《What's Really Hood》THIRTY

"Tyra kinda pissed at you Kae."
"Man, she'll be aight," Kae said sitting down back in her seat
"China you good though? It's been a while since I last seen you fought."
"Yeah I'm fine Dom. You saw the video, I ain't get my ass beat." China said nonchalantly
"What about you Trinity, are you okay?"
"Yeah, she's fine," Chris said speaking up
"Oop," Jasmine said side eyeing Chris
Everyone in the room did actually, including me.
Jasmine left China's house early because her cold was getting more "severe" as she said. The lie was believable because she's actually sick but it was a good enough lie for her to get out of and leave without questions being asked. Kae left a little after Jasmine because her mother needed her home or something, so that's good I guess. It would've been awkward that Jasmine and I reside in the same home but we're not leaving together and I'm leaving with Chris instead. That or I'm just over thinking everything. I'm honestly nervous and very anxious what Chris has in store for me.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention." China said as she started cleaning up "Khalil is having a New Years eve get together we should all go."
"I think I heard about it. He managed to get a studio apartment in Times Square that overlooks where the ball gonna be dropping." Michael said helping her "Shit sounds lit." He added
"Sounds like y'all are going," I said gathering my things
"You know Khalil?" Chris asked beside me helping out also
"I met him at the party Dominic had." I simply said shrugging helping Chris put trash in the big garbage bag he was holding
"Are you coming?" China asked peering up at me
"You should come. Khalil is known for his g2gs." Chris added
"G2g ?" I repeated confused
"Get together."
"Ah." I said nodding "Yeah, maybe I will go."
'''
Chris and I managed to leave China's house without her or Michael suspecting anything and asking any questions. I'm thankful they didn't ask any questions though because things would've become more awkward and tension that was already in the room would've risen. Especially because he answered for me when Dominic asked about my well being. I wanted to ask him what was that all about, but I decided to just leave it alone.

The way Chris answered, he sounded so authoritative it turned me on. Thinking about how his jaw clenched did something to me. I looked up at him as we walked up the block towards my house. It was dark outside but his beautiful facial features still stood out under the dim street lighting like his beautiful freckles, his scruffy facial hair, and his pink plump lips.
He caught me staring but for some reason I didn't look away and neither did he. He smirked and grabbed my hands as we continued walking towards my house. My small hands were engulfed in his soft huge ones and it made me feel safe and secure. He looked away looking straight and I did the same, concentrating on my breath that I can see since the air is so cold and crisp.
I've only been here for about three months and got to know Chris less than that, but I can honestly say I have feelings for him. Like, I like him a lot.
Chris and I honestly came so far, from him not acknowledging me what so ever, to us being somewhat acquainted, to kissing when he was supposed to tutor me, to us falling off, us kissing once again at China's Christmas dinner, and here we are now. I don't even know what we're doing right now.
When we got closer I handed him the keys to my car that was parked right in front of my house. He unlocked the doors with the button on the car key as the car chirped and the lights flashed. We both got in and the heat started blazing as he put the keys in the ignition, bringing the car to life. I sat back putting on my seatbelt as I watched him do the same. He pulled off and headed for the Van Wyk.
"You never told me where we're going," I said looking at the traffic on the highway
I looked at the clock on the dashboard and read 5:12pm in neon bold green letters. Makes sense.
"It's a surprise." He said simply glancing over at me and shrugging

I scrutinized him "Whats the surprise?"
"It's a surprise isn't it?" He said chuckling
I rolled my eyes looking back out the window smirking "Yeah whatever."

"Why are we in the forest Christopher? What are you trying to do?" I asked distancing myself from him as we started walking on a trail
"You ask a lot of questions you know?"
"Only because I don't know what's going on," I mumbled crossing my arms over my chest
I took in my surroundings and there were barely any light posts on this trail. Why would anyone walk here at night? I could barely see!
He chuckled "C'mere baby girl."
He attempted to grab me but I moved before he could and started laughing because his face automatically went straight making me laugh harder. I'm not gonna lie, I love it when he calls me baby girl.
He attempted to grab me again by my elbow and I let him pull me into him. I giggled as I felt his strong arms snake around my waist. He pulled me in closer, if that's possible, and kissed me on my temple.
"We're almost there." He said
I nodded and kept walking until we were on this bridge. He stopped walking and went to lean over the bridge.
"I like to come here when I can to clear my mind. Hearing the stream running calms me down a lot."
I followed him over to the edge and gasped. The bridge overlooked this beautiful stream where the full moon was shining brightly on it.
"Christopher this is gorgeous, oh my god," I said in shock and awe
I took my phone out almost immediately and started snapping pictures and posting it on every social media I have. The view is so breathtaking and surreal. Never would've thought Queens would have something like this, if we're even still in queens...
"Yeah, gorgeous like yourself." He said taking his eyes off of the stream looking at me
I blushed looking away from him, kicking some pebbles off of the bridge into the stream. I still felt him looking at me but I continued avoiding eye contact. He nudged me a little with a cute grin tugging at his lips.
"What?" I said trying not to smile
"You not gon' say nothing?"
I shrugged looking down causing my hair to cascade down my face. I went to tuck my hair behind my ear but Chris did it for me, leaving his hand there.
"Look at me." He said sternly licking his lips
I looked up at him and our eyes met. The moonlight shining on his face is doing him justice right now. The way his skin looked so flawless and smooth, his lips so succulent, plump and pink. Oh lord.
His face softened "I mean it Trinity."
He then started stroking my cheek with his thumb and I felt my cheeks starting to heat up. I put my hands on his, staring at him. He grabbed my waist with his other hand and hoisted me up on the bridge ledge. He stood in between leaned in and I immediately shut my eyes tight.
I then felt his breath on my ear and I started to shiver "You look so good right now." He whispered
I kept my eyes closed but rested my hands on his shoulders. I felt his breath move down to my collar as he pecked it. I tilted my head to the side to give him more access but he went back up to my cheek and kissed it. I felt his body ease up off of me causing me to open my eyes. He looked at me with a mischievous look.
He held his hand out "We out?"
"Yeah," I said grabbing his hand easing off the ledge of the bridge as we walked back to the car
