Honestly, the only think I know about Hunter J is that she hunts and sells Pokemon, along with the fact that shes a sort of serious gal. I'm not even sure where shes from I just did a quick google search to find out what Pokemon she had.
Sorry if this oneshot is a little rough
There is mild language in this chapter but not much.

Guzma scratched his head as he looked on at the intruder. A lone woman stood before him wielding Pokemon the likes of which he had never seen.
"I don't know what you're doing here, but you ain't getting yer hands on any of Team Skull's Pokemon. We stole these fair and square." He said with a confident grin.
A look of disgust washed over her face, her eyes poured over the Pokemon she saw before her, before checking a device that she held.
"Bug Pokemon don't fetch a very high price. And those Salandit's of yours are only worth anything if they're female." She reported to herself.
"Listen here pretty lady. Bug Pokemon are worth more than your Pokemon are that's for sure, and I can prove it by pummeling you!" He said pulling out a Pokeball with a smirk on his face.
If this lady was underestimating Bug Pokemon, she had another thing coming to her. Almost no one could beat his Golisopod.
She scoffed, "Not in a million years. I don't have time to waste on you." She said before making her leave. Guzma watched in amazement as she left. No one had ever had the guts to talk to him like that. Most were scared he'd sic his gang on them.
"I like her attitude." He said while his grunts gathered around him.

"Yo Guzma, what are we gonna do about her?" A grunt asked, his arms matching his dismay.
"I'll go after her myself. No one picks on our crew and gets away with it. Besides." He said laughing, "She seems a little too interesting to just let her get away."
"Yeah! Get her boss!" They cheered.
"Quiet down." He said halfheartedly, in all honesty he loved the praise, but he had more important matters to get to.
"What was her name?" He looked to the grunt who was in charge of their front entrance.
"She said her name was Hunter J. I couldn't find out anything else cause she had already busted in." He said, looking down at the floor.
"Don't sweat it, that's more than enough info." He patted the grunt on the shoulder and the grunt immediately perked up.
"Be right back boys and girls." He said before heading off to track J down.
It didn't take long. Not when someone with a reputation like his was looking for someone with a reputation like hers.
"Hey missy! Did'ya miss me?" He asked, pulling out his Pokeball to release his Golisopod.
She rolled her eyes and pulled out a Pokeball of her own, "If it's going to take beating you to get you to leave me alone, then so be it."
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" He said as she released a Salamence from its Pokeball.
Soon their fight had started and their Pokemon tore away at each other. As the fight drug on Hunter J became more intrigued with Guzma by the minute. Well, his Pokemon at least.
"I have to say, you're putting up more of a fight than I thought you would." She said switching her Salamence for Drapion.

"I could say the same to you. Could really use some fight like that on Team Skull." He offered with a cocky grin.
"Not on your life." She chuckled, ordering her Pokemon to attack. She was starting to have fun for the first time in a while.
"You don't seem like the kind of gal that would conform that easily anyway." He said with a fire in his eyes, "but I'm afraid this is where you lose!"
Guzma's Golisopod pulled through with one last shove, effectively knocking out her last Pokemon. She looked on, an awestruck look gracing her features for a mere second before being replaced with her normal look.
"Gotcha." Guzma said, withdrawing his own Pokemon.
"I'll have to say, I was wrong about you." She said, clapping slowly.
"That's right, and now I'll stay outta your hair, that's what you get for messing with Team Skull." He bid her farewell.
She grabbed his arm, stopping him for a moment, "Oh no we'll be seeing a lot more of each other in the near future."
"And why is that? Fallen for my awesome swag?" He asked.
"Oh no. I'll be taking those Pokemon off your hands soon enough. A bug with that high of a level is bound to be worth a small fortune. I am a hunter after all." She corrected him, winking.
"Oh shit, oops."

Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.

The life of a Soldier
Raised by abnormal parents, he goes to join the army. However somethings seem to be out of place. Memories of people are fuzzy, things seem wrong. Making friends is easy in the army, what if they are not what they seem. Abilities that make you strong, can also make you reckless. this story is one of betrayels, twists, and confusion. The story is dark and some parts are brutal and gory to an extent which people might find off-putting.
