"Madison, are you going to the company?" I asked as I placed my things inside my bag, ready to head out.

"Yeah, let's go together" She smiled. I agreed and we then got into my car and drove to my mom's building.

I got inside my mom's office and placed my bag on one of her long sofas. "Where's mom?" I asked her secretary, who was arranging files inside.

"In a meeting, Miss" She said.

Her meetings usually take an hour or more, so I scattered my homework on the table and started answering it. I love doing homework in her office, it's so peaceful and the warm colors completes it.

"Hey, Li-" A guy barged into the office, without even knocking, it was Finn, again! He stopped in the middle of his sentence when our eyes met. "Oh, hello"

"Hi" I said with no expressions and continued on writing my essay.

"So, uh.. Lilliana, my mom's looking for this certain folder? She said she gave it to Mrs. Celeste 2 days ago" He said after standing up properly. Lilliana's my mom's secretary.

"Don't you think you should address her name as Secretary Jones?" I said without looking at him and just focused on my laptop.

"I'm sorry?" He confusingly said. "But do you still have it?" He asked the secretary.

"Uh yes, here" She handed him the folder and left.

She's always like this when I'm in the office. I understand her, but it's rare for us to have quality time with her. We do go on vacations, but mostly because of work. They're even too busy to take us with them to different places, Lucas and I would just stay in the hotel room ans play around with our phones.

Saturday morning, I woke up early to take a jog around the neighborhood. I always go for a jog on Saturday mornings to calm my mind.

I stopped by the park in the neighborhood, I took off my AirPods and just stared at it. Children playing, old people playing chess, people walking their dogs, and some couples.

"Hello" A voice appeared that made me jump. I turned to look and it was Finn, again!

"Shit, you scared me!" I slapped him in the shoulder, but not too hard.

"Oh, sorry" He chuckled.

"I keep on being in the same place with you, and even here?" I looked at him furiously.

"What? I can't take a walk around my neighborhood?" He looked at me. He lives here? Why does every place have to be somewhat connected with him.

"So you live here.." I sighed.

"What? You want the house for take out too now?" He laughed.

"Excuse me? I've lived here way before you did" I rolled my eyes.

"Right. You weren't informed I lived here since I was a child, but then we eventually had to move, so now I'm back" He kept his smile on his face, looking at me, like he was teasing me.

"Why are you always with me" I whispered.

"Hm?"

"Nothing. Anyways, I have to go" I gave him a small smile before walking away.

It was all fine when we always meet in other places, but seriously? Even in my neighborhood? Unbelievable!

Next saturday, I woke up early again to walk my dog. I don't usually walk her, but I wanted to take a look if Dahlia jogs this morning.

I don't know why, but I always wanted to know if I'll see her this day, you know, other than school.

As I was almost there at the park, I saw her again, with an AirPod on her hand, just standing there outside the park, looking at the people inside, just like last saturday.

"Oh, you're here again" I said. I acted as if I wasn't staring at her for a minute.

"Yeah" She said, again with that serious look on her face, ane without even looking at me. She's just focused on the park.

"There's a gate you know, you can use that to go inside" I pointed out.

"I have no plans on going inside"

"Then why do you keep on staring at it so heavily? Did you kill someone there?" I joked.

Then she slapped me on my shoulder. She really has this funny habit. "The fuck?! No! I just have a memory of it, that's all" She rolled her eyes, and that too, she keeps on rolling her eyes, she has a lot of habits she has to work on.

"What memory?" I asked. The park was familiar to me too, but I might be wrong.

"I don't know, I never told anyone, it's not anything serious anyway"

"You can tell me. I don't mind" I looked at her.

"Fine" She sighed. "When I was a child, about 5 or 6, my dad would always take me here, at the park. I met a boy, around my age, and we would always play together, every weekend. Until he suddenly never showed up again. I waited for him, every weekend, I would still get so excited on playing with him again, but we never met again. He suddenly... disappeared. Whenever I look at this park, I would always remember us"

I looked at the park again, it did seem familiar. I wouldn't say I have gone here, there are many boys, I just don't remember anything from this park. Just.. familiar.

"Do you know his name?" I asked.

"No"

"What? You've been playing with him, but you have no idea who he is?" I raised my brow at her.

"We always do roleplays, so we call eachother our name in our favourite roleplay. I'd rather not tell you what those names are, it sounds too childish" She gave me a small smile.
