《Poké Oneshots [Requests Temporarily Closed]》Kalosshipping

So I was writing this, and I realized that there's a scene that looks a little like Calem x Clemont, but I promise it was just for filler so that I could make the fic last longer lol
Although that's not a bad ship idea (do they even have a ship name)
Anywho I was reading all the quotes by Clemont in the game and honestly he seems like he'd be the best bro.
Surprisingly enough Kalosshipping i one of the hardest ships for me to write. There's not a lot to go off of for their characters, but i still love the ship don't get me wrong. I apologize in advance if this fic is less than satisfactory lol

Calem knocked on his neighbor's front door, and waited for a response. The familiar face of his best friend's mom greeted him, "Hi Calem! What's shaking?" She said.
"Nothing ma'am I was going to see if Serena was home." He said, even though her mom tried to keep up with common slang, Calem still felt an urge to be formal with her, and if he was honest her attempts only made it more awkward on his part.
"Yeah she's upstairs. Head on up, I don't think shes doing anything." She said, retreating into the house to let the boy in.
"Thank you, there's a party tomorrow night, I was wondering if she wanted to come." He told her, it was better to let her mom know now anyway.
"You kids aren't going to do anything stupid are you?" She called warily from the living room. There would be hell to pay if they ended up doing something crazy.
"No ma'am, don't worry, gym leaders are hosting a formal occasion."
"Alright then, have fun!" She said, her demeanor returning to normal.
He sighed and made his way upstairs. In truth he was less nervous about Serena's mom, and more nervous about Serena herself.
He wanted this to be a date. It was romantic, and he loved the idea of it. And he loved Serena, but she had a history of turning down dates. She hadn't been on one.

Neither had he, of he was being fair, but that was because he liked her. He just hoped that her past rejections were a sign that she liked him too.
"You know I'm not into parties." Serena said with a nervous smile.
Calem's heart sank, he hadn't even mentioned it being a date yet, and already he had been shot down. He tried to think of ways he could get her to come, but it wasn't likely. He sat on her bed while she was writing down training notes on her desk.
"Its formal, so all the gym leaders will be there. Even Trevor is going so you know its good!" He tried to reason by using Trevor, who was in fact going, which immediately added a layer of credibility to the event.
Her face shifted for a moment, before twisting with doubt once again, "I cant dance, and I don't have clothes. I don't know..." she said.
He didn't want to force her. That wouldn't end up good for either of them. He definitely didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable with him.
"Okay, I get it. I dont want to force you." He said softly and she sighed in relief.
"Thanks Calem." She said back and his heart raced. There shared a moment of silence before Calem stood, stretched and made his way to her door.
"Well, I'll be headed home. See ya later." He said.
"Bye." She caught his eye on the way out and smiled. Calem swore that she'd be the death of him. Oh well, he could always hang out with her later anyway.
...
"Hey Calem! Nice to see you! You look good!" Shauna walked up to him as he entered the party. She wore a simple pink dress, while he wore a blue tux.
"Thanks." He said shyly. He had picked it out with his date with Serena in mind. It kind of bummed him out wearing it without her.
"Where's Serena? I though she'd be with you." She said jabbing his side with her elbow, "Cause y'know..." She hinted.
"No, she uh... she didn't want to come." He said looking down at the floor. There was an extended silence between them; the only reason he knew she was still there was because her arm was still touching him where she had been elbowing him moments before.

"What?!" She said. Well more like yelled. In his ear.
"She turned down a date! With you?! I am going to have a word with her!" Shauna stormed off before Calem could say anything. He silently prayed for Serena, as there was no stopping Shauna when she got like this, she was going to Serena's house right now whether he liked it or not.
She would probably just turn Shauna down too.
The were at a high class ballroom somewhere in Lumoise City, he was finally getting a good look at it. He reserved himself to the punch bowl as the floor was already filled with people dancing. Not couples necessarily, but some of them were.
"Fancy meeting you here." Calem heard a familiar voice. On the other side of the table Calem found the blond head and glasses covered face of Clemont the Lumoise Gym Leader.
"Hey Clemont." Calem gave him a fist bump as he walked over, joining Calem next to the punch bowl, "What's up?"
"Just hanging out. You?" He asked, "You waiting for someone?" He took a sip of the punch, as if to make sure it wasn't spiked, though Grant was in charge of drinks and he was fairly responsible as a person.
Despite his appearance and his demeanor at first, Clemont was actually a pretty fun guy. He often applied the scientific reasoning of, 'you'll never know if you don't try', to life, and that sort of spiced things up for him.
"I wish." He took a sip as well.
"Serena, isnt it?"
Calem practically spit out his drink and looked at the man who pushed up his glasses as if stating a fact. Clemont nodded in confirmation.
"Looks like I'm right. Just a scientific deduction. Also its it's one of the first things that anybody with eyes notices about you when Serena is in the room." He said, giving a harsh blow to Calem's pride.
Calem sat there brooding as the music changed, a more upbeat tune and the dancing changed in rhythm.
"Get your mind off of brooding. Come on, dance with me bro!" He said dragging Calem to the dance floor.
"I'm not sure. I don't really know how to dance." He said. It wasn't technically a lie, but he would usually be up for a dance, even though he didn't know how to. He just wasn't feeling it.
"You'll never know if you don't try!" Clemont said charismatically. Calem knew he was trying to help, and he was tempted to give in. When someone tapped him on the shoulder.
Calem turned around to find Serena standing there. She waved at him shyly, then her face turned stern.
"You could've told me it was a date." She said, and Calem could've sworn that he heard Clemont whispering 'Dramatic reveal accomplished' but he was too caught up in the girl in front of him.
"Sorry about that." He scratched his head nervously.
"I see you've been a sad bum the entire time too."
"Yeah..."
"But I'm here now, so smile!" She said laughing.
Calem's heart was racing as she led him to a more secluded part of the dance floor. That way she wouldn't have to be around so many people and their watchful gazes.
They began to dance slowly, he wasn't shes when the song had changed, but it had. He looked into her gaze and she smiled again back at him, he smiled back at her. He felt a void fill in his chest.
"You like my dress?" She asked hopefully, "I like your tux."
He had been so caught up by the fact that she was here that he hadn't paid any mind to her outfit, which was the most gorgeous red dress he had ever seen.
His cheeks tinted pink, he had never seen her in anything like that before. Shauna had been the only girl in the group that was really interested in things like that.
"Be more confident." She said in a low tone, he looked at her once again stern face and nodded.
With a large smile he proudly said, "You're beautiful!"

Corpse Crawler
Ludwig Lock wakes up in a hospital bed to find a weeping woman at his side. After some crying, more weaping and confusion, Ludwig discovers that that lady was his ten year old sister, and that he's been in a coma for fifteen years. He also learns that the world he had grown to know was no more since heroes, villains, and super powers inhabit the streets, being regarded as a lot of things withing an endless spectrum. Just when he was about to finally get started with his new life, Ludwig faced a streak of bad luck, the last event of this chain setting him up to die so a vigilante can save himself. After suffering the worst beating of his life and experimenting the incompetence of the law, Ludwig decides to use his own hands to achieve justice. He will face difficult challenges, traumatic situations, and probably horrible stuff to get his life rolling. But at least he's got a friend to help him. Not a normal one though. ---- IMPORTANT: I personally identify powers as a fantastical element, which is why I don't find weird the addition of other elements of the same vein if it stays within the logic of the world. New and old chapters get updated with relative frequency, (new chapter every week, though it may be delayed a day or more to problems or some other reason) and the story is in a draft-like state, meaning it will probably stay the same but there will be changes on the prose or writing. Also, I would apreciate if it is known to me (Respectfully) which points should I improve on.
