《Poké Oneshots [Requests Temporarily Closed]》Ships Meet Ships
Advertisement
Hey there! It's been a while I know, I've been updating a little slow because of the college finals I had this week. I have high school finals next week too, ugh, but it's almost winter break, so yay XD!
This request was a little challenging, I was asked to write the Kanto Dexholders experience if they had come into contact with their opposite ships. So basically, what would happen if Specialshipping and Oldrivalshipping had met Originalshipping and Jadeshipping.
I decided to use the wonderful new opportunity I've been given from Ultra Sun and Moon where the option to travel dimensions has been made available.
It was kind of fun to think about how they would respond to be honest, it was really fun to write!
It may have gotten a little sloppy towards the end and I'm truly sorry, there's so much going on right now lol

Enjoy.
Red took a deep breath of the calming ocean air, the wind blew through his hair, almost knocking his hat off of his head, "Wow, so this is the Alola region!" he exclaimed in excitement.
"Slow your roll, Red. We just got here." Green commented, Blue following behind him as they got off of the boat. She flipped her hair, tugging her sun hat further down, "It's nice, but there's a lot more sun here than there is in Kanto, it feels like Vermillion City everywhere here." she fanned herself.
"I can't wait to see what kind of Pokemon live here. I'm glad we don't have to go through another huge ordeal for a while. Now we can kick back and relax!" Yellow smiled cheerfully, running to catch up to Red, "This is Poni island, right?"
"Why yes it is, and you must be Professor Oak's trainers." a voice called to then from further up the dock. A taller, tan man approached the Kanto Dexholders, his tinted glasses gleaming in the sunlight, "I'm Professor Kukui, nice to meet you." he extended a hand to Red first, shaking it happily.
It was hard for Red to believe that they had such a young Professor, even younger than them. He was used to seeing cranky Professor Oak, so Kukui was a breath of fresh air.
"It's nice to see some Kantonian faces around here, I've been to Kanto a couple times myself!" Kukui laughed, he was a loud man, but it wasn't a bad sort of loud.
Red laughed with him, "So, what are the Pokemon like around here?" he asked. The Professor tipped his hat back, "Why don't I give you a tour of Poni Island, yea? Show you all the native species on Alola's least humanly populated island?"
"Yes please!" Yellow piped up. Kukui led them off of the docks, Red excitedly grabbing his girlfriend's hand and hauling off, leaving Green and Blue to catch up.
"These two are insufferable sometimes." Green sighed.
"Hey look, you didn't include me in the insult that time, I'm moving up in the world." Blue winked at him, hooking her arm in his.
"Tch. Pesky girl." Green scoffed, rolling his eyes, but if he was honest he really didn't mind.
The young professor led them around the island, showing them the beach and Mantine surfing, the Poni wilds, the Guardians Cave, and finally Vast Poni Canyon.
"And up these stairs is the Peak! The Altar of the Sunne." Kukui gestured up the stairs that laid out before the older Dexholders.
"Whoa, race ya!" Red ran forward up the stairs, the excitement getting to him. A new place with new feelings, he couldn't help the sudden burst of energy that he felt.

"Hey wait!" Yellow ran after him, laughing as she chased him.
Green had to be honest, he was feeling that sort of inkling of excitement as well, but he pushed that down in favor of hanging back with Blue yet again.
When they made it to the top, Red was on the ground wheezing, Yellow huffing but still standing. It looked like they'd had the roughest day of their lives.
"Those *huff* stairs w-were *gasp* a lot longer than I thought they'd be." Red tried to say through his heaving breathes.
Green laughed a little, "You're pathetic." to which Red shot him a friendly glare.
"Here we are!" Kukui laughed at the group, now that they took the time to look around it was a truly breathtaking place. For such an amazing structure to be placed at the top of a canyon was astounding.
As they looked around at the various sights, Green walked towards the center of the altar, a small glow catching his attention.
"Alola, I do not believe that we have met." a deep monotonous voice rang behind him.
A man in weird clothing approached him, all of his clothes were various shades of blue, and now that he looked closer, his skin had a blue-ish tint to it too. The only part of him that wasn't blue was a strand of violet hair peeking out from under his helmet.
A smaller girl accompanied him, a long orange braid escaping from under her own helmet.
"Dulse! Zozzie! Good to see you!" Kukui ran over to greet them, a wide grin on his face.
"Greetings Professor!" Green wasn't sure how a person could have both an enthusiastic but also monotonous voice at the same time, but she did. Her words had a childish edge, but also no intonation.
"Hey Zozzie! We've got a few Kantonian champions here with us today!" he kneeled in front of her, smiling. Her eyes lit up and she turned to the Kanto Dexholders.
"Kantonians?! Can we show them Solgaleo, Dulse?!" the girl named Zozzie asked while tugging at Dulse's arm. Dulse obviously looked less than pleased about that idea.
"What's Solgaleo? I've heard of it." Blue asked the smaller girl who was happy to answer,
"In Aloha it is considered to be what your dimension calls, a Legendary Pokemon. Solgaleo can travel through the Ultra Wormhole to see many dimensions. Oh, Lunala too!" she said, Dulse shaking his head, although there was a spark in his eyes from the prospect of showing newcomers his Legendary Pokemon.
"Can we try?" Red asked, of course he didn't really get it, but it sounded exciting.
His girlfriend thought otherwise.
This was the worst idea.
The large lion that they rode bounded through space, or what looked like space, Yellow couldn't really tell, but it constantly felt like she was going to fall off any second now. She clutched onto Red for dear life, and she could feel Blue clutching onto her, the lion was surprisingly gigantic, all four of them fit on the creature.
Dulse, Kukui, and Zozzie strode ahead on Lunala, Zozzie happily waved back at them.
"One question guys?" Red asked, he had seemed to be having fun earlier, but he took on a serious tone. Blue wondered what could have Red like that.
"How do you steer?" suddenly Solgaleo fell way off course, jarring the Dexholders.
They found themselves flying into a random portal looking thing with a flash of bright light.
Red felt soft grass beneath him and a harsh sun above him. It almost felt like home.

He felt Yellow twitch under him, he had instinctively grabbed her, and now she was half pulled to him. He felt her groan and sit up, then he heard her gasp.
"What is it?" he sat up with her, his eyes adjusting. When his vision cleared, he couldn't believe his eyes. Before him was the road to Bill's that he had always known, it's grassy green fields, hints of his house in the distance. If he turned around he could faintly see the bridge that took you back to Cerulean City.
"Are we, in Kanto?" Blue asked in shock, standing up and clutching an equally confused Green by the arm.
"I think we are, how did we get here?" Green asked, looking around.
Red heard a slight growl, and realized that Solgaleo was still next to him, so all of this had indeed just happened.
"Are we in another dimension?" Yellow asked fearfully, Red put an arm around her comfortingly, "It'll be fine, the Professor and Dulse are probably on their way here right now." he told her, but he knew he was trying to convince himself more than her.
"Hey, what's that Pokemon that you've got there?" Red heard a familiar voice, but there was something strange about it. Over the horizon he saw a figure running towards them, and he realized in utter dismay.
It was him.
"Whoa, guys?" Red motioned at the others to come look, the other Red kept running towards them, and now that they were looking, the others were there as well.
"Slow down idiot." they heard another Green shout, Yellow and Blue lagged behind, laughing at the two boys.
"Whoa." Other Red stopped in front of Red, realization dawning on him, "Who're you?!" he shouted in dismay.
"Hey hey! I can explain!" Red frantically said, was he always this volatile and loud? The others came up behind him equally confused.
Red began to explain.
"So I think we landed in an alternate dimension, we were travelling through space. This Pokemon here helped us. As soon as we figure out how to get back, we'll take our leave." Red told them, and it looked like the other him was having a hard time processing.
"I think I've got it. It's wild to think that we've met ourselves from another dimension though..." the other Green looked puzzled as well.
"Well I think this is pretty cool, I get to see how my life could've gone, isn't that sweet? And I have to say you are looking good other me." other Blue winked at Blue, and Blue laughed, "That's exactly what I was thinking!"
"So, I guess we could chat while we wait for Dulse." Yellow said, still clutching to Red, she didn't want to lose her Red, all of them looked the same.
"Yeah that sounds fun! I almost want to go trick Bill by having us switch places. It sounds like a blast!" other Red said, smiling like an idiot.
"Can you think with your head for once? Idiot." other Green flicked his forhead, earning a yelp from the fighter. "Hey, you know you love me." he sneered and other Green just looked away with a red face.
"Wait a minute, what?" Red and Green shouted in unison. That didn't happen, what was going on?
"What's wrong?" other Yellow asked in a worried tone.
"Stuff in this dimension isn't the same as in ours, get used to it boys." Blue giggled with her other self. She had to admit that the look on their faces made the whole Solgaleo blunder worth it.
The two groups of Kanto dexholders had divided clearly for the moment. It was hard to keep track of who was who. Red decided to take his hat off, Blue left her sun hat on, Green put on the sunglasses in his pocket, and Yellow just made sure to stick next to Red.
Red wanted to discern the differences between this dimension and his own.
"So everything's the same, except the relationships?" Green asked, they had compared everything that had happened up until now, and nothing seemed different, save for the fact that everyone in this dimension was in a relationship with someone completely different than in their own.
"I mean, I guess? Are you and Red not dating in your dimension?" other Blue asked them, it was a weird concept, seeing themselves with other people.
"So I'm with Yellow, but other me is with Green. Which means that other Yellow and Blue are together?" Red asked, he was starting to get it, it was pretty cool that they could all be in different relationships but still act normal.
"How do you tolerate that idiot?" Green asked his other self with a smirk, "Honestly, I really don't know." the other sighed.
"Yellow is a cutie, nice score." Blue fist bumped her other self, those two got along really well. But Red guessed that they were the same person after all, and Blue was a surprisingly tolerant person.
"Red is like and older brother to me!" other Yellow smiled at the original, to which Yellow smiled back. "Same with Blue for me, she's almost like an older sister."
Red smiled at Yellow as the two got along, just before he got a shove in the side, it was Blue, "You know, if we get some pictures of the others, it'll be rich blackmail. I heard from the other me that in this world, Gold and Silver are a thing." she snickered evilly, and as much as Red would laugh when he saw Crystal's face, he declined Blue's offer, in favor of an idea that he had.
"Hey me! I mean you? Whatever. Want to battle?" Red asked his other self, it was a great idea.
...
It was the worst idea.
No one other than the two Reds' could tell who was who, it was amusing to watch, but the rest of the Dexholders opted to make small talk instead.
"So this Pokemon is from the Aloha region?" other Yellow asked while she pet the big lion, "We've been meaning to go there for a while."
"Yeah, supposedly it can cross through dimensions, but Red was driving and we had a little whoopsie daisy, and that's how that happened." Blue shrugged, the rest of them sighed too, Red was a little too enthusiastic about this kind of stuff, and all of them knew that too well.
"He's been begging me to go for a while actually." the other Green said, taking his turn to look at the amazing beast, "I was hesitant at first, but it looks like fighting trainers there might actually be a bit of a challenge. Who knows, maybe we'll run into another disaster like always." he chuckled.
"Aww look, this you has a sense of humor!" Blue whined at Green who just shrugged her off.
Without warning, a burst of light flew forth from above them, both Red's stopped fighting in their tracks. Lunala flew forward for a newly opened wormhole, Dulse, Zozzie, and the Professor on its back.
"Heyo, there! Howzit? We finally found you guys!" the professor shouted as they landed the mighty bat.
The originals sighed in relief, and the ones from the other dimension stared in awe.
Dulse approached them, "I am very sorry to have intruded on your dimension. I hope we did not cause any disruptions."
"None at all. It was actually a nice surprise." the residents of this dimension replied.
The Dexholders mounted the lion, waving to the others, before setting off on a straight course back to their own dimension. Red was glad to be back where he belonged, the others were nice, but it was always nice to be somewhere familiar in the normal senses.
They trekked down from the mountain, Dulse and Zozzie had stayed at the peak. The professor joined them as he took them to the docks.
"So how was it? The other dimension of course." he asked enthusiastically like always.
"It was a little weird, but I got some photos, and blackmail while you guys were talking." Blue responded, waving some pictures in front of herself, "Plus now I know if this doesn't work out, I can go after Yellow." she laughed, jabbing Green in the side with her elbow.
"That won't be happening." he said quietly with a blush, and Blue got quiet as well.
Red and Yellow just laughed at the two, and soon all of them were laughing, reminiscing about their own journeys, and how far they've come.
