"Holy shit, Red. For the last time no." Green sighed as the bright Dexholder looked upon him expectantly. He had just about enough of this, he had work to do, and Red certainly wasn't helping.
"Greeeeeeen. Nobody's looking." He reassured him, but Green wasn't having it.
"No, I already said no. What if a challenger walks in?" He said pushing Red away from him.
Red had astonishingly asked Green if he could kiss him. And as flattered at the idea that Red at least asked for permission first, he wasn't sure how he felt about the idea as a whole.
He wasn't good at this relationship stuff. He had just gotten used to the hugging and the close proximity, now Red as asking to take it a step further. A step Green wasn't sure he wanted to take.
"Fine, but when it is okay, will you?" He inquired, looking at the Trainer's crimson face.
"Yeah yeah, whatever." Green waved him off and made his way back into the challenge area of his gym. Red smiled a huge grin as t him as he left.
"Thanks babe!"
"Please stop." He said, but Red knew it held no bite to it. It was just empty retorts for someone who was getting used to this all.
But now Green couldn't stop thinking about it.
Green felt his eyes wander down to the other's mouth when he talked, drawn to his ever present smile. The way his lips moved captivated Green in way he never thought that they could.
As dense as Red was, he didn't catch all of Green's stares, which was good, but he didn't know how long Red would remain ignorant. Sometimes Green would lose track of conversations, lost in the man's face rather than his words, which was a perspective that Green had never had to deal with before.

Green came home one day to rest, Red or course coming with him.
"It's been a while since we've been to your house." Red sighed happily, flipping onto Green's bed, "And who knows how long since I've slept in a bed other than ones in the Pokemon Center hotel rooms."
Red had a point, Green laughed quietly, his laughter a mere short exhale through the nose, which was how he always laughed.
"I love your laugh." Red chuckled bluntly, whenever he noticed things about the other, Green found that he always tended to say them out loud, no matter how embarrassing it was for him.
Green sat down next to him, one leg folded on the bed and one hanging off as he looked at the Fighter. In situations like these where he knew for a fact that they were alone, Green felt a little better about displaying affection.
He reached out, combing his fingers through the others hair, Red hummed in content closing his eyes. It was probably the only time that Red was ever quiet, so Green quite enjoyed this.
Red opened his eyes again, though they looked as if that was a struggle, as if he was falling asleep. He stared at Green while Green rubbed his head, Green now becoming a little self conscious.
"Your eyes are really pretty, I look at them a lot and they stun me every time. Like they reflect Viridian." He yawned, sitting up.
Green felt that tug again, his eyes drifting down to Red's mouth as it stretched into a yawn.
"Mhm." Was all he responded with. He felt himself being drawn forward, he knew what this was and he wanted to fight it, but he couldn't.
Red looked over at him, his features becoming softer as he looked at Green with a knowing look that Green hated. He knew that Green was giving in, and he was loving every second of it. Red began to lean in as well though, his eyes closing.

Green felt his own flutter closed as Red's breath wafted over him. He could practically feel Red's lips graze his own, when the door to his room flew open.
He was going to back away immediately. He was going to refute this and try to clarify to the person who was seeing this. But Red's hands reached up, cupping his cheek and the back of his head, effectively pulling him the rest of the distance while he was still dazed.
He felt a tingling sensation on his mouth and his eyes flew forward to see Red, fully encapsulated in their kiss. It was still, and Green couldn't bring himself to respond or pull away, when Red moved his lips against his own, sparking an entirely new feeling.
Suddenly he lost all care for whoever had entered the room. He wrapped his arms around Red and found himself lost in the feeling.
They parted and Red looked over Green slyly, "I told you it'd be good." He said, looking a little dazed himself despite his bold words.
"Yeah whatever." He said looking away, only to find his eyes land on someone in the doorway as he remembered that someone had intruded.
"Oh uh... hey gramps."

Meek
After failing as an apprentice cooper and a town guard, Eli finds his place at the Rockbridge archives. Sure, he's the oldest 'junior scribe,' but he likes the job. And he's good at it, too. Then he completes an apparently-insignificant project, and the brutal reaction shocks him--with consequences that eventually shake the world. Eli gains powers. Rare and inhuman abilities. He progresses slowly, steadily, and not without setbacks. He changes, too. Is he a hero, a villain, a human, a monster? Depends who you ask. Meek is an epic fantasy with elements of progression. The basic magic is simple: five Paths, each with a different powerset. However, complexity arises from combinations, and the protagonist wields a magic all his own. Meek is set in the Valley, the only (as far as anyone knows) human empire that survived a Final Battle against a terrible foe. The Valley is warded against infiltration, but the enemy learned how to warp human souls, to foment discord within. However, another soul is also ... changed. Perhaps even 'warped.' And that soul is starting on a long (long, long) path that might, one day, prove that the Final Battle wasn't so final after all.

Late Night at Lund's
Book 1 - Late Night at Lund's is available for sale on Amazon. Book 2: The Lockwood Quest continues the story! A dental hygienist walks into a bar..... Dental hygienist Isa Chamberlin thought the biggest challenge in her life was getting over a messy breakup, but when she pops into a new neighborhood bar, she finds herself in a different world, one filled with wizards, spells, and monsters. Join Isa as she explores unfamiliar surroundings, uncovers new skills, and learns to level. Magic and monsters, allies and enemies, romance and danger, all of it just on the other side of a simple door. "Wear these bracers with pride.” the half-orc slid first one bracer and then the other over Isa’s forearms. “Fight with your heart,” he said as he pulled the laces tight. “And come back with a story to tell. That is what an adventurer does.” ....... **** Thank you for reading, and if you like the story, please rate and review. Isa and I would both like to level up! This story uses the 5th Edition Open Gaming License for game mechanics. I roll dice for combat outcomes and all skill checks.... which is sometimes surprising! One side note - I don't have a "sexual content" tag on - this is more romance than romp. But that might change!
