Bethany's POV
Over the next week I tried to go back to work and realized that it was very much impossible. The first day back Jason had a meeting with a human and apparently my succubus side that I haven't learned to control produced an enticing scent that effected the man and had him almost tackling me and Jason having to usher me to safety. Once I was safe, he delt with the man wiping his memories and sending him on his way. After the incident Jason told me to not to come to work until we could get myself under control. After five days of sitting in my apartment I was getting antsy. I had decided I would just go for a walk around the park next to the building. I put on some black leggings and a warm pull over before exiting the door jogging to the park. I wondered through the park enjoying the feeling of being outdoors. I inhaled deeply noticing the faint smell of spring flowers starting to bloom. I walked the perimeter of the lake in the middle of the park when I noticed a man trailing me from the corner of my eye. Turning my head, I saw at least three men stalking slowly towards me. Shit! I looked around surveying the area for the best way to get back to my apartment. A small trail to my right was clear and I quickly started jogging towards my home. Glancing back, I noticed the men had started jogging along with me and panic settled deep in my soul. I started running franticly pumping my legs as fast as they would go. Making it back to my building I ran up the steps making it to my door jumping in and locking it behind me. Within a few minutes' knocks started sounding at my door.

"Let me in you sweet little vixen!"
"No, let me in I can give you what you want."
"Baby you know you want me." The knocks started becoming bangs and I slide the couch in front of door afraid they would break in. I quickly picked up the phone and dialed Jason's number. Pick up! Come on pick up Jason!
"Hello sweetheart"
"Jason you have to get home. I went for a walk and now there are men beating down the door." Before I could even blink Jason stood in front of me.
"AHHH Shit! I didn't know you could teleport! You scared the Hell out of me." I said tumbling back almost falling on my ass before Jason's arms wrapped around me. The bangs getting louder on my door causing a dent to form in the metal.
"Damn it Bethany I told you not to go anywhere." He rubbed his hand down his face before flicking his hand in the air and mutter something. I watched as he quickly moved the couch and wrenched the door open causing the men to tumble inside. He flicked his arms around and chanted something then clapped his hands together above the men. The men started sitting up with a dazed look on their face.
"Where I am?"
"What's happening?" The men looked around with confusion all over there face.
"Gentlemen! I believe you have the wrong apartment. Now if you will kindly leave." Jason said in a loud booming voice and the men scrambled to their feet and started walking down the steps.
"Jason? What did you do?" He sighed as he closed the door turning towards me.
"I first stopped the scent you were putting out and then I erased the last hour of their memory."

"I'm so sorry." I sobbed as I tears fell down my face. "I am so sick of staying indoors. I just wanted to take a walk." Jason wrapped his arms around me pulling my body to his. I sobbed it to his chest while he ran his hand through my hair kissing the top of my head.
"I know baby. I hate to do this, but I feel it's time to get my mother involved." I jerked back looking at him with horror. I just found out what I was and that I couldn't control it and now he wants me to meet his mother! "SSSHhhh it's ok. I promise she will be able to help you." He pulled me back against him.
"She'll hate me Jason. I'm not a complete demon. Not only that I can't control my body." He sighed and pulled me with him as he headed to my bedroom. Once there he helped me out of my clothes and stripped out of his. We crawled into bed and I snuggled into his side. I rubbed down his abdomen making my way to his already hard member and he stopped my hand. I know he wanted sex, but he seemed to know I needed sleep more.
"Not now baby. You are exhausted. Sleep first and then we will feed." He pulled my hand up and placed it on his chest covering it with his then kissed my temple. My eyes drooped and the last thing I heard was "Everything will be alright."

The Dog with a Chair
As of now, this story is dropped. It was an excellent learning experience, but the quality suffered too much from me trying new things for me to continue in good concience. Thanks to anyone that read it. I'm leaving this story up as a record of my first ever attempt at publishing something I've wrote. To any new writers out there, remember that even if the stuff you write is trash, you can still learn a lot from writing it. - November 17th 2020 Guy gets involved in advocacy for civil engineering projects, then gets pulled into an interdimensional war. Third person with a focus on one main character (Stanley) with the occasional point of view from another character important to story progression. Writing style tends to shift early on as I figure out how to write (this is my first book). Still learning, hoping to improve. Current style choice is to have a focus on character dialogue/actions with interspersed internal monologue in italics. No current end is set for the story, with the primary goal of this project being to learn to express myself in a written format. Storyline is kept as consistent as practical while covering things I find interesting. Governmental systems are mentioned, but not explained in extreme detail. Sci fi elements are used to reinforce and guide plot progression as I'm able. Personal goals belonging to each character are in the process of being developed, with the hope that they will support or oppose each other in interesting ways later on. Hope you enjoy :)
