Jason's POV
Bethany wailed and clutched her stomach and all I could do was rub her back and tell her everything was going to be alright. I looked down and a pool of blood was near her entrance. Shit! Where is that damn doctor. Just as I thought that he blinked in.
"Please back away Master. Let me have a look." I think I growled at him and he rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry sir but I really need to get to her so I can see what I'm dealing with." I finally nodded and backed up and maneuvered to the top of the bed near her head running my hand soothingly through her hair and wiping the tears that were falling from her eyes. The doctor convinced her to turn over on her back and started examining her while I murmured sweet nothing to her.
"J-jason."
"Yes baby."
"C-c-can y-you c-call R-Raziel. He h-has healing p-powers." Of course, why didn't I think of that. I pressed a button on the wall that called into his room that he is staying in.
"Raziel you there?"
"Yes Jason. Is everything ok?"
"No, Bethany is bleeding and in pain. She is asking for you. We are still in our room please hurry." I went back to running my hand through her hair when a bright light engulfed the room and Raziel stepped out. He walked to the bed and placed his hand over her abdomen. A loud humming noise reverberated through the room and a soft glow appeared over her stomach. After a few moments he stepped back and smiled.
"I stopped the bleeding, but she will need some medical things. I'm sure the good doctor here has that covered. Please let me know how she is in a couple of hours or if she is in need of more healing."
"Thanks, Raziel. I owe you one." He nodded his head then the bright light appeared, and he disappeared.
"Master, I need to move her to the infirmary to do some tests. She will also need some blood and fluids as she lost quite a bit." I looked down at my sweet mate who had her eyes closed and looked at peace for now.

"Ok Doc. I'll carry her down. Let me put a gown on her and clean her up a little bit. I'll have her there in less than ten minutes."
"Fine, I'll have everything set up and ready for her. However, no more than ten minutes." After that he blinked, and I ran into the bathroom grabbing a wash pan and washcloth. I filled the pan with warm water and carried it back to my mate. After moving her away from the blood I quickly washed the blood from her body then put a gown over her pale body. I picked up her limp body and held her to my chest and made my way to the infirmary. I laid her on the hospital bed that the doc had set up and pulled the covers over her body as she was shivering. Her eyes fluttered open and found mine.
"What's wrong with me?"
"We don't know yet." I said as I kissed her temple and cupped her face with my hand. "The doctor has to run some tests and you need blood and fluid. Raziel stopped the bleeding and the pain." She nodded and closed her eyes again. Bethany grabbed my hand and held it under the cover as we sat there waiting on the doctor. After a few minutes I heard the door to the infirmary bang open and smelled my mother walking into the room. Standing up and in front of my mate to tell my mother to get out she held her hand out to stop me.
"I'm not here to fight. Raziel informed me of what is going on. I am actually here to help." I looked at her incredulous. My mother had a tight-lipped grimace on her face then shook her head. "How long has it been since you mated?"
"What the Hell kind of question is that? It's none of your business." She threw her hand up again to silence me.
"Yes, it is. Now how long ago?"

"Today if you must know."
"No!" She rolled her eyes at me like I was a small child giving her an answer she didn't like. "The first time." I thought for a few minutes adding it up in my head.
"We've been down here almost three weeks so a little over a month." She nodded her head and walked to the other side of the bed. I gave her a warning glare and she gave me a shocked stare.
"Really? You think I would hurt your mate? Even if I hated her, which I don't I still would not harm a hair on her head. She is your mate, and you are my son and the heir to the throne. I think I know what is wrong with her and I want to help her and you. Believe it or not I do love you." She placed her one hand to Bethany's head and another to her abdomen. "Am I to assume when you mated that you used no protection as she was in heat?" I nodded and she closed her eyes with her hands still on Bethany. I watched and waited. Just as I sat down to wait the doctor walked in with a bag of blood and fluid. Stopping at the end of the bed he waited as well waiting on my mother to finish what she was doing. After a few minutes' moms' eyes popped open and smiled. "Ah good she does need blood and fluid. I'm pretty sure that is all she needs as well."
"Well then what is wrong with her?" I asked because as far as I know not even the doctor knows yet since he hasn't run any tests.
"Nothing is wrong with her."
"Yes, there is! People don't just bleed a gallon and scream in pain!"
"Well, they do if they are pregnant and a succubus. Pregnancy is hard for us. I did the same thing when I became pregnant with you." She said with a smile on her face.
"What did you say?" I asked because I'm not sure I heard her right. She walked over and hugged me then pulled back and smiled.
"I said your mate is pregnant. Raziel told me and I came here to confirm and help if I could. I knew you would be beside yourself. Your father went nuts when I did that same thing. No one tells you about the blood and pain that happens when a succubus becomes pregnant. It's simply not talked about." I just stood there staring at my mother like she had two heads. She said Bethany's pregnant. I'm going to be a father. I fell down into the seat and stared at my sweet mate with her eyes still closed. I'm going to be a Father! I am so excited..... but what will Bethany think. I don't know if she wants a baby yet. We knew it could happen, it's just so soon. I felt my mothers hand run through my hair then rub my back. "Jason, son I know your scared and excited. This is a big deal and life changing. Just let her get her blood and fluid then when she feels a little better tell her. I'm sure she will be just as excited as you. I'll leave you two for now. I'll come back tomorrow to check on you both." I nodded and grabbed Bethany's hand as the doctor stirred her to let her know he was going to start an IV. I can't believe I'm going to be a dad. We are going to be parents! Bethany shivered and I stood up and walked to the closet grabbing another blanket placing it over her tucking her in as the doctor started both the fluid and blood. Now just to wait.
