My bad poetry

left a vigorous scar

across your broken heart;

sweetheart, they were only

sugar and spices;

you should hear the unerringly

destructive words

that I kept to myself.

Once upon a time, there was

a lonely king who,

by chance of fate,

met a queen of thunderstorms

and natural causes;

they bonded through a string

of virtual conversations,

of pickup lines

and legendary puns;

they formed new romantics

towards one another.

Plastic dreams and

indecisive relations

became the foundation

to their love castle;

they still thought they were

each other happy's ending.

She ruled the skies

and stars at night;

she was also the queen

of his heart.

He poured all his feelings

on virtual papers;

how he loved her too much.

As each chapter passed,

they drifted further away

from each other;

the spark was lost

amidst the fog

the romance was gone,

gone with the wind;

he decided to let

their love perish,

even the memories

that united them

when the tides were rough.

And so, they lived

unhappily ever after.
