《Villain deku rehab》26 - A Talk

Kirogiri's pov
I listen as Deku explains what he knows about the training camp to Shigaraki. I kinda expected him to know more but if that's all he knows that's all he knows.
I had to convince Shigaraki not to torture it out of him as-well, his original plan involved a taser so I'm glad I was able to convince I'm out of it, somehow.
Once Deku finished talking I looked over at Shigaraki.
This man has such a strong blood lust. I don't know how he's managed to contain it.
"Shigaraki, thoughts?" I ask
"Well we know more than the students so this will be a easy victory." He replies. Dekus face screamed confusion as he looked from Shigaraki to me.
"Wait a minute, why do you mean by 'easy victory'? What are you planning Shigi?" Deku retorts. He has a certain tone of anger behind his words, it's not too noticeable but it's there.
"Why, do you...
Care for them?"
Shigaraki says with long pause as he stares daggers at Deku.
"W-what, n-no, no, I would never, could never care about them, what makes you think that?"
Oh no
This boy has grown attached to them, even if he doesn't admit to it, he at least would care if they die.
This is not good.
If he gets in Shigaraki's way he is pretty much done for.
This isn't good
Deku's pov
Nope not a thing
I would never care about others, the last time I cared for someone was Kacchan and that ended terribly. Also there is no way I could grow attached to those hero's in that short amount of time.
I hate hero's, they are only ever in my way.
"So" Shigi continues, "if we capture a student you would kill them?"
"In a heart beat" I respond. I mean it's not like they are going to be able to capture a student, and even if they did, I've killed over 2,000 people, one measly classmate would be easy, especially if they are already immobile.
"Why don't you guys just tell him already." Toga breaks the silence.
"Tell me what, shigi what are you planning?"
It is possible that they captured someone while getting Toga and I. I wouldn't put it past them.
Shigi pulls out a stack of photos, laying them out on the table.
Right away I see Kacchan, I furrow my brow at the sight of him.
I recognize all of them, they are all students in class 1A.
Kacchan
Todoroki Shoto
Yaoyorozu Momo
Asui Tsuyu
Kirishima Eijiro
Kaminari Denki
"You see, these are the 6 that master wants us to capture for him." Shigi explains
"But why would he want them"
Kurogiri steps in to answer that
"For their quirks, so he can experiment on them. It dosent matter how we get them, just as long as we get them. If that involves killing the others in our way, that is what has to happen."
"That sounds simple enough, so did you only need me for information or is there something else?" I respond
They wouldn't have told me all that if they only needed information, there's something else.
"You're going to come with us"
There it is.
Oh boy, this isn't going to end well
"Sounds thrilling, so can I go back to my cell now or is there something else."
Hopefully he can give more information to me, by his reaction to what I know about the training camp made it look like he knows more than me so it would be helpful if he could hand some of that information over.

"One more thing"
So shigi dose have something else to say.
"When we were at UA, you stoped me from killing those students."
Oh no, he remembered
I did stop him from killing them, why in the world did I do that. It's not like a care about them, I've never even met them before.
If anything I should've let Shigi kill them and then take Toga and I out of UA.
But instead I stoped him and then they were talking about torture and I personally don't like being tortured so I was very hesitant to with them.
"So why did you stop me, I thought you said you didn't care about them."
"I-I I don't, I don't care about them, I'm the Reaper I would never care if someone got injured or killed."
"You were stuttering" shigi points out
"So" I say
Kurogiri responds, "you only stutter when your scared or lying"
Shoot
"I-I don't do that"
Oh god I do do that don't I. How have I not realized it before. It's such a clear give away.
WAIT, doses that mean I care for them. Sure they were nice to me when I was being mean. They did let me play (game of your choice from before) with them.
And sure they were nice to me but that's just what hero's do. They're supposed to be nice to everyone but then be aggressive to villains.
Wait
Oh no, I can't have grown attached to them. Would I even be able to kill them if they were in my way?
Most likely but it would probably affect me in some way. Like affect me mentally.
"Hello, earth to Deku" I look and see toga waiving her hand I'm my face, "you were muttering again"
Really, I thought I quit that habit a while ago.
"So," shigi continues "would you be able to kill them or am I going to have to kill you" be says as he reaches out a hand to my face, leaving his pinki finger off.
"I'm able to kill them" I say looking at him through his hand "just stay out of my way and it'll be easy"
Mental stuff aside, if I want to save my own skin I am going to have to kill them. If not I'm the dead one.
"Good" He pulls his hand away, "you can be free just come back here tomorrow around 11am for more information about the job."
I get up and start to head out
"Oh and one more thing"
"Yeah what is it?"
"If you decide to run, the police and hero's are looking everywhere for you so you are kinda limited to this area."
"Thanks" and with that I leave.
There is no way I can go back to my apartment, I'm pretty sure they still have the cameras there from the other job so that place is out of the question.
I can't skip town because then I won't only have the hero's after me, I'll also be wanted by the league so that's just like putting my own name on a hit list.
Well on more hit lists then I'm already on.
I also don't really want to go against UA
With my current track record I'll probably end up just getting arrested again. At least they are nice to me.
Wait
Why am I thinking that, I don't want to go back to the hero's, I'm a villain and hero's and villains don't go well together.
I need to figure out my priorities.

"I'm Screwed" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This story uses the system derived by Puddles4263 in Randidly Ghosthound. I've incorporates the Path's system into the leveling of this story. Some of the beginning paths will be similar or the same as I thought that the starting paths were very logical on how a system should start. The stories will be completely different as the characters and story arcs will be completely different. Again, thank you Puddles for allowing me to use your system, really appreciate it! I also wanted to thank ProFound Magician. Has a lot of insight into a story development and as his system is based on Ghosthound, I saw a some beginning stage skills that should be thought of in a character just starting out. If you haven't yet read Ghosthound or Genesis System you're in for a real treat when you do! Thank you both I hope my use is seen as an homage in the beginning. Hopefully my story can live up to the system.

Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal
