Red blinked his eyes open, his sleep blurred gaze coming into contact with sharp, jade green eyes. He smiled a little before yawning.
"Morning," he said, stretching a little.
"Morning, hows the best champion in the world doing?" Green asked him and he felt his heart jump a little. Affectionate comments from Green were nothing to scoff at, this was a good morning.
Nonetheless he would retort with an affectionate comment of his own, "I don't know, how are you doing?" He smiled, nuzzling into the brunet's cheek.
"I was asking how you were doing genius," he scoffed, pushing Red off of him to roll over. He was about to stand up before Red's arms had locked him into place.
"Red I have to get ready to go to work, there's gonna be a lot of challengers today," he said, struggling in the fighter's grip.
Red held on, his morning was going swell and he loved waking up to Green like this, usually the man was already out of bed by the time he finally got up.
"Let me lay with you a little longer," he said, determined.
"No."
"Bu-"
"No buts!" Green shot back, finally prying himself away to stand up, causing Red to ungracefully fall off the side of the bed.
"Put some clothes on and I'll make breakfast," Green sighed, walking over to their closet, grabbing some clothes before changing and heading to the kitchen. Red had sat up and looked down at himself, remembering that he had just worn shorts to bed.

Red stood up with a groan, stretching, before he made his way to the closet. He found one of Green's purple sweaters, he still wore them now and again, and he had even bought them in his current size.
Red shrugged and slipped it on, it was a little too long, but just barely, so Red decided to roll with it before stepping out into the kitchen too.
He was greeted by Saur in the living room, as well as Charizard and Pika.
"Morning guys," he called and they chirped and growled responses accordingly.
Red walked over to Green who was cooking a fast breakfast. Red wrapped his arms around his shoulders, humming into the back of his neck, he was still sleepy.
"Is that my shirt?" Green asked with a sigh, and Red nodded against his back.
"It smells nice," Red commented, years ago it would've taken a crushing amount of courage to even think of saying that, but now it came so naturally.
Green still had a hard time with it though, but Red didn't mind.
"You're weird," Was all he replied with and Red chuckled, "how did I fall in love with an idiot like you?" Green chuckled with him.
"So you admit to it," Red smirked, looking down as Green plated their simple breakfast.
"I own up to my crimes," he joked and Red scoffed playfully.
"Let go so we can eat," he said, setting their food on the table. Red grunted a short "fine" before sitting across from him.
Red began to eat, both of them silent for a moment. He looked up, catching a fond smile on Greens face as he ate, his eyes weren't trained on anything in particular as he looked down at the table.

Red's heart soared, for them to have something like this together was truly a miracle.
Suddenly Green's eyes shot up and caught his own as the brunet took a bite. He set his fork down.
"What?" He asked a little confused. Red thought for a moment.
"I'm wondering how it took me as long as it did to know that you were the one," he hummed absentmindedly, "I was pretty dense wasn't I?"
Green's face went a little pink, and he was a little awestruck for a moment, "Dense is putting it lightly," he finally responded, standing up.
"I'm off to work," he leaned over and placed a kiss on Red's brow, "you should probably train a little today, the newer kids are gonna pass you up."
"I will," Red chuckled softly, his happy gaze following Green as he left. What a lucky guy he was.

Mother of Learning
Zorian is a teenage mage of humble birth and slightly above-average skill, attending his third year of education at Cyoria's magical academy. He is a driven and irritable young man, consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, whom he resents for favoring his brothers over him. Consequently, he has no time for pointless distractions or paying attention to other people's problems. As it happens, time is something he is about to get plenty of. On the eve of the Cyoria's annual summer festival, he is killed and brought back to the beginning of the month, just before he was about to take a train to Cyoria. Suddenly trapped in a time loop with no clear end or exit, Zorian will have to look both within and without to unravel the mystery before him. And he does have to unravel it, for the time loop hadn't been made for his sake and dangers lurk everywhere... Repetition is the mother of learning, but Zorian will have to first make sure he survives to try again - in a world of magic, even a time traveler isn't safe from those who wish him ill. ********************************** If anyone is interested, I have a story-related worldbuilding site that can be found here. I don't update it as often as I should, but there is a fair amount of content there already. It also contains a page with all the fanart, fan translations, audio books and the like - you can reach it directly by clicking this link. I have a patreon account for those kind people that want to give me money. It also contains info for those who want to donate via paypal. The story was originally posted on fictionpress, back in 2011. When I reached chapter 91, I started uploading the story to RoyalRoad, one chapter per day. The story will continue to be updated on fictionpress as well as here, and can be reached by clicking on this link if somebody is interested, though at this point there is nothing there that isn't also on RoyalRoad. ********************************** The cover you see on the side has been made by a fellow RoyalRoad user Sydorow. 8 118Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat, 10am Central/ 3pm GMT. ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
8 635The Final Monster
The Dahlia Kingdom has had a habit of summoning champions and heroes to fight in wars that could not be won with natives alone; this caused an era of prosperity for the human kingdom. However, for the first time in a long time, the Dahlia Kingdom has finally summoned another champion to fight against the Draconians and Majin, but what if this particular champion was no hero? [Contains: Girls Love] [Part of the DeceptiveVerse]
8 189Midori
The sea of stars. The momentaneous lifeforms that flicker far away. Our futures — a sea brimming with light. Each and every shimmer in the starry canvas serves as one’s infinite opportunities in the vast sea of the future. The world, however, is far from the ideals of such a mantra. Complacency is the enemy of progress, yet to the four known nations, each one sees enemies around their borders. An example: A village isolated from the nation of Alkai prevents the lives of many from progressing. It’ll take a society, a group, even a whipped together rag-tag team to jump start the quest for progress. An escape from a motionless home—in order to search for a greater future, Mira approaches her blade in a new light. Any illustrations I use for covers and chapters are illustrations I have drawn myself unless otherwise stated.
