《The Alpha's Beta (BOOK 1)》Chapter 1

I'm running, through a beautiful open field, grass taller than I am, well taller than my wolf. I find a massive patch of beautiful daisy's and lay down. I can hear the pure symphony of the wild, crickets chirruping, leaves rattling, birds calling out that there's a bright chestnut wolf now rolling in the grass. It seems just magical and only in a dream state of mind
Then ...
I'm woken up from my happy place, with the biggest shock of my life. My once toasty body that was wrapped up in my blanket had been reduced to an icy water chill. The culprit, my brother Tim, is standing by the door with the biggest smirk on his face, waving at me.
"Morning sis, hope I didn't disturb you too much!"
And with that the little bastard runs off. Immediately I am out of bed prepared to rip that idiots smirk off his face, and maybe his hand for just throwing the water on me. I should really rip his head off for coming up with that idea too – screw it! Ill just kill him instead!
I run out of the room only to bump into the massive tanks arms that is Ryan, my father's beta and also my Uncle. Why are werewolf males so big?! Could he not see me running out my room, screaming that I was going to murder Tim? I mean I'm only 5'1 and of tiny build but still.
"Whoa, easy there Kara, no need to be so dramatic"
"Dramatic? Dramatic, did you see what that idiot did to me! Now let me go!"
With a blinding smile, he holds tighter onto my shoulders, making me struggle more.
"Only when you calm down, will I let you go"
With my teeth grinding together, fangs exposed and my eyes, which are most likely pitch black, I take a deep breathe, trying to calm my wolf down. Unless I LOOK like I've calmed down, there's no way Ryan is going to let me go. I inhale another deep breathe.

I look up at the Beta smiling and flutter my eye lashes', taking slow and steady breathes. In the sweetest voice I can muster up I reply to the beta
"I'm ok now, thank you"
"Well, I'm glad to, wait what?"
As soon as he loosens on my shoulders, I drop to the floor and roll between his legs and get up running. Idiot, how did he ever become a beta, if he's fooled by a 18 year old girl, fluttering her eye lashes and speaking politely? He's trained me so well.
Never mind, Tim has nearly a 5 minute start on me. Time to chase the moron down!

The Choice is Not Yours
Author's Note: (As of November 20, 2021) I rewrote all the chapters perhaps more than a year ago, but haven't announced that I did so. Because that kind of announcement would include something along the lines of, "I'm working on the story so expect new chapters!" But the truth is, I lack motivation to do anything. And I would hate myself if I broke a promise. I'm extremely sorry if you have been patiently waiting for uploads. These days, I've been studying, not well, but studying somewhat. I will definitely bring more to show, with regular uploads. If not this story then there's another story I've been writing that's really exciting to me. It's not exactly similar to this story since it has a male lead and he is a baneful asshole with even less morals. I hope you'll like it when it comes to existence. And I'll leave my announcement off with the aforementioned promise. Meet Amber, a tomboyish, unstable, and cheeky lass who likes to keep to herself. According to her, she'll live the rest of her life on auto-pilot mode, awhile holding onto the few things that make her remotely happy. However, she forgot that people never really leave you alone, be it humans or even the Gods. And exactly that happens, ending her monotonous life on such the Gods' whim. But at what cost to her? Will she be able to hold onto the things she holds dear? Or will she fail miserably and lose herself in the process? That's what the Gods want to know. Disclaimer: I do not own the cover photo.Warning: If you are easily triggered, I am not writing this novel for you.

As one of the biggest industrial cities on planet Azuno, Blackfortress has been playing a key role in the planet’s infrastructure, being the primary exporter of minerals and industrial machinery. Numerous cargo planes and vessels leave the city every day, but when a group of Aftonian satellites mysteriously shut down, the city suddenly goes silent, and the shipments stop coming. When a distress call sent by Riley McConnel a few days later eventually arrives, the Sapphirian Navy and the Aftonian Military Corps put together a joint task force of marines and soldiers, tasked with the objective of reconnoitering Blackfortress and hopefully restoring communications. However, as the soldiers of Operation Black Knight arrive in the city, they quickly discover that the place had turned into a warzone. Separated from the rest of his unit, Lieutenant Patterson and his soldiers venture deep into the city in hopes of finding answers, but when people and objects from the planet’s troubled history reappear, their mission soon turns into a desperate fight for survival, and a race against time. The Atmos Chronicles
Dayton Harris was 3 years old when Earth came into contact with Alien Life. Folded into the Empire as an after-thought, nobody in the Central Sectors of the Empire spared a thought for the unknown world in the Outer Sectors. 'Small' didn't even begin to describe the situation of humanity. But Dayton isn't going to let that stop him. When he was 3 he dreamed of flying planes, growing up in a world with space ports made his ambitions grow. Now, his only goal is to get into a Military Academy so that he can learn the ins and outs of flying space ships.
