《Rejected and Pregnant》Chapter 28

Alena's POV
My heart thumped quickly in my chest. There is no way my brother and Monica were betraying us. They were probably just telling him to leave or something. "They were probably just getting him to leave or something." I repeated my thoughts to him. Axel shrugged.
"I don't know, but they were in the edge of the woods. It looks suspicious to me." I rubbed my head.
"I hate to say this, but we will just have to keep a close eye on them." Axel nodded and wrapped me in a hug. I rested my head on his shoulder. Why is everything so missed up? Is there no one we could trust? Axel kisses my head.
"I called my cousin in Canada, he agreed to watch over the boys while we fight this," Axel said. My heart throbbed at the idea of not being with my boys for a very long time. I just got Timmy back and I just had Mateo. Tears prickled my eyes, am I a bad mother? "Hey, it's going to be okay. The boys are safer there, then here right now." I nodded. Axel was right. I looked up at him, my heart began to quicken. My wolf stirred inside me.
No Alena, you can't. No more heartbreaks. I pulled away from Axel and continued with breakfast. After sometime, Axel went up stairs to get the boys and we all sat around the table to eat breakfast. Timmy went on and on and on about some Teen Titan show that he saw on TV this morning.
A smile stretched across my face. My sweet, handsome boy, you have been through too much. Mateo was laying in my arms, sleeping. Axel smiled at Timmy fondly. Is this how it was suppose to be from the beginning?

My thoughts were cut off by the front door slamming. We all looked up and saw Monica and Joey walk in. They looked rushed and paranoid. "What's wrong guys?" I handed Mateo off to Axel and stood up. Axel watched me closely.
'Don't give us away. Don't let them know what I saw, they might run if they are in the wrong.' Axel mind linked me. I glanced over at him and back my brother. He chuckled nervously and scratched his head. He only does this when he is hiding something.
"Oh nothing, um what's going on with you? Oooh breakfast? Hi Timmy. Hey Alpha. Monica I think we forgot something upstairs. Let's go." Joey rambled, grabbed Monica's arm and dragged her upstairs. They angrily whispered all the way up the stairs until we couldn't hear them anymore. I looked over at Axel, I was filled with more sadness.
"They are definitely hiding something." Axel nodded in agreement.
After breakfast, Axel and I took the boys upstairs. The boys leave for Canada in the morning, so we decided to have a family day. We would break the news to Timmy later tonight. It won't be easy.
We also had little Anne here today with us because Axel's mom and dad wanted a day for themselves. Timmy is very fond of little Anne, who seems to be getting bigger and bigger every day.
Axel has also made it a rule that everyone will begin training tomorrow night. I will be teaching them how to fight. The boys will be teaching them how to be quick and clever. While Cass will be teaching them how to fight with blades and such.
While in the mornings or sometimes at night, Eletta and I will be working with my powers and finding a way to merge our powers if necessary, in order to create a stronger force field.

Dominic and his mate have volunteered to go with our boys to Canada and make sure they are 100% safe. They are not allowed to come back at all until this fight is over.
Axel has also contacted neighboring packs and other packs who we have a treaty with, to find with us. They all agreed. They are all training in there own packs, but the week before it all goes down, they will all be coming down to train with us. I just hope we have enough room and space for 500,000 wolves.
Timmy, Mateo, and Anne were lying between Axel and me. We were in the middle of watching the Lion King on Disney plus, when Monica barged in. I raised an eyebrow at her. "We need to talk," she said. I looked over at Axel, he nodded. I got off the bed and followed Monica out into the hallway.
"It's your brother, I didn't say anything before, because I didn't want him to know I told you and get mad, but he is in trouble. He has been talking to Xavier behind your back and has been forcing me to tag along. I know what they are planning Alena." Monica rushed out. I looked at her suspiciously.
"How do I know your not lying?" Monica raised up her shirt and right there was a small baby bump. My eyes sapped back up to her face.
"Because he has threaded to kill our baby." My breath hitched in my throat. Monica began to sob, I wrapped my arms around her. "He's changed Alena, he isn't the same. He's gone cold, he isn't gental, he's ruthless." I thought back to what London and the boys had said. The other pack members has also grown cold.
"He might have a spell on him. Monica you need to tell me exactly what they have planned." Monica nodded, I took her into my office and sat her down.
She began to tell me everything. They apparently have been talking to Xavier for two weeks now, Joey was the one that allowed Xavier to get on pack lands and into the house with Timmy.
Joey was giving what little information he had about our plan to Xavier, which thankfully wasn't a lot. But what she said next stopped my heart and turned my blood cold. "Xavier isn't planning on just taking Mateo. None of them are. They are planning to drain his power and use if for themselves. They plan to do the same to you. They are allying with Rouges, Vampires, Witches...and all types of hybrids."
