I went back an edited all of my oneshots, correcting what I hope to be all of the grammatical errors, I'm going to try to be more on top of that from now on lol.
But can you believe it?! New gen 1 remakes for the switch! Which sounds fantastic (although I'm still waiting for gen 4 remakes) not only that, but a phone game this year and a new title next year!
This chapter is actually a continuation of one of my other oneshots where Red was the one stating his reasons for loving Green.

Enjoy!

"Your turn." Red signed, if Green was going to make him list five reasons why he loved him. He was going to make Green do the same.
Green stumbled over his words, he clearly from the look of it couldn't draw from any rational thoughts.
"Umm, you already know so why would I have to do it?" He laughed nervously. Red shot him a sarcastic glare that said he wasn't having it.
Green tried to put up more of a protest, but eventually sighed in defeat, "Fine. Five things?" Red nodded.
Green looked at his hands nervously trying to collect his thoughts. His brows furrowed in concentration and Red gazed upon him fondly.
"Hands. I love your hands." He started. Red looked at him questioningly and Green's face turned crimson.
"You know what I mean! They're silent, but they're also the loudest force in my life. They let me talk to the one I love." He said, reaching out to hold Red's hands.
Red could tell that Green was practically bursting from embarrassment with every word he spoke, and Red couldn't say that he didn't like it.
Green held Red's hands in his, fidgeting as he formulated another response. Red knew that Green wouldn't give him one that he didn't believe to be a wholehearted response.

"Two?" Red signed.
"I'm getting there okay?" He said thinking a little more.
As he traced Red's hands he looked up, his eyes roaming over every part of him before locking with Red's.
"You're beautiful." He said, and he meant it, Red was quite the attractive man. He had even accrued his own group of fangirls while he was up on Mt. Silver.
"I know I act offended at how tall you are, but I really don't mind."
"Stealing my answers?" Red lifted a brow at Green who denied the statement.
"No! But I'm guessing that's not gonna slide again." He stated.
Red nodded and laughed a little. Green laughed with him as well and soon came up with his next response.
"I love that you're here, with me, when you used to not be." he said, the mood darkening a little. Red's time on Mt. Silver wasn't the best for their relationship. There was a lot of blame and mixed emotions that had gone on, but that was in the past and he understood what Green had meant.
"I love that you tolerated me back then. Like, I was the worst! Sometimes I still am! Though I must say that I'm still the best catch out there. Consider yourself lucky." He said to the man in front of him with a smirk.
"I do." Red signed and the mood lightened up again. Green, caught off guard by the statement cleared his throat before saying, "That's all right?"
Red shook his head, "Nope one more. Nice try though, almost had me."
Green groaned and laid down again staring at the sky. A small silence passed between them for a moment before Green spoke up.
"You're my best friend." He said without much thought, like it was the simplest thing. And it was true, they had a rough spot at some point, but they fixed it. And here they were together.

"I'm so glad that you're here. So glad that you love me." He started choking up, he covered his mouth with a fist and cleared his throat.
Red tapped his shoulder and he looked over at him.
"Are you crying?" He asked in concern, but Green could tell that he was also kind of amused.
"No! I'm not!" He said sitting up and wiping his face, but the tears fell and he reached out to Red to pull him into a hug.
"Maybe a little..." he croaked and Red smiled.
"You have to make this up to me." Green said, embarrassed beyond end.
"How?" Red asked, though he knew Green couldn't see his hands.
"Take me on vacation." Green replied anyway, suspecting that Red would ask.
"To Alola, hot, sandy beaches. They have a place called the battle tree too." He said still hurried in the taller man's arms.
Red nodded.
