《Making Love to The Alpha》Chapter Thirty-Seven:

"Are you sure I look alright? Ammi, everyone is staring at me" I hissed, smiling through clenched teeth at the people I was passing. "Allie! Calm down, their just looking at you because you're human and your scent is unfamiliar. And you look hot...duh!" She giggled, looping her arm through mine and leading me through the pack house, showing me off to every one else in the house.
People stopped their conversations and stared, lowering their drinks from their lips and whispering to people around them. I don't know why, I wasn't that pretty and the dress wasn't that short. It wasn't modest, but it wasn't 'stare her down for being indecent' short. The Pack was looking at me like I had spinach in my teeth.
Ammi explained that the 'Pack' was the Werewolf community and the 'Pack House', was where all the wolves stayed who didn't have a house to stay in. It was kind of like a upper class college dorms, but with lots of chandeliers and expensive looking paintings.
The artist in me wanted to stop and admire them, to think of what the artist was thinking when he or she was painting it and what it made me feel. But, the Allie in me wanted to get outside, away from the staring eyes that had me wishing I was in a turtle neck and mom jeans.
Anything other than the secy white dress I was wearing.
We reached the back door, and Ammi opened it, looking back at me with a smile that had more than a hint of a playful smirk. I had hoped the door would lead us to a less crowded area, but I was wrong.
The back yard was packed with people. Little kids zigged and zagged in between the adults and elders, screaming about pirate ships and princesses. Picking through the crowd of well groomed and good looking people, I found the person I was looking for.
Sam was wearing a red v-neck sweater with a white button up underneath it, and blue jeans. It amazed me how one person could look so hot in jeans. He was talking with Carter, T.J, and a few other people I didn't know but his eyes where on me.
Trailing my eyes up his body, I saw he was doing the same with a hungry expression. Looking at his smirk, I had a strange feeling he was keeping a secret from me.
"Oh my gosh, He's staring at me" I squeaked to Ammi, feeling slightly like Bambi in the very tall heels she put me in saying 'You won't look short next to Sam if there are pictures taken'. "Who? Every guy here is checking you out, girl." Ammi laughed, waving at someone.
"Sam, you bozo" I hissed, blushing. "Well, duh! Now stop being so wimpy and let's go talk to him." Ammi giggled, running her hand through her already perfect hair.
Pulling her closer to me as sort of a shield, we started walking to Sam and his small group of boys. Ammi seemed excited to approach them, pulling me faster.
Looking at the ground trying to hide my blushing cheeks, we approached the group. "Well, look what the cat dragged in" Carter said, and I looked up to see his smiling face.

"Hey Carter" I smiled, walking into his open arms into a hug., grateful that I knew someone other than Ammi and Sam. His hug was soft and friendly, unlike Sam's hugs that where warm and slightly sexual.
I felt strong on my hips and then I was lifted away from Carter and placed against a chest that was so strong and electricity filled that it could only belong to Sam. In a matter of seconds he wrapped his arms protectively around my waist, holding me against him.
"If you will excuse us" He told the group, and all of them, including Ammi, wandered off to talk to other people. Turning back to face me, she gave me a double thumbs up before disappearing into the crowd to go to God knows where.
"Isn't that dress a bit short?" Sam said, turning me around so I was facing him and running his eyes up my body like the view was different up-close. It felt like his eyes where undressing me, making a dirty thought pop into my brain of him actually undressing me.
"Uh..yeah. Ammi said it made my legs and but look great.. I wanted to wear jeans.." I said innocently. "Ammi was right. You look hot, but, every guy has been staring at you since you walked out" Sam growled, pulling me to him by my waist so I was pressed against his chest "I don't like other guys looking at what is mine".
"Oh?" I giggled, wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him down to me so our lips where almost touching "White looks so hot on you.. And you wore the perfect dress for tonight" He whispered, bending down slightly so our lips where even closer then before.
But, like every single time Carter was around, he had to ruin it.
"Sam! Your parents need to talk to you about the announcement" Carter said, pointing behind him with his thumb. "Want me to take Allie to her seat so you can..chat with them" Carter said, winking at Sam who growled.
"Shut it, that announcement is still a secret. Go sit her down, and don't let any guy look at her" Sam demanded, squeezing my waist to comfort me and kissing my cheek "Watch her" Sam warned again, before turning and strolling into the crowd.
Scoffing, Carter wrapped his arm around my shoulders and led me over to a white table that was off the ground, over-looking the rest of the tables. I assumed it was for the Alphas and Betas of the pack. See!? I was learning my Werewolf vocabulary!
"You look beautiful, by the way" Carter pointed out, sitting down and motioning for me to sit down next to him. Sam was right about people looking at me, I felt eyes all over my body. "Don't let Sam hear you say that" I giggled, looking at him.
"Hello" A deep voice said making me jump, and I turned around to see a guy with a Darth Vader mask on. "Andrew, knock it off" Carter laughed, pulling the mast and letting it snap back against Andrews face.
"Ow!" Andrew groaned, peeling the mask off his now red and sitting on the other side of me "Damn! Allie-Cat, you're looking hot!" Andrew joked, wiggling his finger in the air and doing the duck face.

"Hey.. Speaking of me looking 'hot' why did Sam need to chat with your parents?" I asked Andrew, tilting my head to the side and doing the puppy dog face so he would pity me and tell me the truth instead of the lie Sam told him to tell me if I asked, which I did.
"That, Princess, is none of your concern" Sam whispered in my ear, pulling my chair back. In a swift movement he took my hand and pulled me up, spinning me around then slamming me against his chest. "The sun's going down.. let's dance" He smiled and cautiously nodded in agreement.
He pulled me away from the table and to the patio, where soft music was playing and couples where dancing. It was away from all the noise, people speaking in whisperers. It was relaxing, and I hadn't realized that Sam was correct and the sun was sinking in the sky even though it was only 6 o'clock.
Sam pulled me back to him, moving my hands onto his shoulders and then his onto my waist. He pulled me closer, smiling down at me.
"You're very touchy tonight" I smiled, swaying with him and moving closer. "Well, I want every guy to know that you're mine" He chuckled, leaning down and kissing me gently.
Kissing him back, I tried to take dominance of the kiss but he woulden't let me. Moving his hands down to my butt, he gripped it hard making me gasp softly. Taking his chance, he slid his tongue into my mouth and exploring it like he'd never get to again.
We stayed like that for a while, kissing and switching who had the power. I wanted nothing more than to ditch this barbecue and run up to his room and let him take me, but like always, Sam stopped it before anything got to heated.
He pulled away, licking his lips and closing his eyes. "You're the most beautiful girl here" Sam whispered, spilling me out and pulling me out so my back was to his chest.
"There are a lot of people here, you sure about that?" I giggled, rocking with him and holding onto his hands like they where the only thing that could keep me grounded as the light, electric feeling shocked my body.
"Of course i'm sure, Kitten." He smirked, spinning me so I was facing him again. "Your mother raised you right, did you know that?" I giggled, pulling myself closer to him and going onto my tip toes as a signal for him to kiss me again.
He laughed hard, putting his hand on my cheeks and kissing me deeply. "Thank you, Allie. I'm proud of this one" A sweet voice said, and I pulled away from Sam to see his mother. She was wearing black and white sleeveless dress and a jean jacket.
"I think it is time we officially meet, Allie. Sam, your dad needs you to help with something" She smiled, and Sam nodded swiftly. Pulling away from me, he kissed my hand and gave me a reassuring look before darting off somewhere in the crowd.
"Allie, come over here" Sam's mom said, walking over to a secluded table. Following her, I sat next to her and smoothed my dress down trying to make it look more modest. I didn't want to look like a hoe in front of my boyfriend-mate's mother, and his Luna, after all.
"Mrs.Parker-" I started, but she smiled and held her hand up for me to stop "-Call me Lucy. Everyone in the pack does" She said, gesturing for me to continue; "Lucy, I just want to compliment you again on raising Sam. He is so sweet, and polite" I blushed, looking at my hands and fiddling my thumbs.
"Thank-you, Allie. Sam is a good boy, but let's talk about you. How old are you?" She asked, and I gave her a confused look "I need to know, so I can understand you and Sam's relationship better" She explained.
"I'm 17, 18 in a few months" I answered, clearing my throat.
"And you're the Imp's sister, correct?"
"Yes"
"Who do you live with? And are they okay with the relationship between Sam and you?"
"I live with my grandmother, Ruby. And I honestly don't care what she thinks. I love Sam and that's all that matters"
"I like you, you're feisty. And one last question; How many grand babies will I get from you and Sam?"
"Um.. I-I don't know" I rushed out, coughing. "Ms.Lucy, there you are!" A breathy voice said, and I turned to see Gray and Jess.
Jess was doubled over, catching her breath while Gray just looked at me like I was scum on the bottom of her shoe. "Hello girls, have you met Allie?" Lucy asked, reaching over and taking my hand.
They both shifted, and I saw Ammi over their shoulders. "Yes, we have." Gray said, crossing her arms and tilting her head to the side. "Isn't she just lovley? Beautiful, isn't she? Oh! What do you girls need?" Lucy asked, and Gray began to talk.
Excusing myself, I stood up and quickly made my way over to Ammi who was cracking up. "'How many grand babies will I get from you and Sam?' Oh my God, i'm dying!" She laughed, gripping her stomach and gripping my elbow. "You heard!?" I hissed, whimpering quietly.
"Werewolf hearing, my lovely" She giggled, and I heard someone clear their throat behind me. Turning, I saw Jess and Gray with angry expressions. "Hello, ladies" I said, smiling through my teeth.
"Why are you here?" Jess asked, glaring at Ammi who shifted feet. "Sam invited me. And if you excuse me, I think I hear him calling my name. What? Oh, alright Sam, i'm coming" I said, grabbing Ammi's wrist. and tugging her away from the she-devils.
"Their going to get you" Ammi laughed, "'How many grand babies will I get from you and Sam?'"

His crimson eyes trailing a little over her room and spotted the black dress over her bed and shifted his eyes over to the woman in front of him. He stepped forward and spoke. «Where did you acquire that dress?»«Mr. Harland gave it to me.» Elise replied and strained her neck to see Ian’s brows knitted in its elegance.«Do you know why a man would love to give a woman a dress?» He gave the riddle that she always had to think twice before replying. But this time, she found no answer and instead shook her head. «I don’t know.»His grin grew bewitching as though something had stirred deep inside the scarlet eyes that he had. He slowly slid his hand over the collar of her dress, sending a cold shiver that startled her for a moment due to its freezing temperature. After unbuttoning the first two buttons on her collar, he tilted his head down, whispering to her ears. «Because they want to be the one to undress the cloth.»He paused and kissed her neck, turning the pale skin to red before retracting his move to fix his eyes on her and leisurely replied. «Unfortunately, you can’t wear the dress over there with this.» He chuckled and passed a box over to her hand. «And the fortunate news is I prepared a dress for you.»
