I opened my eyes and looked down to see Lucy still sleeping. I let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness she's not awake yet. It would worsen things even more.

I slowly removed her arms and entangled myself from her.

What's the time anyway? Oh shit! I forgot about Felix! I rushed down to see him with Metal head, Bookworm and their daughter.

The kids were playing some puzzle game while those two were talking. "What are you'll doing here?" I asked.

"Hello to you too, Flame brain." Metal head said. "We came to check up on Lucy. Is she asleep?" Bookworm asked. I nodded.

"So when are you gonna tell her the truth?" Griffin asked.

"Soon. If she can even bare seeing me." I said bitterly.

"You know, she was feeling a bit guilty for acting that way with you because you'll aren't in any relationship. 'It's not like he's mine.' Was what she said." Bookworm said.

Why the heck is she guilty? It's my fault. I should be the only one feeling guilty. I dragged a hand over my face. I didn't have anything to say. I made my way to couch and settled down. I threw back my head and stared at the ceiling. How will I tell her? When will I tell her?

"And do you know that her birthday's coming up?" Bookworm asked. I nodded.

"26th December. I already have something prepared. I think I'll tell her the truth tonight. When we all go back to the hotel where we were staying." I said.

After an hour or so the three decided to leave. Felix started playing the video game I bought him.

She must be awake by now. I took an aspirin and a glass of water and went up. When I opened the door I saw her sitting on the bed clutching her head.

"Here. Take this. You'll feel better." I said and handed her the pill and water.

She gulped it down quickly without a word of complain. An awkward silence filled us.

"What happened?" She asked. "You got drunk after eating a cake." I said. She didn't make eye contact with me.

"Where's Felix?" She asked. "He's down. Playing video games." I said. I walked towards her and gently took her hand mine. She flinched.

"Listen I-"

"Papa, is Mama awake?" Felix came in and asked. Lucy pulled back her hand quickly and smiled at Felix.

"Mama!" He said and rushed to give her a hug. "Hey Fé." She said.

"Mama I was so worried about you." He said and she kissed him on his cheeks and on his forehead. She smiled at him brightly but her eyes held some sadness. And the cause of that sadness was me. I frowned.

Soon. I'll tell you soon. I don't know how you'll take it but I hope you take it in a good way.

Lucy's POV

"As a sorry I'll make you'll some cutlet sandwiches. Okay?" I said. Felix cheered.

I could feel Jason's eyes on me but I didn't have the guts to look at him. I got up and slowly walked downstairs. I wobbled a bit but made it down safely.

The rest of the day passed by quickly and it was time to part with Felix. Not part exactly since we could meet him anytime since he's in the pre - school division.

He first hugged Jason while the latter patted him on the head and gave him one of his rare smiles.

When he came to me I hugged him tight, not wanting to let him go. He hugged back trying to put his chubby little hands around me.

I kissed him on his forehead, his closed eyelids, his small button nose and both his cheeks. He giggled as I gave him butterfly kisses all over his face.

"I'll miss you Mama, Papa. I can still call you'll that right?" He asked cutely. I smiled wide.

"Of course!" I said. "It'll feel weird if you didn't, kiddo." Jason said. Felix smiled brightly. I put him down.

"Promise you'll will come meet me soon?" He asked. He held his pinky finger out.

I interwined it with mine, sealing our promise. Jason did the same.

Suddenly big fat tears flowed down his cheeks. What the hell? He was smiling not just a second ago.

He latched himself to my left leg and Jason's right leg forcing our shoulders to bump into each other. I flinched slightly, not wanting to be in contact with him.

We looked over to the others seeing them facing the same problem. We saw Mr. Lee laughing there nervously.

We all glared at him. The old couple who brought all of them were standing beside Mr.Lee. The guy clapped his hands bringing all the kids attention towards him.

"Kids, if you'll don't let go off your parents then you'll will never be able to see them again. If you'll don't want that, then let go of them and come here."

As soon as he said that all the kids rushed to him. We waved them bye as they left. We were waiting to meet them again already. We were then taken to our hotel.

I came out of the bathroom all fresh after a bath. I drank a glass of milk (Hey! I need it if I want to grow taller and even more stronger!) and was about to call it a day when my door opened and there stood Lisa and Levy.

"What's up guys?" I asked. "We were all meeting up at Kelly's room for a sleepover. Grab your stuff and let's go." Lisa said.

"Okay...." I said and looked at them suspiciously. I grabbed my sleeping bag and locked the room. We made small talk while walking down the hall. We reached and I pushed open the door to find no one there.

"Hey guys there's n-"

I was pushed inside the room and I heard them lock the door. My eyes widened. I ran to the door and banged on it.

"Guys?! What the hell?!" I shouted. "Sorry Lu. But we had to." I heard Levy's voice from the other side.

I heard some other voices too and realised that it belonged to the boys. Oh no! What are they planning?

"Lucy don't try breaking the door since its Alice proof." Kelly said.

"I want you to tell me what's going on right now! Or else I'll chop off all of your heads and feed it to the hungry wolves!" I said with a dark aura around me.

"L - Lucy calm down. Once it's over I bet you'll be thankful to us." I heard Ben speak. I growled.

"Thankful my ass. Just wait and watch once I'm out I-"

"Are you done threatening them?" I heard a deep voice. How can I ever forget that voice? I turned around and saw Jason sitting on the bed a few feet away from me, his eyes boring into mine.

"What do you want?" I asked going straight to the point.

He sighed, got up and walked towards me. He stopped when he was a feet away from me.

"Listen I -"

"I don't wanna listen to your shit." I said cutting him off.

"Just hear me out." He said getting a bit annoyed. I looked away from him.

"5 mins. That's all you've got. Say what you want." I said. I saw him close his eyes for a second and take a deep breath.

"So you know we Dragon Slayers have the same abilities like dragons. Like our Alices are stronger than others and we have hightened senses." He explained.

I nodded listening carefully but pretending not to. I saw him nervously scratching his neck. That's when I spotted a scar on his neck. I wonder how he got it.

"But we also inherit their dragon instincts. And sometimes our inner dragon takes control over our body and mind. And when it does we might end up doing things we never wanted to do." He said.

"Why does it come out?" I asked interested. "It comes out to fulfil our innermost desires. And...During the party, before it, actually, those desires started surfacing and if I hadn't kissed soul sucker then I could've hurt you. My inner dragon would go after the person who is the most suitable for filling these desires. It won't think if that person is okay with what it's doing and if that person doesn't comply then there are chances of the person getting hurt or even being....killed. I....I couldn't bear the thought of hurting you. If I did then I would never be able to forgive myself. So I kissed that girl to get distracted and then I could get control over myself. It wouldn't have happen if you didn't wear that dress!" He said but

blaming me in the end.

A vein popped on my forehead. "So you're blaming it on me now?! What the hell?!" I shouted.

"It is your fault! If you hadn't worn that dress then I wouldn't be turned on and I would've been able to control my instincts!" He shouted too.

Wait...Does that mean he found me attractive in that dress?

"I'm sorry. There I said it! Now will you forgive me?" He asked in a gentler tone. I smiled softly and hugged him.

"I will." I said and his arms snaked their way to my waist. He buried his nose in the junction between my neck and my shoulder. He took a deep breath.

"Gosh. How I've longed to smell you again." He muttered. I giggled. He's just like a dog. Or is he like a cat? Eh whatever. I wound my arms around his neck.

"I'm sorry too. For misunderstanding you, not listening to you, for just thinking about myself, ignoring you. Am I forgiven too?" I asked. He 'hn' ed in response.

He raised his head slightly and began, "Short stacks I...I..l-" but he was cut off when the alarm on my watch went off.

"Oh no! It's time! Sorry Jas but I gotta go. There's a movie I want to see and I don't think I'll be able to see it again." I said and turned to find an open window. I gave him a quick peck on his cheek and went towards the window.

I looked down to see that we were two storeys up. Who cares? I jumped down after summoning Aries who made my landing safe by letting out hoards of pink wool. They were so soft and fluffy!

I looked up to see Jason smiling down at me softly. "I'll be coming to your room later." He said returning back to his poker face.

"Okay! See ya!" I said smiling wide and rushed inside and back to my room. I was happy that we're back to normal.

On my way I saw my dear friends waiting in front of the door I had been locked in. They all looked at me wide eyed.

"I'm currently in a hurry but don't worry I'll come back later and personally take you all to hell." I said, my voice heavily coated with honey. They all shivered in fear.

"Thanks by the way!" I said and started running again.

Normal POV

Lucy's eyes were glued to the TV so she didn't see Jason come in through her window but still sensed him.

She offered him the bowl of popcorn when he sat down beside her on her couch. He grabbed some in his hand and popped them in.

He looked at the screen and saw that it was a chick flick. He groaned.

"Seriously? A chick flick?" He asked, kinda disgusted by it.

"Shh!" Was all Lucy said.

Throughout the night Jason just sat there not interested in the movie rather he was more interested in the blonde beauty's expressions.

They kept changing from happy to anger to sad to dreamy and blah blah blah.

During the movie she had scooted over to him desiring some warmth. He happily - though he didn't show it - put an arm around her and pulled her even closer.

Once the movie was done it was already past midnight. Lucy got up and stretched her body. She yawned loudly and rubbed her eyes in a drowsy manner. She turned to Jason.

"Now wasn't that fun?" She asked. He grunted in response. She pouted.

"At least answer me verbally. Well whatever. It's quite late now. You should go back to your room and sleep." She said moving over to the bed. Jason smirked.

"Who says I'm going? I'm sleeping here." He said.

"What?! No!" She yelled. He walked over to the bed and laid down on it. He patted the spot next to him.

"Don't be shy now sweetheart. It's not like we haven't slept together before." He said grinning like a Cheshire cat. Lucy blushed.

"Shut up! And don't make it sound so dirty! And get off my bed." She said.

"No. And don't be so noisy. You'll wake up the others." Jason said closing his eyes. Not having any energy to fight with him she quietly went laid on the corner of the bed.

She squeaked when she felt his arm around her waist and pulled her close. Her back was now in contact with his warm chest. She felt his hot breath on her ear. She shivered a bit. Her eyes slowly drooped due to the warmth and she was on her way to her dreamland. Jason let himself seep into the darkness too.

Lucy's POV

"This was so fun! Even though we had to do an assignment." I said as Lev, Gabrielle and I walked towards the bus.

We had finished having our breakfast and were about to leave for the academy.

"If you had fun on this trip, I swear you'll have more fun during the summer trip. We normally go to the beach or mountains." Lev said.

"For the past 3 years we have been going only to the mountains though. I hope we can go to the beach this year." Gabrielle said sighing.

"I can't wait!" I said. "You need to worry about the homecoming first." Kelly said coming over to us.

"And don't forget Valentine's day!" Lisa popped up out of nowhere.

"We'll win for sure this time!" Elly said joining the conversation.

"Win what?" I asked. "During Valentine's day, we have a talent show." Gabrielle said. My mouth formed an ' o '.

"But the Christmas party comes first." Ben said coming over and putting an arm around Elly's waist. The other guys followed suit.

"How can I forget?! Girls, once we're back we're going clothes shopping!" Kelly said.

"But we just bought few dresses recently." Levy and I said.

"You should have a new dress for every occasion." She said. Levy and I looked at each other and sighed.

"By the way what did you'll do for last Valentine's day? For the talent show?" I asked.

"We usually play as a band. Gabrielle and her friends had done a fashion ramp walk last year, featuring the dresses they made. They won." Lisa said.

"Really? Wow." I said. Gabrielle just smiled.

"Hey Lucy, are you good at singing or can you play any instrument? What about you Gabrielle?" Levy asked.

"I'm not that great at singing but I do play the drums." Gabrielle said.

"I'm good at singing and I can play the guitar and piano." I said.

"Great! So you'll wanna be in the band?" Lisa asked cheerfully.

"Sure!" We both said.

"Students! Please board the bus. We'll be leaving in a few minutes." Mr.Lee shouted.

"We can discuss this later." Elly said and we all nodded heading towards the bus.
