I rewinded the cassette of our memories;

digging deep into the systems

to find, to learn, and to trace

the bugs in our codes;

I was the fault in our stars.

I glanced down on my keypad;

maybe this routine of

stealing phrases,

and words from other creators

and rebranding them into ours

that we came to know as writing

was the number one cause

of my neglection,

my ignorance,

and our downfall.

How could I help myself?

Writing was the only reason

I had a life in the first place.
