《What's Really Hood》ELEVEN

I looked back at the crowd and noticed a girl with a tray of shots coming my way. I quickly stood up and took three shots of whatever it was off of the tray. I sat back in my seat and downed the two shots ignoring the burning sensation going down my throat.
Dominic slowly turned his head towards me and I gave him his shot "You wanna dance?" I asked wiping the rim of my mouth
"Let's go ma." Dominic smirked getting up from off the couch.
He downed the shot and set the empty shot glass on the side table that was closer to him. He stretched out his big hands and I looked at it for a few seconds. I stacked my two shot glasses together setting them on the side table that was closer to me and grabbed his hand.
We all started walking down the block, heading towards the direction where we all lived in. I have no idea where Dominic was going and why he decided to tag along, we literally just left his house. He assured that he had cousins back at the party and his older brother was there also, but I still think it isn't a good idea for him to leave.
Everyone was paired up walking side by side on the tiny sidewalk. The air was crisp and cool and every time I exhale I could see my breath which fascinated me to the point where I didn't realize Dominic was watching me the whole entire time.
"...What are you doing." He asked a little after
I looked over at him, starting to stare back. He was on his phone ever since we walked out of his house party.
"Nothing." I answered
I looked away, looking ahead and saw that Michael had his arms securely around Chyna's waist and she's laying her head on his shoulder. Chris and Kae was walking closely together, speaking in hush tones. I could tell because I can' t hear them but I see the little vape coming out of their mouths. Kae would occasionally look back at Dominic and I. I was hoping Dominic would notice but he never notice. I sighed and stuffed my hands in my jacket pocket. We then reached our block and I started to speed up wanting to be in my nice toasty home.
We got close to their house and everybody began to speed up, walking into the front gate while I continued walking up the block to my house.

"Trin, where ya going?" Chyna called after me
I turned around and saw her wrapped up in Michael arms with a genuine confused look "Home?" I replied more as a question
Chyna mustered up the straightest face anyone can ever make and folded her arms
I heard Michael kissed his teeth loudly "Man, bring that ass here boy." He said in the exact DC voice unlocking the front door.
Everyone piled in the house except for Dominic. I watched him as he looked right at me, extending his arms towards my direction with one leg up on the first step. I looked down at my sneakers and then looked up, biting my lip unsure. He took his leg down from off of the first steps, turning his whole body so he can face me. Something was telling me 'no Trinity, don't go. Take your ass home' but I actually wanted to spend time with Dominic. Him and I actually bonded at the party, he's such a cool and relaxed guy. It'll be fun.
I walked over to the house and walked through the open gate, closing it behind me. I gladly took his hand smiling up at him. He smiled at mt, giving my hand a slight squeeze. We both walked up the front steps hand in hand, into the house. He closed both doors and guided me by my hips, pushing me more into the house because the front door area is very small for the both of us.
I walked into the living room and immediately peeled off my jacket because the heat in the house was blazing. No one was in the living room, so I guess everyone went to change the out of their party clothes. I draped my jacket on the arm of the three seater couch and sat there. Dominic settled in, taking a seat right next to me. I then remembered that I needed to check in with my father. Even though I'm 19. Cool.
After I informed my father about my whereabouts, I locked my phone slightly raising my butt up sliding my phone in my back pocket. I rested my head back on the couch as my eyes started to get heavy. I felt Dominic stretch his arms over my shoulder, pulling me towards him so I can rest my head on his chest. I snuggled up to him getting comfortable. We sat in peace and silence, other then Kae's occasional screaming from upstairs and Dominic's constant tapping on his phone. He'd curse and mutter under his breath. I opened one eye to see what he was doing and saw he was playing a game on his phone. I started to laugh to myself closing my eyes.

"Aw. Look at y'all!" Chyna cooed
My eyes fluttered open as I saw her back facing towards us with her phone in her hands up in the air. She was Snapchatting us.
"Oh god." I groaned covering my face
I adjusted myself, turning my whole body so my back was facing the camera. I laid my head on Dominic's lap and got comfortable. I then heard foot steeps coming down the stairs. I turned my body so I was laying on my back and saw everyone surrounding around the couch Dominic and I was laying on. I sat up annoyed, sitting properly. Everyone went back to their business which consist of sitting on the other couches available, watching T.v and scrolling through their news feed on their phones.
Chyna and Kae both had on shorts and a tank top on while Michael and Chris has on plaid pajama bottoms and v neck shirts. I don't blame Chyna or Kae for wearing shorts, it's hot in here.
I began to watch what was on T.v which wasn't that interesting, but stopped when I felt a pair of eyes on me. I looked to my left and saw that Dominic was on his phone.
I looked over to the recliner and saw Michael sitting down with Chyna on his lap. They were both looking at a funny video on Chyna's Ipad. I looked to my right over to the love seat and saw Chris watching the T.v also and then my eyes landed on Kae who was looking dead at me. She didn't look away and neither did I, challenging her.
She looked me over then cleared her throat "You didn't wear that sweater when we left to the party."
Everyone perked up, listening in since she disrupted the nice silence that was going on. I looked at her and she looked back at me. She gave me a look of disgust and my face mirrored hers. I looked around and saw everyone staring at me, except for Dominic. He gave her a vindictive look and I'm pretty sure Kae was well aware.
"It's Dominic's." I finally said scrutinizing her
"Hmpf." She sad looking away
I looked over at Micheal and Chyna who had very different faces. Chyna was cheesing hard as ever and I couldn't read Michael's face. Chris stopped watching the T.v and his eyes were switching between Dominic and I. I couldn't stop looking over at Chris as he tried to avoid eye contact with me. The way he was acting made me want to get down on my knees and beg him for forgiveness and explain myself. He looked at me one more time and looked down at his phone, seeing that I was staring at him. I looked over back at Kae and she looked at me with a mischievous look.
I grew tired of the tension and attention on me so I got up out of the couch walking out of the living room. I didn't know my way anywhere in this house but I needed to get out of that room as soon as possible. I walked into kitchen and sat at the kitchen island on the high bar stool. The kitchen was pretty spacious.
I sat there at the table with my head on my hands thinking about ever since I moved here in New York. Ever since I moved here Kae been on me, I haven't done a single thing to her.
"Trinity?" Chyna called after me
I didn't say anything but heard the light pitter patter of her feet coming towards me. I then heard the screeching of the bar stool and felt her presence in front of me.
"I noticed the tension between you and Kae." She started
I rolled my eyes mentally looking up at her. Chyna is such a sweetheart I couldn't be mad looking at her.
"What's up with you and her?" She asked
I sighed taking my hair from out of my bun as my twenty-three inch cascaded down my back.
"Ever since I came here and met y'all Kae been acting the way she been acting towards me. I could careless though." I said simply, shrugging
She sighed and grabbed my hand "let's go." She said hopping off of the bar stool
I hopped off also following suit as she pulled me into the living room and up a set of stairs. I made sure to not make any type of eye contact with anyone
"Where are we going?" I asked as we got to the top of the stairs.
There were six different doors that were all closed. We then walked over to one that had a big decorative 'C' on the door.
"Gonna get you some change of clothes, you're sleeping over!"

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
