clary exclaimed, slapping his chest.
Josie and Hope looked to eachother, smiling. They both knew that Clary needed this, needed Paul. They've seen her struggle for so long, so she needed this happiness, she needed this love, the love that Paul was giving her.
"So, you're a different type of wolf, right?" Hope blurted out, making everyone freeze and turn to Clary who shrunk back slightly. "What?"
Clary turned to Hope with wide eyes. "I haven't exactly told them... yet."
Hope's eyes grew wide as she looked around at everyone. "Oops."
"Tell us what?" Sam questioned, stepping forward like the alpha he was. He was looking at Clary, basically demanding her to tell him what she hasn't told them.
Clary huffed. "I think it'd be best if we went outside for this," She said, walking out of the house, not giving any room for anyone to do or say anything.
"Why do we need to be outside for this?" Embry questioned, looking to Clary with raised eyebrows. He was very confused, but intrigued. He was sticking close to Josie who kept twiddling with her hands in nervousness. It was either because what they were about to be shown or because she was close to Embry.
"Girls?" Clary turned to Josie and Hope who stood on each side of her. It was kinda sad that Lizzie wasn't here to help them put on a show, but they all knew her and Seth were having an important conversation.
The girls held onto eachothers hands and muttered a spell under their breaths, focusing on a log that they used for bonfires. They'd raised their hands and the log followed their movement. It floated about five feet off of the ground.
The pack gasped and took a step back, all except Paul who was grinning at his girl.
"What are you?" Emily asked, amazed and curious. She has never seen anything like that before.
"We're witches," Hope spoke up, taking her hand away from her friends. "To be specific, Josie and Lizzie are siphoner's which means they don't have their own magic, but have to borrow it from something else that does."

"That's so cool," Embry breathed out and sent a smile and wink to Josie who nervously giggled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"And Hope and I aren't just witches," Clary hesitantly spoke up, glancing over at her bestfriend. "Hope is a tribrid — part witch, wolf, and vampire." A few members of the pack, more specifically, Sam took a step forward and growled. "But not the kind of wolf and vampire you know," She quickly spoke up. "Our werewolves have to kill someone to trigger our curse and we have to break all our bones while transforming. And, our vampires don't sparkle in the sun like a fucking disco ball, but actually go up in flame, and their skin isn't hard like stone. They actually have a beating heart and blood rushing through them, they can even eat human food," She explained. "And before you judge Hope, she actually hasn't triggered her vampire side, yet, so she's just a hybrid, like me."
"What do you mean "like you"?" Emily asked, looking at the red head, having a feeling on what she was going to say.
Clary sucked in a breath. "I'm a hybrid — a witch and werewolf."
"Why didn't you tell us?" Jacob asked, looking at her with wide eyes. "You knew about us."
Clary sighed. "Because, I have people to protect, more specifically, a school to protect from hunters and anyone that wants to hurt people like us."
Paul smiled at his girl before frowning, her words finally catching up to him. "Wait, what? School?"
Josie stepped forward now. "Mine and Lizzie's dad own a school for the supernatural," She said. "Clary's mom is married to our dad, so she also owns it, as well."
Paul frowned, looking to Clary who didn't want to look him in the eyes. "Why didn't you tell me this?"
Hope gave him a look. "Because, our school is already under a threat. What if someone were to hear about it and start blabbing off, alerting hunters that there is a school full of supernatural creatures that they can kill? It's not safe for too many people to know about it's existence."
"We wouldn't tell anyone," Paul spoke, his eyebrows furrowed. "We have a secret that needs to be hidden, as well."
Clary looked up at him. "I was just protecting the people I love. You should understand that."
Paul nodded and walked over to her, placing his hands on her cheeks, smiling lightly. "I understand, I do, but you should know that you can tell me anything."
Clary smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist and laid her head on his head. "I know."
He kissed her forehead and pulled away from her, smiling. "How about we go inside, eat, wait until Lizzie and Seth come back so that we can talk some more, yeah?"
The girls nodded and walked into the house.
While they waited for Lizzie and Seth to get back, Embry finally gained some courage to talk to Josie, wanting to get to know her more before telling her about the imprint. They were both so adorably nervous about the whole thing until Josie — being the person who can't hold back her mouth when she's too nervous — blurted out that she knew she was his imprint.
Everyone had paused and laughed at Embry who seemed to not know what to say. He stuttered out a reply before chuckling to himself and telling her that she is one smart witch.
Once Lizzie and Seth came back all happy and holding hands, everyone started to tell their stories about how they came to be what they were, and about anything else they could think about.

The Book of Rune
If you like moderately well-researched semi-medieval military logistics with some fantasy twists, and also conspiracy, and exploration, and violence, and maybe a dash of road movie, hey, Ruen just might be your thing. Plot-wise, basically there's a guy who got fired by Death, a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and a slave general who wouldn't mind retiring but ended up on a mass suicide mission. If you were looking for a less TL;DR version, a guy who got fired by Death meets a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and they try to get the guy un-fired while also trying to come to terms with death together (ooohhhh, look, I'm deep). Meanwhile a slave general does something stupid and ends up being sent on a suicide mission, and he tries to wreak havoc and save lives at the same time. The threads come together, I swear. This is a rough draft of a fantasy semi-book that I've had in the back of my head for some time. I've written a variety of short stories set in the world over the past three years, and I finally kicked myself into writing the actual story. Very much a slow work in progress. Occasional violence (okay, well, maybe more than occasional), occasional foul language.
