"Mhm Spence?" She asked once she spotted him beside her with a blanket covering both of them.

"What is it?" He asked groaning not even opening his eyes or taking his head off the pillow.

"Where are we? And why we're here?" She asked still sleepily.

"I don't know, go back to sleep" he groaned again.

She was clearly too tired to care so she just fell back to her pillow and fell back to sleep.

"JJ?" He asked the moment he realised that they were sleeping on the same bed, cuddling.

"You were drunk, you came to my house, I really don't know how, you couldn't even move so I took you to a bed but you didn't let me so i didn't see why not cuddle for a night" she replied smiling.

"Yeah it was nice" he started while getting up and started stretching "We fit right together"

She blushed "Yeah, we do"

The sound of the alarm filled the room. He rolled over to find her cuddled to him. He smiled and put some hair away from her face and stroked her cheek.

She blinked a few times before fully look at him. "Hi" she greeted quietly, still half asleep.

"Morning beautiful" he greeted and leaned down to kiss her. "How did you sleep?"

"Too good. Who wouldn't, here in your arms?" She replied smiling.

A loud cry filled the room that caused them both to wake up.

They ran to the room next to theirs to find their 2 1/2 years old daughter crying while holding a stuffed duck as close as possible to her little body.

When they reached the room JJ rushed to the little girl, hugged her and stroked her back whilst she cried.

"ssh baby, it's okay. Mommy and daddy are here"

"What's wrong honey?" He asked the little girl.

"I had a bad dream. You and mommy were chasing a bad guy and he....he shot you both and you died and I was left alone" she cried out and hugged them both, never wanting to let go.

"It's okay baby, we're both alright and alive" she started.

"Mommy and daddy are very good agents and no bad guys can beat us. I promise you that we are careful and the only thing we want is to come back home and hug you right. I promise sweetheart, nothing bad will happen" he continued for her that caused their daughter to stop crying and look up at him.

"You promise?"

"Yes, sweetie. Have I ever lied to you?"

She shakes her hand for 'No'

"Are you okay now baby?" JJ asked her daughter and rubbed her back and the little girl nodded.

"Do you want to sleep with us sweetie?" He asked the little girl knowing that she would feel better if she slept with them and she nodded.

"Come here, daddy will carry you" he offered and lifted her up.

The 3 of them walked to the bedroom and laid down. Both JJ and Reid put an arm around her and JJ whispered "We're going to sleep now. If you get scared wake me or daddy up"

The little girl nodded and didn't wake up again during the night. She was with her parents and she felt like she was in the safest place in the world.
